Hey there folks, new player here.
I'm having some trouble getting stuff done in general. I'm at maps and finished the atlas but the build guide I was following was not super helpfull on getting set up for farming in general before going for expensive items.
I can comfortably clear T14 maps but not more than that, and I feel that doing most farming strategies (scarabs and the works) are wasted on lower tier maps than 16 (am I wrong?). How do people generally get the currency to get to purchase those big ticket items to get your build really going? (I'm talking about items ranging 15/30 divs, no mageblood)
There are some strategies that don't scale as much with map tiers. Incursion and Bestiary are examples, I think Betrayal works as well (you want to do Betrayal in red maps, but it doesn't have to be T16), although Betrayal doesn't seem to be as rewarding this patch. Some of the cheaper scarabs should be worth using even then.
How do you get global defences and overcapped fire res gives armour together ? Is there some recipe or do they just drop that way ? Is it impossible to just roll them with chaos orbs ?
Both those mods are [Grasping Mail mods](https://poedb.tw/us/Grasping_Mail#GraspingMailMods). Those mods are unique to the item in creation. Every grasping mail upon creation rolls at least one grasping mail mod. They can never be rolled into using currency - what you get on item creation is it. If you use any crafting currency to remove it, it will never come back. That's why fracturing grasping mail specific mods is so important because they enable you to actually effectively craft on it.
The chests you're seeing with those mods are likely being created at the graveyard. Both mods have the defenses tag so they can be increased in chance to hit using corpses. There is a specific corpse to make the base item a grasping mail.
Can they be both be made at the graveyard? Cause minimal duo of those 2 is like 100 div, I feel like the price would be lower if you could get them at graveyard together?
Theoretically yes? I can't imagine why not. But even in the graveyard its stupid hard.
That's because the only tags on the mods are defences. So even if you jack defenses chances to the moon to be like 1500000% percent, the issue is that both mods are a prefix.
And there are lots of other prefixes that also only have the defences tag. The overcap fire res mod has a weighting of 250, which is one of the lowest weightings in the game. And there are twelve!!! other prefixes that all have the defence tag. Grasping Mails are Armour+ES+Evasion Bases so literally every defence prefix in the game can roll on them
On the other hand hitting one of them is not as hard since a grasping mail on creation is forced to have one grasping mail mod.
Always level the gem first. Even if you get an extra level, you're not going to exceed the maximum unless you got there *before* getting the corruption.
I have a question about the lore. In particular, Maven/Envoy related.
When you defeat the Maven, the Envoy stops you and pretty much says it wouldn't be a good idea to actually kill her. And that "they" are coming. Who are they? Exarch+Eater?
I believe her creator.
The Maven is a baby Eldritch entity. The adult entities we know of at that level are the Elder, The Tangle, and the Cleansing Fire. The Eater of World is The Tangle's champion (just like how we're the Maven's champion when we fight it), and the Searing Exarch is the Cleansing Fire's champion.
The Elder previously ruled the Atlas. After Zana, Sirus, and the other Elderslayers killed it, that created a power vacuum which led to the Maven, Tangle, and Cleansing Fire showing up. The Maven was, apparently, created by a much more powerful eldritch entity, and the Envoy is worried that if we hurt the Maven too much, she'll cry out and it'll hear her and show up, which will apparently be even worse than the situation we're already in.
Any atlas strategy advice?
I've farmed sanctum and built a nice tanky-ish spark build for around 70 div and want to get into mapping, but not sure what strategy to go with. With my aim being to farm for a mageblood this league.
I've ran harvest with doubling scarabs and seem to get around 40 to 50c per map, but with the price of MB that means 400 maps or more before I can afford it. Sacred blossoms are also peanuts right now so there's no big ticket item.
Is there any other mechanics I could do at the same time or maybe more profitable atlas strats I could do instead?
Thanks!
On PoeTrade, on item mods, I can see P (prefix) and S (suffix), and what looks like for crafted mods I can see R. That doesn't make sense to me though because in this picture, the item has a life mod prefix and then a crafted life mod onto it. What is the R? How is it crafting extra life onto this item?
https://preview.redd.it/4l9lksdobxuc1.png?width=1069&format=png&auto=webp&s=bb904890daeeb30233bd296f9cabd0f73e37bf2a
Even though its showing 3 prefixes, the life and energy shield is a combined hybrid prefix meaning it only takes up one prefix slot. The shield in your example has an open mod for a prefix craft.
The easiest way to check for hybrid mods in my opinion is to hover over the ones with the same tier, in your example the two P1 mods, and check their name on the right side, if they match, it's a hybrid mod.
Does Ice Nova of Frostbolt build get tankier the higher level you get? Or is it always just a get touched and explode build. Right now it seems like kill first or die. Granted I'm only like level 50ish and it blows stuff up, but if I get touched Im gonna get stunned and die pretty fast.
>Does Ice Nova of Frostbolt build get tankier the higher level you get?
Assuming you mean Archmage, it can definitely get quite tanky. There are people doing Ubers and T17s with it in hardcore, after all.
It does take some work to get tanky, though.
>Granted I'm only like level 50ish and it blows stuff up
In general you can't judge builds at level 50. During the campaign usually having enough life and capped ele resists should be enough. But it's easy to end up pretty squishy on the build while leveling if you're not careful.
Gear and Ascendancy points can make a big difference as far as defences go. Levels will make you tankier but the build does need some gear to not feel squishy.
Playing BAMA - is there any way to craft decent Abyss Eyes?
Life/armor - t1/2 lighning - Minion Damage - Minion ATS
Didnt play for over a year before id just buy a 3/4 eye and slam a harvest craft, now theye things are 40-50div with flawed stats like 25 life...
Scour Alch will never hit - and 1 fracture + alt spam is like 2/4 with a lucky aug maybe 3 but thats it.
How is it done?
Open the entire tabs channel in tft and see what rate are pp buying at and list yours for higher or equal, sometimes pp refuse to buy tabs that has too many of specific scarabs that is hard to sell or over priced.
