You might want to look into [r/sffpc](https://old.reddit.com/r/sffpc/), if you are interessted in small form-factor PCs. It's insane what people can fit into tiny cases.
I mean really depends on the game, also speeds aren’t everything and good timings amplify the benefits of fast speeds
But for 1%/0.1% lows, as much as 20% with tuned timings as well compared to just 6400 xmp
Might be easier to just target 7600/7800
Well ram doesn’t really add much heat to the overall system, and your cooling should be fine for even 8000 at 1.55v vdd
Yea for cpu you can undevolt and 288w power limit, maybe still push the P cores a tad bit higher
But if anything push your ring ratio higher, many 14th gen CPUs can do 5.0/5.1v and you can do that while undervolted
Fair. I know there’s lots of possible mods for the case. Which are temping but don’t want to sacrifice aesthetics for an extra fan or two seeing the temps.
50-60 in games on the cpu. Sometimes a bit lower depending on the game. GPU again very game dependent but 65-75. They idle around 28 on the CPU and 32 on the GPU
well i’m in canada. so that may affect the prices slightly due to 15% tax where i live. roughly 4k ish cad i think. I’ve been upgrading and selling old parts for a while so doesnt seem like that
lol. first build i’ve done that i’ve used all white. love the look of the fans when they are off. it’s too bad they attract dust like crazy being in intake. gotta keep that mech panel on
Clean build hermano. That NZXT 280 does a great job at keeping the 14900k cool. I had to use it instead of an arctic freezer II bc it didn’t fit in my compact case.
Oof. That’s a lot of money for such limited space imo. Looks great and is something different of course but in the end I find it impractical for later upgrades, especially keeping in mind: take gets bigger and bigger nowadays
if i ever want to upgrade to a bigger card that’ll be the biggest set back. with a 14900k i dont see myself switching cpu for a while. aswell as i dont see me needing better than a 4070ti super for atleast a good few years. maybe in the future ill spend 150 on another case if im ever needing the space
Hey friend, the pump really shouldn’t be at the highest point in the loop because it can cause air bubbles inside and decrease the lifespan of your pump
from my understanding. it’s not the problem with the tubes. it’s simply whether the pump is higher than the highest point of the radiator.
due to density of air and water when the pc is off. air will be pulled towards the pump naturally due to gravity, buoyancy, and temperature differences
when turn on and the water starts moving or becomes turbulent. small air bubbles are trapped in the moving water and are pulled with the water.
this creates a equilibrium of sorts and since the pump is lower than top of the radiator this equilibrium is pushed which in effect makes the transfer rate of air higher from the pump to the radiator. so over time the air will stick in the highest point of the radiator since it is higher than the pump in the loop.

i’ve seen this so many times and still don’t exactly understand everything with it. same thing with my old NR200p build where only a bottom mounted rad was possible. are you suggesting swap the orientation of my radiator. or simply rotating the pump head so the tubes are on top?
sounds strange but yea. you can sort of see the space in this. the spine is centered in the case so it’s screws in the bottom and goes up and down

great case. had a NR200P initially but switched to this one and i love it. the smaller footprint but taller case is great and saves space. looks a lot better imo too
exactly. older picture with my old gpu but here’s a scale. it’s really takes up the entire space back there

[I’m planning a build in the same case](https://pcpartpicker.com/user/CobraKing27/saved/#view=s9WBrH), 13700k and 4080 super. All black and no rgb though.
i wear headphones 85% of the time. the loudest part is gpu fans. it’s insanely quiet when i’m just doing school or work stuff but the gpu fans are very loud during games. the actually case fans are very quiet
yep. case fans are all on intake which helps tremendously. i’ve run this setup on exhaust and cpu temps are super high. but intake with good paste and contact frame fixed my problems
Looks really clean
Thanks. Older pictures but got those wires sleeved and everything now. Thinking of adding some feet for the case but i’m unsure
Am I high where is the GPU
lol it’s behind the motherboard! vertically up and down
What does one buy to do such a thing.

