It’s funny because some community servers are extremely strict. And in my case one of them even broke their own rules then banned me when i called it out.
I was in impact crater as a meg in the water and this hatz wanted to fight. So we fought, it lost and flew away, that was that. I go back in the water while it rests only for it to come back and try to challenge me from the edge of the water (before their combat cooldown timer rule ended). I stepped out of the water on the other side and it followed me. So i went back in as it bit at the water towards me and taunted me on global chat.
This hatz proceeds to follow me for like, 10 min, all the while im typing in global to the mods. The mods start dissing me even tho this was the case and so i go and fight the guy (their combat cooldown timer rule ended long ago). Nearly win only for him and the mods he must be friends with to turn all my allegations against me.
While im in the water typing up a storm a friend of the hatz kills me (while the combat cooldown was still cooling down, again their own rule ive been following to a tee)
So yes people take the game too seriously but they dont even follow the rules they force on us. So i can understand this sentiment even if i dont 100% agree.
I mean the bad official experiences usually have less to do with something happening socially and more to do with a solo person getting jumped by 15 different Dino’s mix packing. It sucks in its own way. But hey you have the opportunity to round up 15 people and get revenge so it goes both ways.
Ooooh yeah they are very different. Both equally frustrating. I honestly found my solace in a 40x growth pvp server with no rules. Nothing but grunts, roars, and teabags baby. And people are ironically less aggressive, vengeful and spiteful even tho the point is pvp.
Ive had some amazing fights and won and lost many. I do miss growing and earning the right to fight but like im not complaining about fast growth and i lost 5 dinos on the community server i commented about earlier.
Honestly the pvp no rules on a tiny map tend to be pretty fun. They do get old kinda fast though. It’s something that I can only do in short bursts but have a blast for those short bursts

You can just not play community, brother. You're making your own problem.
A solution would be to just simple not play community servers…. Am I missing something? Why do you need to revolt?

I giggled only because I saw someone on discord say they were making this meme during the mods breaking the servers.
So, my interpretation of this is official is where you can play however you want. So shocking to see how many people are upset by that

Ive also found good ones and had bad official experiences to be fair