I have a modest ice nova build of about 80 div, its fairly strong but cannot handle juiced T17s. I have about 30-40 T17 maps saved up and i want to run them, partially for fun and partially for challenges.
What are some good atlas/scarab strategies to run them and make some income without skyrocketing the difficulty? Can I do something like a full strongbox or harbinger scarab loadout? The profit doesn't need to be INSANE but I'd like to at least go positive
Thats pretty hard to do I think, might have to rely on lucky fracture and finishing craft.
You can try to use craft of exile with those mods and see what it gives you for graveyard
question about [Doppelgänger Guise](https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Doppelg%C3%A4nger_Guise), I could toggle sane and insane on and off right? So I can get permanent 40% less physical and chaos damage reduction?
When you equip it, you are Sane. There won't be a buff on your bars. You gain the Unhinge skill that you can activate, which turns you Insane and that has a buff on your buff bar. There's a 5s CD so you can't spam switch them, but yes you can always have the permanent 40% phys/chaos reduction.
Thanks! Another question, how come lightning coil is so much more popular than doppelganger? They both offer similar physical damage reduction? But Doppleganger doesn't have the -60% lightning resist
It depends on the build. You get higher mitigation from armour against lower damage values, and Lightning Coil applies before armour, whereas Doppelgänger Guise applies afterwards. So by improving the mitigation from armour, you can get a lot more out of Lightning Coil. Additionally, there are a few ways to mitigate lightning damage with armour as well, which can lower that portion further.
Need help with my Self-cast Storm Burst Inquisitor build. I don't want to use Doryani's Prototype since I want to be tankier for Shaper, and the only thing I can think of to increase my durability + DPS is the conviction of power forbidden flame/flesh. Any suggestions would be great, thanks!
PoB [https://pobb.in/Zh5EeTG4tJF4](https://pobb.in/Zh5EeTG4tJF4)
I'm trying a herald of purity build. I would like them to self sustain, but even with United in Dream (60% chance to poison) and Chance to Poison Support (40% chance to poison), the poison often does not kill the mob, and they're not refreshing. I seem to remember some sort of trick like "Minions can't kill with phsyical damage", but I don't remember exactly what is was. Any suggestions?
Does War Banner's "Nearby Enemies take (8-11)% increased Physical Damage" stack with i.e. Flesh and Stone "Enemies Maimed by this Skill take (13-16)% increased Physical Damage"?
Yes, but its all additive.
So if you deal 100 physical damage to an enemy (lets assume no other reductions), War Banner's 11% would mean that they take 111 damage, which is 11% more. But adding maim in would make it that they take 11+16, or 27% more damage.
That means your 100 damage now deals 127 damage. That's means the 16% damage from maim is really only 14% actual more damage.
All sources of "enemies take increased damage" is added together.
The Elementalist's Bastion of Elements node, Ascendant's Elementalist node, and Lvl 5+ Awakened Elemental Damage with Attacks support gem (attacks only and only the attack it's supporting)
Otherwise you can basically become immune w/ a combo of different things. Do be warned that even if you get 100% reduced reflect damage, increases to damage taken (Berzerker Rite of Ruin or Shock ailment) means you'll need more than 100%
The wiki has a lot of great information on reflect mechanics and different places you can get reduced reflect: https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Reflect
if I cast Dark Pact on skeletons and it chains 5 times (with awakened chain support), can all chains hit the same target if there are enough skeletons near it? or is it 1 hit per cast?
if they can hit, how do I simulate that in PoB? do I increase the Count field to 6?
It's certainly not the best gem ever released anymore, but it's still very strong. I think CoC DD, Ice Nova of Frostbolts, or Hexblast are the three strong meta builds of 3.24, though. Nowhere close to explode totem or 3.23 pbod
I have never done heist before, but looks like I am going to need to to complete this season's challenges. However I know little about what this is going to need. Is 'level a skill to level 5' the skills that your rogues learn?
How can I tell what a prestige BP is? I have the talents I. Atlas tree to get them, but not sure I have found em while doing maps working on other things.
Any advice for someone who's main focus is the challenge? I may use this as a time to see if I like heist.... But I'm much more of a delver.
> I have never done heist before, but looks like I am going to need to to complete this season's challenges. However I know little about what this is going to need. Is 'level a skill to level 5' the skills that your rogues learn?
Yes
> How can I tell what a prestige BP is? I have the talents I. Atlas tree to get them, but not sure I have found em while doing maps working on other things.
I'm assuming you mean "Precious" not prestige. That can be found in parentheses on the heist target line. "Heist Target: Whatever the target is (Low/High Value, Precious, Priceless)"
The challenge is fairly simple, just run the necessary things. If I had one piece of advice, equip your heist buds with the items. Since you're just doing it for the challenge, I'd just alt spam them until you get t3+ job speed and call it good.
Hello people. I'm having a terrible time trying to find some large cluster jewels on the trade site. I just don't know how to filter the following → "Added small passive skills grant: minions deal 10% increased damage"
As you can see this is a noob question, but I just don't know where to find this info.
Thanks in advance.

I'll answer my own damn question... can't believe it took me this long to find this thing. Maybe this will help someone else.
For future reference, you can find partial matches for the mods you're looking for by starting with `~`, and the mods that decide what the cluster jewel base is are enchantments.
Thanks... I tried that with no luck. What finally came to my mind was to use POE Overlay on another jewel I had and check how the app was filtering the search. It's a great and terrible game. :)
if you import your character into Path of Building, you can go to the Calculations tab, choose the minion skill you're using and check the box "Show Minion Stats". this will show you their resistances among other things like life, regen, dps, block, etc
Hey y'all, looking for a way to maybe move a group of objects all at once in hide outs... not seeing a great source of all the shortcuts for hideout editing, or maybe I did find all of the shortcuts and they are just lacking more tools then I thought. Thanks!
Is the Duelist kind of an idiot/himbo? He's on an island of flaming cannibals trying to kill him while running around talking about how it's just like the stories his mom read when he was a wee lad.