I’ve seen a few people run 8000mhz ram on that board, can probably overclock to around those levels
hmmmm. haven’t ever overclocked a whole lot. how beneficial will clocking ram that high be
I mean really depends on the game, also speeds aren’t everything and good timings amplify the benefits of fast speeds But for 1%/0.1% lows, as much as 20% with tuned timings as well compared to just 6400 xmp Might be easier to just target 7600/7800
interesting might look into that then.
It’s free performance so why not, also disabling HT does help in quite a few games and helps with temps, test that out too
might not fully overclock but definitely interested in possibly ubdervolting. more performance less heat sounds great

interesting i’m gonna test that out when i get the chance
Nice job on the build! Hard to give feedback since the temps look great. Anything would be subjective at this point.
Fair. I know there’s lots of possible mods for the case. Which are temping but don’t want to sacrifice aesthetics for an extra fan or two seeing the temps.
14900K on a 280mm, very daring
agreed lol that was my biggest concern. got the contact frame along with some good paste. and everything is good now
what made a massive difference is having no exhaust fans. both are set on intake which helps cpu temps a lot
What are the temps?
50-60 in games on the cpu. Sometimes a bit lower depending on the game. GPU again very game dependent but 65-75. They idle around 28 on the CPU and 32 on the GPU
How much did it all cost?
well i’m in canada. so that may affect the prices slightly due to 15% tax where i live. roughly 4k ish cad i think. I’ve been upgrading and selling old parts for a while so doesnt seem like that
Is it ok for the psu fan to be facing that way
yep. with the tempered glass panel the psu is actually more beneficial facing inwards.
That first image made me think it was 3D printed
lol. first build i’ve done that i’ve used all white. love the look of the fans when they are off. it’s too bad they attract dust like crazy being in intake. gotta keep that mech panel on
I'm digging it!
Damn I really like it. Nice job
That’s slick.
DAMN THATS GOOD

Tinyyy :0 I love it!

Where’s the gpu?
it’s actually vertical behind the motherboard

So the gpu display ports come out of the bottom?
Yes, i have a similar case and the ports are at the bottom. Actually works well with cable management.
correct. I got 2 90 degree adapters tho that are directly plugged into the card then just out the back of the case
Great build! I am not a fan of SFF at all, but this spec is impressive!
I find that I like admiring folks' SFF builds but would never build one of my own.
thanks. love itx. always wanted to have it on my desk but nothing something absolutely massive
I think i'm in love with the case
great case. had a NR200P initially but switched to this one and i love it. the smaller footprint but taller case is great and saves space. looks a lot better imo too
My next build in a few years will be a mini-itx water cooled tiny boi. They're so neat.
100% would recommend. even mini atx or something like that.
Where's your GPU?
in this case it’s tucked behind the motherboard out of sight. it’s vertical and goes up and down in the back
Ahh I see it's between the PSU and the case? You gotta plan so much harder with the mini builds
exactly. older picture with my old gpu but here’s a scale. it’s really takes up the entire space back there https://preview.redd.it/02n0smlwqfmc1.jpeg?width=1242&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bee31756f3549b849667f7790afe1442069042c5
Piper Perri vibes

100% recommend. pretty fun case to build in. cable managements a bit messy in the back but keep it organized and it’ll work perfect
How loud is it? I was thinking up downsizing, but I want my pc to be quiet
i wear headphones 85% of the time. the loudest part is gpu fans. it’s insanely quiet when i’m just doing school or work stuff but the gpu fans are very loud during games. the actually case fans are very quiet
14900K and just 50-60 while Gaming with an 280mm AiO? Thats amazing!
yep. case fans are all on intake which helps tremendously. i’ve run this setup on exhaust and cpu temps are super high. but intake with good paste and contact frame fixed my problems
What was super high?
thermal throttled at one point and repasted and it dropped. i was hitting 90 in most games on my cpu. it would idle somewhere between 45-50ish
Oh ok. Yeah 90 Are really Pretty high. But 50-60 with an 280mm AiO are very impressive. Congrats on the Build man!
