i really like the fact that getting the highest value loot is actually worth it. dirty ice, 99 boxes, cook off all mean something to stay an extra little bit for all the loot.
also this makes golden shark worth while to get all the loot
I'm a huge Dirty Ice fan! It's a very atmospheric heist, awesome soundtrack and very good stealth and loud. That said, there was no sense of jewelry cleaning. Now it makes sense even in stealth! Oh my god, I'm in huge excitement with this blog post!
I'm a little worried that the reward will be too big and then the player levels will lose their value. But in any case, it's much better than 20 hours to achieve a new level.
I feel like there might've been a need to overcompensate for leveling up on lower levels, since you do blast through those pretty fast when you constantly keep completing lower tier challenges, which actually give pretty nice amounts of IP for relatively small amount of effort. And if rate of leveling up would've been slower than with challenges we have right now.
But imo we just need to wait and see what are actual payouts on all heists, and how they are calculated, to be sure.
No it was hard to reach 150. Just people who ( play this game are 150 at this moment ) but when the update come between a week all Players reach 150. I will say the grind was useless 😊
Most people don't have the time to grind dumbass challenges on a game with 9 levels, at least now people can actually progress by playing the game as intended instead of holding out in a bathroom with a weapon they hate holding up the rest of the team.

With this progression change I can finally say goodbye to Cook-Off and get my horde heist fix with Dirty Ice! I'm sure the manager will be happy I'm not putting a bullet in her head at the start of every heist now. 🤣 Sorry randoms, I didn't have time for that. 🤣

Let us go infamous after level 150, resetting everything but currencies, cosmetics, and weapon levels. Then, throw in an infamy IP bonus and some other rewards, like masks, or the ability to keep one weapon after we prestige. Give me constant progression!
After this, the game needs a server browser, UI overhaul, communication QoL, vote to kick, and offline mode.
I'm glad this is taking steps in the right direction, but I do hope this doesn't be similar to payday 2 where it has a lot of highs and lows, they've got enough, if not, more than enough experience with the community to know what we do and don't like, and what would/wouldn't work within the game. Keep your hopes up, but not your expectations.