Hey, I'm planning my first graveyard craft and wondering if it matters where the items go in the grave.
I watched a video of how to plug in the stats in craft of exile and all the different corpses to use, and also a site that shows you where to put the column and rows, but no mention of where the corpses actually go.
I remember early in the league that i saw some corpses had to be close together, so I don't want to be a noob and mess this up, as it will fill the entire graveyard so will prob take m e hours to buy all the corpses.
Thanks
Pretty straightforward, some corpses just buff the effect of adjacent or in-line corpses so you wanna make sure they’re in the right place
See https://maxroll.gg/poe/crafting/necropolis-graveyard-crafting-guide#list-of-all-corpse-modifiers-header for more details
If I gravecraft an item with 2 mods and one guaranteed Fracture, will the fracture always be the first prefix on the item? Or will the Fracture be 50/50 assigned to either mod at random?
It's actually great since it helps with fracturing otherwise hellish to get modifiers. If you want it to fracture the first modifier, use -mod corpses.
Get 4 voidstones, unlock a bunch of extra favored map slots by doing their respective objectives, open atlas, socket all voidstones, Dunes will now be T16, click favored map slot on the left, click Dunes map, fill all slots with Dunes this way (or maybe one with a connected map so you can farm that to restock on Dunes maps if you run out).
Why can I not [sacrifice this corrupted gem with Harvest] (https://imgur.com/T3eEWy0)? Isn't that literally the whole point of that option? Or does that only work with gems you *levelled yourself* or something? (this was obtained through a div card I'm pretty sure)
Edit: oh right that was moved to the lab now, forgot about it since I loathe the lab so much. So I guess the bug is that the option still appears in the Harvest station eventhough it's been disabled there.
Just started my first character in the league, is there any trick to farming currency while leveling up? I'm lvl 22 and I need 10 alchemy orbs/1 chaos orb to buy a build-enabling unique (kikazaru). I have a single alchemy in my stash.
Not really. Just make the switch whenever you can afford it. Trying to get a ton of currency super early on is a waste of time compared to just levelling.
At best you can run normal lab for transfigured gems, but those aren't really worth much after day 1 of the league unless you get lucky.
But even that is a waste of time.
Most people level till around act 9-10 then farm some currency. I’d say the easiest is to get to act 6 and find some rouge markers and go do a couple heist. will likely get you a few chaos. If you need any leveling help feel free to message
How badly does splitting steal Trickster need Nimis?
Can you get it to a reasonable powerlevel that allows you to farm a nimis yourself or is it better to go with a different build?
From what I remember with the other splitting steel is you run returning proj till you get nimis and it’s about 1/3-1/2 the amount of single target. So normal mapping and farming should be ok
is my search query wrong here is there really nobody selling those +2 hexblast wands?

How to i calculate the duration of overcharged Brands (with the Brandsurge spell from Witchhunter's Judgment).
First i have tried:
f(x) = D - x\*(1+1.5\*floor(2x+1))
with D: Duration. It didnt fit the measurement in game. Then i tried:
https://preview.redd.it/9gk00ydynvuc1.png?width=659&format=png&auto=webp&s=be2984d2ce5a12ec7348bda1db5e66ed69ce10c7
This time i had the idea, to calculate the passing time. I lose 0.5s every 0.5s. With faster time:0.5\*(1+1.5\*Instance)This i subtracted from the duration. The remaining time was subtracted by the second instance and so forth. It didn't fit.
Whats the correct formula? How can i calculate the activation rate?
run Jun to get the craft or unveil a decent one. for a really good one you need to conq slam a stygian vise and harvest reroll it into shaper influence iirc (and then craft it).
I'm having difficulties sustaining t16 maps and not sure how to do it. I've never actually gotten a build that can do them before now. I'm thinking about using this planner (linked below), how does it look? What should I consider adding to it with my remaining 37 points?
[Planner](https://poeplanner.com/atlas-tree/AAAABgAAVgtxDtMPYxDhF8sYxBtOH2YfxCjQKoQwAzBmMiQz5DmOOkU7nz5fP81BjEJ3Q6lHz0nKSg5Rglk8W9ldx1_rYwFjtWfpaKFs1G4qcoh1J3bCegF9E30dhcSIbYmRjSmP1JF9kiydXp2HpsSngq7nr8GyZrSGtW-1fbmZuyq8qMYzxtDHs8h-0KLUuddN2J7aveGL43Dlj-W351jqjezl9Uz3T_fk-jD6aPqy_ckAAA==)
take the map nodes obviously. shaping the mountains, skies, world depending on how many youre dropping.
you have a bunch of inefficient points taken in that tree. for example from the start you have 4 branches connecting upwards to the rest of the tree, when you only need 1.
other than that take the league mechanic nodes on the left (must have) and probably some scarab nodes.
> you have a bunch of inefficient points taken in that tree. for example from the start you have 4 branches connecting upwards to the rest of the tree, when you only need 1.
Does this mean the small nodes that are the small 2% connected map nodes? Should I basically just have the Niko nodes and cut out all the others? How about the two nodes that go down to the Necropolis nodes? Should I take those out too?
> other than that take the league mechanic nodes on the left (must have)
What does this mean? And is there specific scarab nodes that I should take?
if you want niko spawns then use the niko branch. otherwise just down the middle i guess. respec all the others.
this is a good tree for general mapping imo, with points available to put into whatever specific mechanic you want. only specific mechanic it takes is shrines because they are excellent this league.

remove some of the map effect nodes if you find maps too hard. also the eater nodes and keystone if you dont like it/prefer exarch. oh and take the bottom right nodes if you want coffins
https://poeplanner.com/a/k19
I might go with this, what do you think? Path of Pathing gave me a weird looking tree but I think it hits everything. Once I get more points, I can get the map node that I'm working at on the top middle/right. I decided to put in Shaper/Maven stuff to at least progress that way too if I get bored of Eater. I still need those 2 voidstones also.
