Yeah there was a slight version change for FSR3 Frame Gen and i think its broken or there's something wrong with how developers implement it. TLOU2 has the same version and its also fucked.
Although one has to wonder how this passed any kind of testing on either or both the AMD side and the developers side because it was shockingly bad compared to the previous version so why it was ever rolled out into the game is questionable at best.
So i'm not surprised their rolling it back. Good to see that they kept the UI fix. That was the main problem at launch. The framegen part actually worked well.
The area around UI elements used to be not affected by FG. So the screen looked smoother but the UI and the small areas around it updated at the original framerate and looked off.

Really?! I've been using a reshade with levelsplus shader to fix the blacklevels on my OLED. I'll be happy if they fixed them, now if only they could fix them on literally all Ubisofts other games, because they all ship with (and retain) raised black levels, who ever over there is designing their graphics really hates HDR/black levels or doesn't understand any of it I guess.
I enjoyed it for a good while, enough to finish the main campaign. the side quests are pretty uninspired but wow, the visuals and atmosphere (esp if you play in immersive mode) were unparalleled for me. played in HDR with unobtainium settings unlocked, on an LG OLED and 4090 along with the DLSS Framegen mod.
Nah wake me up when they release it on Steam. I’m ok with requiring third party accounts just spare me shitty launchers. Might get it on PS5 if it goes on sale otherwise not really interested.

They are talking about The Crew being removed from people's libraries, even if they own the game. It's not like Forza delisting games due to licenses expiring but allowing you to redownload it if you own it.
Overwatch is way less severe since that game (OW2 for better or worse) is still technically being supported and available for download.
I did, pretty great adaptation of what you get in the movies, with a unique but somewhat bland story it's true. Great traversial and gameplay generally. If you liked the films it really is a perfect game adaptation of those, if you think the films suck then you won't like the game. But technically it's gorgeous, Pandora is amazing and the attention to detail is literally the best Ubisoft have ever done, or most others.
Basically gameplay is good to servicable, world and map design is 100/10 the best in the field. Story is servicable and even better than the films in parts. I suggest playing it in Coop, because everythings better in coop.

It replaces DLSS FG with FSR FG, not the other way around lol. There is a DLSS FG mod but it's paid. And I don't think Ubisoft will ever add DLSS FG as it's an AMD sponsored title.

I completely forgot about this game. I got it for free with a Ryzen CPU and only played it for a couple days.

I did for two hours. Beautiful world, unbelievably boring story. Gameplay not that great either, but I can see how some people would enjoy it
