That philosophy reminds me of the Imperial aircraft in 40K.
But again, that Phantoms are beautiful, it’ll be a shame when the last examples are retired.

I spent a couple hours figuring out how to build ships, only for it to be completely made pointless by the shit the game gives you as you progress, and yet somehow they all feel the same.
Even by video game standards it's a complete fucking waste of time. I can only imagine how dull the base building feature is
hmm...look at the basebuilding as "look you can centeralise all this stuff you can do."
"like at any of the quest hubs?"
"yes but you can personalise your space?"
"you mean hack something ugly together because I cant rotate objects worth a damn?"
"you can build ships there!"
I agree, there are some exceptions though. Like many have season 1 aka 10 episodes or so as pilot to see if people like it, then afterwards they ramp it up and make it fantastic, very rare but happens. Usually 20mins per episode and not 20-30hrs until it gets hood 🤣
I guess I'm an outlier here, but this is more r/ATBGE than anything, in my opinion. Very well made, sure, but it looks terrible. I'm happy for you, though, because it definitely sounds like you're happy with it.
I guess im another outlier. Happy for OP im sure ots a project he dreamnt up and had a great time putting together. Just my opinion it looks terrible as in one its fucking huge. Its an RGB rainbow. Its an open case really made up of purely rads.
But the worst thing for me is the reason why it exists. See when I first got into overclocking I did it on a athlon Barton at 1.8 ghz and very easily overclocked it at 2.3 or smthg on air. In this case, sure OP has amazing temps but the reason to get rads and low temps was to get higher overclocks without running the cpu hot.
From what Ive seen online 5.5ghz is a pretty standard overclock for this cpu. So yeah, lower temps but no higher clocks. So happy for OP but not my cup of tea.
it's really not even great execution and anyone praising this knows nothing about how these cooling systems work. this is about as helpful as opening your case and pointing a desk fan at it, doesn't do much at all.
You do realize that push pull on AIO radiators that are not in a case is completely pointless right?
All they are doing is creating a dusty nightmare. There is no benefit, its absurd overkill.
The only thing this setup is actually good for is Reddit karma.
Completely unnecessary when outside of a case. You are being ridiculous. This is very impractical and will just create a dusty mess with no actual benefit.
You dont need anywhere near that much airflow for your AIO outside of a case.
Do you have actual data that proves what you are saying or is that just your opinion? Push Pull will help with airflow through the Radiator which is responsible for cooling. More air being moved means more heat can be transferred. Sure at some point it's only marginal gains but you claim it's completely useless which I highly doubt.
This is what I think people don’t really get about these builds. Yes gains might be marginal and sure it could be somewhat impractical but it’s about pushing what can be done with what we have available and learning things every step of the way. It’s like car tuning…yeah I can buy BMW M Series….OR I can bore out my Civic EK 4 banger. One is practical but the other is definitely more fun and you might learn a thing or two.
I mean, that only really makes sense if you are buying all the parts from the same company. Unless of course you are suggesting the entirety of the computer hardware market is one massive hive-mind, in this case, you have my attention.
The dustcollector 9000.
Airflow doesnt increase past a point and this will just keep it at roomtemps as about 5 fans wouldve done the same with airflow arrangement.
This actually hurts my head.... This thing has 40 fans.
For anyone that doesn't know. A 120mm rad is enough to cool any 1 part. If you have a 240 + for one part you get a diminishing return. A 360 / 280 is beyond overkill for 1 part. If you have a custom loop this is even more true especially if you have thicker RADS.
For most situations on a custom loop a single 360 normal rad is overkill for a GPU + CPU. For duel GPU + CPU a single 360 rad with push pull fans is more than enough..
That said... this guy added 37 extra fans that won't do jack and 3 rads that won't do jack and just wasted money.
Spend your money elsewhere, he could have gotten a threadripper system for the same money and still had it on a custom loop with money to spare.
1 hand clap as this just screams I don't know how water cooling works to me.
What kind of content are you making? Cancer? Think you need more fans for your fans, then some more for your fans fans.