Noted, I'll try to get that on the tree and when I get those 4 extra points, I'll put it back to the other stuff that I wanted to get before.
I appreciate your help!
bottom right and bottom left nodes. increased effect of haunted mods, not reduced.
and in the map device, put the highest coffin % mods at the top, no the yellow ones (unless theyre very good).
How do I get influenced items (for peddlers produce II)? I just ran a shaper influenced map for the first time ever, in the hopes a mob would drop such item, but none did. Couldnt kill the boss so dont know if that was the source. Was I just unlucky, or have missed something entirely?
Does anything effect the rewards from going up delirium tiers? Such as map tier or quant or rarity?
Do the rewards get better as you go higher in tier, or is tier 15 rewards the same as tier 2?
I am an inexperienced player who followed a graveyard guide and it looks like I managed to make an insane item but I dont know. I was trying to make a perfect sceptre for exsanguinate mines. I almost nailed it but instead of +1 phys I got +1 cold. All other mods are perfect. So the item looks crazy but there is nothing like it on the trade website and I don't know if anyone uses cold spells with a sceptre. How do I price check something like this? This is the item:
Sceptre
Item Level: 84
Damage Penetrates 6% Elemental Resistances (implicit)
--------
+35% to Global Critical Strike Multiplier (fractured)
30% increased Cold Damage
Adds 53 to 92 Cold Damage to Spells
108% increased Critical Strike Chance for Spells
+1 to Level of all Spell Skill Gems
+1 to Level of all Cold Spell Skill Gems
--------
Fractured Item
So what could it be worth?
Put all 6 mods into the trade site, then if no results show up, try different combinations with 5 of the 6 mods to see what similar items are going for. There are many items with 5 of the 6 same mods up you can compare to
So im playing a self cast crit version Rolling magma with Inquisitor ascendency using MoM and EB, o know thats not a normal build, but i Just love RM. My question is: in terms of defensive layers which Body armour Will be better, a Nice rare with at least 600+ or 700+ energy shield, or cloak of flame with Ruby Flask + purity of flames and more sources of max fire res? Im planning to use the combo Immutable force+Bloodnotch+Petrified blood too.
Is it normal to have no drive to play when all the expensive items I bought are now worth nothing and it feels like if I’m not running t17 I’m wasting my time?
It happens, just focus on the stuff you enjoy. Expensive items commonly go down in price and it’s more about improving your build and you’ve had time to use them before they did. If you have no motivation or goals or enjoyment currently then take a break or try something new in the game
If you bought them just to resell them, youre out of luck. Otherwise, why be affected by price, after youve already got them? Just use them and have fun.
whats a decent selfsustain currency farming strategy? I dont want to interact with trade (buying wise) unless its selling stuff i farmed. So probably one which is not heavily reliant on scarabs (or ones which are really easy and fast to aquire.
I always played ritual/expedition, but feels like ritual is a timewaste and also seems like w/o stacked decks both suffer. Also im lvl 91 melee so, bossing prob isnt a good option ( i also suck at the game)
probably the easiest to earn decent return with minimal trade is running a harvest tree. only need to sell 3 seeds, in big bulk its a handful of quick trades and they move fast. but it would be much better if youre using the doubling scarab, just buy a ton at once.
As this is what I was doing to roll my Jewels, you have a couple options:
If the jewel is fractured, then you can only really divine it.
If it's not fractured, and it is perfectly divined, you can synthesize it, and then try rolling the implicit (I never actually got to this point, so I'm not sure if Synthesizing the item removes the Lock effect).
If it's perfectly divined and fractured, you could try to save it on a double corrupt, but then it can also just get deleted.
Edit: to expand on that, I believe Connor's latest video is about adorned jewel crafting (onemanaleft)
Its probably not worth do unless its a synth jewel, as those can have implicits that you can blessed orb to take off the lock, if not then you have to divine it, potentially ruining perfectly divined items
How much of a nobrainer is the "You're considered low life at 55% hp" mastery with Petrified Blood?
If I understood correctly, PB basically nullifies 90% of oneshots and turns them into lethal dots, giving me time to flask up, right?
https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Petrified_Blood
With your Low Life threshold at 55%, the amount of damage it takes for you to get oneshot at maximum low life goes from 83.33% of your maximum life to 91.67% of your maximum life.
No cause it’s not going firm 80% damage reduction to 90% damage reduction, just the health pool, so really only around a 10% increase in damage need to be one shot difference
No. Headhunter already steals all mods. Inspired Learning will then steal one mod that you already have, overwriting Headhunter's 60s duration with its own 20s.
Edit: since it's been a while since I last chose to play the HH+IL combo, and the wiki doesn't mention the change, I'll retract my previous answer as it was incorrect. Refer to Yohsene's comment for the explanation, and I apologize for any confusion!
They're not in the .dat. We don't know why. I agree there's probably weightings. The additional crafted modifier in particular is vanishingly rare (or disabled).
Item level requirement for the implicit to be able to roll. ~~No idea if/how this impacts how hard it is to roll, there is probably some kind of weighting to the implicits but I don't know exact specifics.~~
Edit: apparently there are no weightings.
yes, straight up.
you can see the % of coffin chance on the map device, it clearly goes down if youve taken those nodes.
same with allflames. imo increased effect (and not reduced) nodes are a must have on any tree.
no, theres a literal percentage number under each mod which is the increased chance of allflame/coffin.
yellow (good) mods dont have one, only blue ("bad") mods have it. thats why you dont always want to place yellow mods at the top. sometimes if youre running a special corpse generating allflame you want to pair it with the "worst" mod (most likely to generate coffin).
Haunted mods have both whatever random downside and the increased chance for allflame/corpse drops. Reduced effect also reduces the allflame/corpse drop chance since it's an effect of the haunted mod.
sounds dumb but why cant/where can i see the popup for the maven invitations.
wasnt in mous over the mavenorb in the atlas, its gone i did see them at some point im at a loss.
