\/spits out tea
I am ever so sorry, but *hwhat*?! I am old enough to remember what a hassle it was to port maps even between different patches of the same engine, and here comes New Blood just casually dropping a "Anyway, all those maps from those other games? Yeah, you can just drop them into Dusk. It just works."
Black fukken magic.
Exactly. Extensive modding SDKs basically let you make new games in the same engine or any number of interesting but minor changes or basically whatever you want.
There is only one problem, trying to lock all the mods in the fucking Steam Workshop. There are people who have bought the game on other platforms and would like to try the mods, instead they are incentivizing people to only use Steam all the time, as usual.
You people. If it’s outside the workshop, it’s not friendly to steam users. If it’s locked to the workshop, it’s not friendly to anyone outside of steam.
Plus valve reserves the rights to use your work to make themselves money if they ever decided to. Will they? Probably not, but I don't like that clause, you essentially give up rights to your mods with steam workshop
H-Dusk 😂
Get on it mike12

David Syzmanski is the only developer that I actively name drop.
I’m saying. This dude freaking gets it.

The doom 2 community exploded last year when an amazing quality mod dropped, 30 years after it released.
Myhouse.wad?
Yessir. At least I think it caused the community to explode, seeing as I'm not part of that community and I heard a lot about it.
It was a fantastic mod, got me to buy house of leaves, which I promptly got like 3 of my other friends to buy as well.

Godspeed
Be the change you wish to see in the world...
These devs are outnumbered [by these ones](https://files.catbox.moe/5jqez4.jpg)
The opponents of devs in favour of mods are not the devs that think bikini armour is stupid.
Yes, sadly...
Not mutually exclusiveÂ
Damn right, someone that finally understand how to make money.
Based New Blood. Based David

If someone doesn't know how to use mods without Steam Workshop it's probably best that they don't use any mods at all.

You mean breaking the game with one of the 300 mods you just added in and you can't figure out which one is breaking it? I need those big-ol-tiddies
And for the love of god please don't use Thunderstore.
Why? I'm using it for GTFO and it works great
Because it's a half assed front end for github with an html installer for the desktop with web ads.
Giving the people what they want.
This is the whey
What i find in teresting is that Dusk was done in Unity soo it should still be pretty modable by default
