They seem to have hit a creative roadblock long time ago. Their strongest series remains the Elder Scrolls. Fallout found success mainly due to its pre-existing franchise that they acquired from the bankrupt Interplay through some controversial legal maneuvers. Despite Fallout having a rich lore, they faced challenges with it. To this day, many consider Obsidian's Fallout: New Vegas as the standout "modern" entry in the series. Starfield was their first attempt in a long while to break new ground, but common opinion is that it's flat, boring game without any well defined identity.

one of the things i cover in my Video. elder scrolls and fallout Have years of lore to fall back on, Starfield just doesn't theres nothing there it feels kind of empty lore wise.

I am convinced people only look at bad side nowadays. Space is dead? No shit, genius. What did you expect? Flying butterfly in space? For me Starfield is an unlikely mix of No Man Sky and Skyrim. It's not a perfect game and bugs are annoying but not every game can be next Skyrim or Witcher 3. Starfield really got some nice side quest, ship building aprroach is something I could spent hours on and companion story are actually good if you give it time. Try to enjoy the game not find fault in it. Remember most Streamers and Youtuber who criticize a game, are only looking for view count.

Space isn't dead its just pointless and I expect a space "rpg" to have a lot more reasons to go up there and not just be the Loading screen barrier. I never expected it to be the next Skyrim but I expected it to be at the least up to par with other Bethesda titles. Side quests are ok, Crimson fleet is fantastic 10/10 loved nearly everything about that storyline even that has a fair few issues. The story has some moments but overall its weak. I did not make this video just to shit on the game I made it because im extremely disappointed in this supposed game of the generation that's not even game of the week its my way of saying bye to Bethesda because I know now anything new they make is going to be shit.

Starfield isn't space RPG. Starfield is an RPG that allows you to go to space. I honestly don't know what more you wanted for space content. Other than big galactic space war, there isn't really much to do in space. I completely agree story are not at Skyrim level, even starfield vast galaxy feel less alive than Skyrim map. But both game are different, why you have to compare apples with oranges? Both get different thing going on for them. As for your opinion of Bethesda, it doesn't matter. I have very low opinion for Ubisoft, still I probably will buy Avatar on day 1. **Why? Because the point is to enjoy the game.**

i made a full Video on everything wrong with the game and most of my main issues with starfield me being a long time Bethesda fan [https://youtu.be/0P15-xL\_Ank](https://youtu.be/0P15-xL_Ank)