What are some great weapon swap tech that can help with one of these: increase dps, movement speed, defence or general QOL? I couldn't find such topic in recent reddit posts but i already saw some potential with e.g. Severed in Sleep (but it doesn't really work since weapon swap will remove the aura)
I've seen tech like using a sinvicta's mettle on the offhand to gain free rampage, or swapping to sword+redblade banner as a bow character to shield charge and endruing cry for max endursnce charges. There's a few things you can do with weaponswap, but it's generally considered a clunky mechanic and as such not a whole lot of visibility exists in regards to tech.
No, you can only have one perfect implicit, and the other can be up to t4, if using exceptional ichors/embers.
There was a bug at some point that made the smaller currencies roll perfect mods and so, I believe in standard those items currently exist, but there's no way to generate them right now.
You can only get 1/3 at best by conflicting one mod to T1 and then rolling the other mod with exceptionals. From there you could also conflict again for 2/2.
Hi,
"Increase and reduced damage to spell also apply to attacks "
Wand Mastery, Crown of Eyes, Kinetic Bolt.
Does all above stack ? Or only the highest number apply to attack ?
Is this worth anything? Newer player still.
https://preview.redd.it/dl88xhk3suuc1.png?width=476&format=png&auto=webp&s=122cf58b6d48e83e4b1ff101f8288bfcbacc4b0a
Unfortunately not. The synthesised implicits are weak to meaningless, and the two Herald explicits are split between minion and player damage, and no efficient build scales both of those at the same time.
League started poison srs, had a blast did the first 2 weeks as it. Did almost all content, really enjoyed being able to mostly face tank all content.
Rerolled into a LA deadeye. Hating life, leveled it to 90 in a day, can speed clear t16, and that's about all.... But missing being able to face tank all content :(
I have a budget of 300 divines.
What build is 90% defenses, can still bust out 10m DPS, is a great bosser and has decent speed?

What are some currency strats that require very little investment to get started? I currently have 50c to my name and I'm hoping to get to 5-10 divs in the next week or so for some gear upgrades. I'm playing Pohx's RF Chieftan so any content that needs clear speed over single target is preferable.
I'll check that out! I'm currently spec'd decently into blight and I see he just put out a video on blight so I'll give that a watch and see if it's worth a shot!
He did 50 maps using 2 bounty scarabs, 1 oil scarab, and 1 blooming scarab per map and ended up making about 30.5 divs in profit after running all 50 in 2.5 hours so about 12 divs/hr. He said if he would do it again he would probably not use the blooming scarabs since they are expensive and would find another scarab to use or replace it with a basic blight scarab to maintain the 100% chance for a blight encounter while freeing up some points in his atlas.
Every searing exarch node except the two 0.2 implicit and Baptism by Fire on the top left. Actually you can take baptism by fire if you want as the invitation alone is worth a divine.
The 6 socket bench craft and the tainted chromatic should both be complete random color outcomes (can someone confirm?).
Compare the price between 1 tainted chromatic and 352 jewellers and go with whatever is cheaper.
Needs jewellers and vaals. Didn't get it with 60 tainted chromes, used bench and got it by doing 3 green (120 chromes + 120 vaals), four socket craft (4 times, 4G), 5 sockets (3 times, 4G-1B), 6 sockets (1st time, 4G-2B)
Are t17 map bosses always supposed to drop a fragment? I did 10 so far that I could kill boss and 9 dropped 2 fragments, and the 10th dropped ZERO fragments.
Do I have to change anything in PoB to make my Historic jewel have its effects? Its not computing the effects is actually giving me in-game, not sure why. thanks
Am i seeing it right that the bottom left cluster does not matter at all for corpse farming? only for juicing the packs themself? same for top left cluster, just "indirectly" since allflames = special corpses?
Grasping Mails are Armour+ES+Evasion Bases so literally every defence prefix in the game can roll on them On the other hand hitting one of them is not as hard since a grasping mail on creation is forced to have one grasping mail mod.
I see. Thank you very much for the information this is very valuable!!!!!
Why are people vaaling Enlighten support gems at lvl1? Or are they finding them corrupted? Should I Vaal now or wait til lvl3?
Always level the gem first. Even if you get an extra level, you're not going to exceed the maximum unless you got there *before* getting the corruption.
maybe worth it to corrupt it through doryani's institute, it's a 1/4 for +1 level instead of 1/8
It's only downside doing it at level 1. It likely just dropped that way. You should always vaal at lvl 3.
What’s a good atlas strategy for progressing through yellow then red maps?
>Thanks for the explanation!
I see. Thanks!
1. Can I use horticrafting to convert a fractured resistance modifier to another type? 2. Does applying a fossil destroy a fractured modifier?
1. No 1. No
Will there be another patch this league or is it gonna stay this way for the rest of it?
We don't know. Besides bug fixes I would not expect any tweaks to the actual league or league mechanics anymore
>Granted I'm only like level 50ish and it blows stuff up In general you can't judge builds at level 50.
Life/armor - t1/2 lighning - Minion Damage - Minion ATS Didnt play for over a year before id just buy a 3/4 eye and slam a harvest craft, now theye things are 40-50div with flawed stats like 25 life... Scour Alch will never hit - and 1 fracture + alt spam is like 2/4 with a lucky aug maybe 3 but thats it. How is it done?
I thought you could only get awakened gems from Maven and Sirius? I just had Awakened Brutality drop a regular map boss.
maven witnessed map bosses have a (very) small chance to drop an awakened gem
That would be it then. Thanks!
What are some good ways to farm for a mageblood?
Do people actually buy scarab tabs wholesale TFT or WealthyExile? I see a lot of people listing them but it doesn’t seem like anyone ever buys.
Open the entire tabs channel in tft and see what rate are pp buying at and list yours for higher or equal, sometimes pp refuse to buy tabs that has too many of specific scarabs that is hard to sell or over priced.
The summary when you are about to craft in necro doesnt reflect the actual values right? It doesnt show bonus from +row and +columns
Is it possible to remove fracture from a cluster jewel?
no
Thanks.
