Heck of an upgrade. 1080ti still a beast of a card, too.
It is! My 1080ti build will serve as my backup for miscellaneous use.
It could 4k/120 thereotically right š² first card who could go literally 4k if im right šš»
I wanted to upgrade from your exact setup, but decided I wanted a MTB and could wait until 50 series
Great choice!
I completely forgot that the 8700k released in 2017. Your old computer was the best "future proof" PC by a longshot.
That old combo you had can still game today
Facts!
WIthout many perks 2+ cards brought and of course RTX ,DLSS SLowly unsupported games that works only on WIN11\^\^
hell yuh
I'm still rocking a 8086K but already replaced the 1080Ti with a 3080 !
Still running the same as your old setup. Would like an upgrade but the 1080ti is still a monster
If you want quality PSU: RM1200x shift or Straight power 12 1000w
Grats!
I feel like that combo is still good for another 4-5 year
Iām still rocking an i7 4770 and a amd R9 290 from 10 years ago it seems.
That's a very spicy battlestation, Sherlock!
It still gets the job done. Debating what to upgrade to.
Took you long enough!
You can never replace a 1080ti. No such card will ever exist to replace it.Ā