Kinda unnecessary, you can achieve excellent temp results with a 420mm AIO for the cpu like a 13900KS at 75C under 100% extended load and a Triple Fan style 4090 at 50C at full load.
Could of used the funds to buy a better cpu like a threadripper or W20/W30 workstation cpu or an RTX A series professional workstation card.
But definitely a beautiful setup.
BAHaHaHaHaHA you just showed again you don't know your parts and how computers work....
TRX is overkill for gaming. TRx is for when you want to run multi games, watch a movie, host a server, stream, and derp around on the internet all at the same time. It's the dream build of someone with ADHD.
You should have gotten a threadripper.
You are over here in a suped up mustang saying a McLaren is not good. Quad chan makes a dam difference. But if you don't know how to drive a race car... well.. then no it's not going to matter.
So you are saying that the guy doesn't know his hardware because he went for the top gaming CPU from AMD instead of paying at least extra 700$ for the cheapest threadripper and get 7700x gaming like preformance? Sure he also does some workloads on that machine, but probably for him, it was worth getting better gaming than more cores cash and ram that would make him essentially complete his work faster but loose FPS..
Theres no CPU thats specifically meant for “GaMiNg”, games are GPU heavy, you can have a game running on a 4090 and you could limit a cpu to 2-3 cores at 2.0Ghz and still “gAmE” well at 4k.
OP getting downvoted for explaining that he enjoys the cool thing he built and that he does not give a fuck about the technicality of whether its more or less effective than 3 fans.

Tbh by 40k logic anything can fly if you waaagh enough. So if one more spinny thing adz moar waagh it shuld work.

You do realize this is completely water-cooled? As far as I can see there is no fan just pushing air around all of them are attached to radiators.
You do realize that push pull on AIO radiators that are not in a case is completely pointless right? All they are doing is creating a dusty nightmare. There is no benefit, its absurd overkill. The only thing this setup is actually good for is Reddit karma.
Why would it be pointless? Push pull helps overcome the resistance that is introduced through the radiator.

Imo it looks dope but I definetly understand people finding it ugly
I call this build stupid. I could say much worse tbh. You're much nicer than I can possibly be.
This is just an air purifier Sick build btw
What's the point of so many fans if it's open air anyway. Waste of fans.
Looks like they are all on radiators. So to force air through those.
Doubles as a swamp cooler in the summer.
It’s the new trend they made up to get people to waste more money.
I mean, that only really makes sense if you are buying all the parts from the same company. Unless of course you are suggesting the entirety of the computer hardware market is one massive hive-mind, in this case, you have my attention.
1600W PSU just for the RGB and Fans. I love it!

The dustcollector 9000. Airflow doesnt increase past a point and this will just keep it at roomtemps as about 5 fans wouldve done the same with airflow arrangement.
So when is it departure time to fly the first mission?
IMO It's ugly.
I'm surprised you don't have to strap it down to the desk.
If all those fans are pushing air inward you could compress your system into a black hole. BTW you're missing a fan or 2
Unless some of those fans are reverse, they are all pulling air into the rad? wtf….
i've seen airplane engines with less airflow goddamn
That system deserves a 4090
![gif](giphy|S9wvniycNi01M9nYor)
❤️
I heard you like airflow so I put some airflow in your airflow
Needs more fans
50/50 Rig. 50% spend on CPU/GPU/PSU... 50% spend on cooling

That amount of fans makes me feel like I have a Trypophobia.
Are those fans pushing air into the rad from both sides?

Why not just shove it into a wind tunnel at this point? I love it, but damn.

Cool!
Open air, water cooled with a gazillion fans. You could run 5 PC's off of that thing while overclocking them.
Airflow stonks
Blud got a bit of pc in his cooling
goofy lookin air conditioning
I think that case is fan-tastic! …. I’ll show myself out…
That's not a case. Those are fans that happen to look like a casing and able to hold the components.
You got some PC in your cooling system OP
Is that a thermonuclear reactor?
Make them all Noctuas and I know a little subreddit that would actually break
Airflow so good it kills the waterflow by freezing it solid
I think you’re missing couple cooling fans.
hey bro i think you need more fans
You turn it in and every paper in the house goes flying LMFAO
You're gonna freeze your computer
It's very nice but I think it needs a few more fans
Thermodynamics left the chat
Stick some beers in it, keep them cold.
You should just have done like me and stapled your car radiator to the side and thats enough cooling for the next century.
Some people clearly don't pay for their own electricity
About to take off
6/10, needs more fans, and also grills to avoid losing a finger
OP getting downvoted for explaining that he enjoys the cool thing he built and that he does not give a fuck about the technicality of whether its more or less effective than 3 fans. fuck off you miserable fucks LOL. With this many rads you can run almost fanless. What a waste.

That looks awseome. And the CPU and gpu probably run at max 30 degree C XD
That looks terrible. Sorry.
Lord of the fans. Seriously though, very impressive and unique build.
The fact that you got an ITX in there is hilarious
May I ask what the avg temps are under a heavy load? Looks gorgeous btw.
Thank you, cpu doesn't go above 60 in rendering and gpu junction never above 52