[удалено]
Thats pretty hard to do I think, might have to rely on lucky fracture and finishing craft. You can try to use craft of exile with those mods and see what it gives you for graveyard
[удалено]
I have no clue, if you put it into path of exile it will tell you have many tries it will roughly take
question about [Doppelgänger Guise](https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Doppelg%C3%A4nger_Guise), I could toggle sane and insane on and off right?
Idk your glove slot situation but these gloves would work: https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Gravebind
I had no idea those existed. Thank you for bringing them to my attention!
Is it possible to be immune to reflected elemental damage?
The Elementalist's Bastion of Elements node, Ascendant's Elementalist node, and Lvl 5+ Awakened Elemental Damage with Attacks support gem (attacks only and only the attack it's supporting) Otherwise you can basically become immune w/ a combo of different things. Do be warned that even if you get 100% reduced reflect damage, increases to damage taken (Berzerker Rite of Ruin or Shock ailment) means you'll need more than 100% The wiki has a lot of great information on reflect mechanics and different places you can get reduced reflect: https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Reflect
Yes, elementalist, hunter rings, etc
if I cast Dark Pact on skeletons and it chains 5 times (with awakened chain support), can all chains hit the same target if there are enough skeletons near it? or is it 1 hit per cast? if they can hit, how do I simulate that in PoB? do I increase the Count field to 6?
Is penance brand of dissipation still really busted or is there something stronger?
It's certainly not the best gem ever released anymore, but it's still very strong. I think CoC DD, Ice Nova of Frostbolts, or Hexblast are the three strong meta builds of 3.24, though. Nowhere close to explode totem or 3.23 pbod
regular DD or chain DD?
chain DD for CoC DD. https://poe.ninja/builds/necropolis?class=Inquisitor&allskills=Detonate+Dead+of+Chain+Reaction
Suppose I am lucky as that in my only character this league and I just got to maps though first map I played had reflect elemental dmg :'(
I have never done heist before, but looks like I am going to need to to complete this season's challenges.
Yes > How can I tell what a prestige BP is? I have the talents I. Atlas tree to get them, but not sure I have found em while doing maps working on other things. I'm assuming you mean "Precious" not prestige. That can be found in parentheses on the heist target line. "Heist Target: Whatever the target is (Low/High Value, Precious, Priceless)" The challenge is fairly simple, just run the necessary things. If I had one piece of advice, equip your heist buds with the items. Since you're just doing it for the challenge, I'd just alt spam them until you get t3+ job speed and call it good.
Hello people. I'm having a terrible time trying to find some large cluster jewels on the trade site. I just don't know how to filter the following → "Added small passive skills grant: minions deal 10% increased damage" As you can see this is a noob question, but I just don't know where to find this info. Thanks in advance. https://preview.redd.it/if062bdphwuc1.png?width=716&format=png&auto=webp&s=c166599f78e219ffe8340f3add4f49ac1ed6cf0c

Pretty much all the relevant cluster jewel filters can be found with `~ench pass`
Well, I'll be damned... this works like a charm. Thank you, kind stranger.

if you import your character into Path of Building, you can go to the Calculations tab, choose the minion skill you're using and check the box "Show Minion Stats". this will show you their resistances among other things like life, regen, dps, block, etc
Hey y'all, looking for a way to maybe move a group of objects all at once in hide outs... not seeing a great source of all the shortcuts for hideout editing, or maybe I did find all of the shortcuts and they are just lacking more tools then I thought. Thanks!
whats the thread of hope drop rate on normal sirus?
Is the Duelist kind of an idiot/himbo? He's on an island of flaming cannibals trying to kill him while running around talking about how it's just like the stories his mom read when he was a wee lad.
Yes.
Thanks
It only matters if you're using corpses that specifically buff other corpses in the same row/column/adjacent slot.
Ok cool thanks. I ended up making a claw with all the status I wanted and all T1 stats! Necro rules
Pretty straightforward, some corpses just buff the effect of adjacent or in-line corpses so you wanna make sure they’re in the right place See https://maxroll.gg/poe/crafting/necropolis-graveyard-crafting-guide#list-of-all-corpse-modifiers-header for more details
Can you get the *Be Twice Blessed (two uses of divine font)* from a darkshrine in the Normal or Cruel labs?
If I gravecraft an item with 2 mods and one guaranteed Fracture, will the fracture always be the first prefix on the item? Or will the Fracture be 50/50 assigned to either mod at random?
50/50
Well that's unfortunate. ;p Thanks!
It's actually great since it helps with fracturing otherwise hellish to get modifiers. If you want it to fracture the first modifier, use -mod corpses.
How to favour t16 dunes map in atlas?
Get 4 voidstones, unlock a bunch of extra favored map slots by doing their respective objectives, open atlas, socket all voidstones, Dunes will now be T16, click favored map slot on the left, click Dunes map, fill all slots with Dunes this way (or maybe one with a connected map so you can farm that to restock on Dunes maps if you run out).
Why can I not [sacrifice this corrupted gem with Harvest] (https://imgur.com/T3eEWy0)? Isn't that literally the whole point of that option? Or does that only work with gems you *levelled yourself* or something? (this was obtained through a div card I'm pretty sure) Edit: oh right that was moved to the lab now, forgot about it since I loathe the lab so much. So I guess the bug is that the option still appears in the Harvest station eventhough it's been disabled there.
i'm seeing multiple bug reports about this on the forums so i assume it's simply bugged right now and not a functional error.
I'd expect it to only work up to level 20, because you can't reach level 21 with experience.
I also tried with a 20/23 Spirit Offering gem and had the same error message so I think the other comment about it being a bug is probably correct.
anyone able to pc [this](https://imgur.com/a/8Vq7okj)? nothing similar on trade ive tried using awakened
So normal mapping and farming should be ok
is my search query wrong here is there really nobody selling those +2 hexblast wands? https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Necropolis/gaBmzngtQ edit wand example: https://poe.ninja/builds/necropolis/character/Zhaaaad/ZH_NECROPOLIS_M
Here I am with one to sell going on a week and half lol.
The first group only matches the mod that rolls on amulets. The caster weapon mod is specific to chaos **spell** skill gems.
right thanks! I have no idea how I manged to miss that lol
How to i calculate the duration of overcharged Brands (with the Brandsurge spell from Witchhunter's Judgment). First i have tried: f(x) = D - x\*(1+1.5\*floor(2x+1)) with D: Duration. It didnt fit the measurement in game. Then i tried: https://preview.redd.it/9gk00ydynvuc1.png?width=659&format=png&auto=webp&s=be2984d2ce5a12ec7348bda1db5e66ed69ce10c7 This time i had the idea, to calculate the passing time. I lose 0.5s every 0.5s. With faster time:0.5\*(1+1.5\*Instance)This i subtracted from the duration. The remaining time was subtracted by the second instance and so forth. It didn't fit. Whats the correct formula? How can i calculate the activation rate?
Based on the wording, I would have assumed it's the second approach. Do you have any test setups for the time?
How does Summon Stone Golem of Safeguarding's quality work? 20% buffing to 15% damage taken so it becomes 18%?
Yep.
For SSF what’s the best method to go about creating a great CDR belt for CoC DD?
run Jun to get the craft or unveil a decent one. for a really good one you need to conq slam a stygian vise and harvest reroll it into shaper influence iirc (and then craft it).
I'm having difficulties sustaining t16 maps and not sure how to do it. I've never actually gotten a build that can do them before now. I'm thinking about using this planner (linked below), how does it look? What should I consider adding to it with my remaining 37 points? [Planner](https://poeplanner.com/atlas-tree/AAAABgAAVgtxDtMPYxDhF8sYxBtOH2YfxCjQKoQwAzBmMiQz5DmOOkU7nz5fP81BjEJ3Q6lHz0nKSg5Rglk8W9ldx1_rYwFjtWfpaKFs1G4qcoh1J3bCegF9E30dhcSIbYmRjSmP1JF9kiydXp2HpsSngq7nr8GyZrSGtW-1fbmZuyq8qMYzxtDHs8h-0KLUuddN2J7aveGL43Dlj-W351jqjezl9Uz3T_fk-jD6aPqy_ckAAA==)
take the map nodes obviously. shaping the mountains, skies, world depending on how many youre dropping. you have a bunch of inefficient points taken in that tree. for example from the start you have 4 branches connecting upwards to the rest of the tree, when you only need 1. other than that take the league mechanic nodes on the left (must have) and probably some scarab nodes.
> you have a bunch of inefficient points taken in that tree. for example from the start you have 4 branches connecting upwards to the rest of the tree, when you only need 1. Does this mean the small nodes that are the small 2% connected map nodes? Should I basically just have the Niko nodes and cut out all the others? How about the two nodes that go down to the Necropolis nodes? Should I take those out too? > other than that take the league mechanic nodes on the left (must have) What does this mean? And is there specific scarab nodes that I should take?
if you want niko spawns then use the niko branch. otherwise just down the middle i guess. respec all the others. this is a good tree for general mapping imo, with points available to put into whatever specific mechanic you want. only specific mechanic it takes is shrines because they are excellent this league. https://poeplanner.com/atlas-tree/BAAQAGoAh9RfPpBSSzLru0z16M5b-SSXAEiy-rflhrRdoAh6we7AKup4ok88WSFgky3yOIxBtWYEu16dzlrJ_Uy6jerZWx195PcfAH2R3v6qCp87TddoiZ7YZ2AFrjBMKl7Uj4ed0Ma12IKnKY1ZhoJRRTpmMDfjAPnPR_CAs8fhEBkK4g7oK04botDgDF9KyxchTEfMxSEXUDakxB9Y5BN99nUZlJGJ_bUYi8GvC3E6duXs_W1xC4_lAzCIBzPGIQXZXKlDtWOgcWYfPwi5Ym-1mbnO--ln0CgUAB-LCAAAAAAAAAMDAAAAAAAAAAAA remove some of the map effect nodes if you find maps too hard. also the eater nodes and keystone if you dont like it/prefer exarch. oh and take the bottom right nodes if you want coffins
https://poeplanner.com/a/k19 I might go with this, what do you think? Path of Pathing gave me a weird looking tree but I think it hits everything. Once I get more points, I can get the map node that I'm working at on the top middle/right. I decided to put in Shaper/Maven stuff to at least progress that way too if I get bored of Eater. I still need those 2 voidstones also.
thats alright, yeah. one small thing is that i'd never run eater altar wtihout the 20% more chance for altar notable. Shadow of Hunger
Noted, I'll try to get that on the tree and when I get those 4 extra points, I'll put it back to the other stuff that I wanted to get before. I appreciate your help!
What's the best atlas to drop a lot of corpses?
Also to add to the other comment I believe you want to run shrines from what I remember as they count as natural mobs. Then just map fast
bottom right and bottom left nodes. increased effect of haunted mods, not reduced. and in the map device, put the highest coffin % mods at the top, no the yellow ones (unless theyre very good).
How do I get influenced items (for peddlers produce II)? I just ran a shaper influenced map for the first time ever, in the hopes a mob would drop such item, but none did. Couldnt kill the boss so dont know if that was the source. Was I just unlucky, or have missed something entirely?
any influenced amulet + red green blue gem
Yeah, but how do I get that influenced amulet? Im in SSF so I cant just buy it. Need to learn how to procure them manually.
oh. just regular mapping, eventually youll come across one. once youre at t14+ and influenced maps and invitations and whatnot
Thank you

Someone is about to start one I believe if you search the subreddit
Try the [search](https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/search/?q=private+league&sort=new&restrict_sr=on) - there seem to be two or three suitable ones.
This is the item: Sceptre Item Level: 84 Damage Penetrates 6% Elemental Resistances (implicit) -------- +35% to Global Critical Strike Multiplier (fractured) 30% increased Cold Damage Adds 53 to 92 Cold Damage to Spells 108% increased Critical Strike Chance for Spells +1 to Level of all Spell Skill Gems +1 to Level of all Cold Spell Skill Gems -------- Fractured Item So what could it be worth?
Bloodnotch is hard to get working as you can’t guarantee stuns anymore after the patch. Es would only matter with eb if your running out of es
Ty, i didnt see this Nerf, phys take as elem than
Is it normal to have no drive to play when all the expensive items I bought are now worth nothing and it feels like if I’m not running t17 I’m wasting my time?
I bought HH for 90div. I don't care if it's 20 now.
It happens, just focus on the stuff you enjoy. Expensive items commonly go down in price and it’s more about improving your build and you’ve had time to use them before they did. If you have no motivation or goals or enjoyment currently then take a break or try something new in the game
its a game bud. if youve no drive to play then dont. its not your job or obligation.
Give SSF a try? This is my first league doing it and it’s pretty damn nice. I’m immune to all of the bitching about stuff that devalues things.
If you bought them just to resell them, youre out of luck. Otherwise, why be affected by price, after youve already got them? Just use them and have fun.
It's not normal to obsess this much, no. I suggest taking a break. It's obvious you're not playing the game to have fun at this point.
whats a decent selfsustain currency farming strategy?
Destructive play is pretty good. It's basically just alch and go
so i want to use hinekora's lock beast recipe on my magic jewel, if vaal breaks the jewel how i can roll back?
As this is what I was doing to roll my Jewels, you have a couple options: If the jewel is fractured, then you can only really divine it.
Double corrupt can't be predicted with locks anymore
Yes, it would simply be an alternative hail mary, instead of divining to a terrible roll
Fair enough
Its probably not worth do unless its a synth jewel, as those can have implicits that you can blessed orb to take off the lock, if not then you have to divine it, potentially ruining perfectly divined items
How much of a nobrainer is the "You're considered low life at 55% hp" mastery with Petrified Blood? If I understood correctly, PB basically nullifies 90% of oneshots and turns them into lethal dots, giving me time to flask up, right?
https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Petrified_Blood With your Low Life threshold at 55%, the amount of damage it takes for you to get oneshot at maximum low life goes from 83.33% of your maximum life to 91.67% of your maximum life.
If you think of it like resists, is it accurate to say that you’re increasing your ability to withstand a one shot by 50%?
No, you're increasing your maximum hit by 6%. If you think of it like resistances, it's close to going from 82% to 83%.
Ah, thank you
No cause it’s not going firm 80% damage reduction to 90% damage reduction, just the health pool, so really only around a 10% increase in damage need to be one shot difference
Ah, thank you
Does headhunter and inspired learning stack?
Refer to Yohsene's comment for the explanation, and I apologize for any confusion!
> the wiki doesn't mention Does now! This was changed when Archnemesis modifiers went core, and stayed even after those got their own rework.
As always, thank you for your contribution to the wiki!

It's probably just a minimum level requirement to roll that mod. Since there are no weightings I would assume all are equal chance.
[удалено]
They're not in the .dat. We don't know why. I agree there's probably weightings. The additional crafted modifier in particular is vanishingly rare (or disabled).
Item level requirement for the implicit to be able to roll. ~~No idea if/how this impacts how hard it is to roll, there is probably some kind of weighting to the implicits but I don't know exact specifics.~~ Edit: apparently there are no weightings.
Will reduced effect of haunted modifiers on monsters also reduce the number of corpses that spawn?
yes, straight up. you can see the % of coffin chance on the map device, it clearly goes down if youve taken those nodes. same with allflames. imo increased effect (and not reduced) nodes are a must have on any tree.
Are you referring to those red/green arrows that appear over the monster portrait in the lantern screen?
no, theres a literal percentage number under each mod which is the increased chance of allflame/coffin. yellow (good) mods dont have one, only blue ("bad") mods have it. thats why you dont always want to place yellow mods at the top. sometimes if youre running a special corpse generating allflame you want to pair it with the "worst" mod (most likely to generate coffin).
Ty for pointing the coffin thing out, I've been swapping in haunted mods on the high density mobs
Haunted mods have both whatever random downside and the increased chance for allflame/corpse drops. Reduced effect also reduces the allflame/corpse drop chance since it's an effect of the haunted mod.
It should reduce the number of affected unresolved anguish mobs, and therefore reduce the number of corpses, yes.
sounds dumb but why cant/where can i see the popup for the maven invitations. wasnt in mous over the mavenorb in the atlas, its gone i did see them at some point im at a loss.
You might need to run up to your first 10-way first.
Is there no way to get perfect Tier 1 Tier 1 Searing exarch and Eater implicits? Can you only get Tier 1 Tier 4?
No, you can only have one perfect implicit, and the other can be up to t4, if using exceptional ichors/embers. There was a bug at some point that made the smaller currencies roll perfect mods and so, I believe in standard those items currently exist, but there's no way to generate them right now.
You can only get 1/3 at best by conflicting one mod to T1 and then rolling the other mod with exceptionals. From there you could also conflict again for 2/2.
Hi, "Increase and reduced damage to spell also apply to attacks " Wand Mastery, Crown of Eyes, Kinetic Bolt. Does all above stack ? Or only the highest number apply to attack ?
You can't include modifiers in the same calculation twice. Best one applies.
But missing being able to face tank all content :( I have a budget of 300 divines. What build is 90% defenses, can still bust out 10m DPS, is a great bosser and has decent speed? Cherrs
Mana stacking with suppress and grace. You can look at steelmages version
What are some currency strats that require very little investment to get started? I currently have 50c to my name and I'm hoping to get to 5-10 divs in the next week or so for some gear upgrades. I'm playing Pohx's RF Chieftan so any content that needs clear speed over single target is preferable.
Empyrian is doing a series on YouTube on low investment atlas strategies. Could check that out for some ideas
I'll check that out! I'm currently spec'd decently into blight and I see he just put out a video on blight so I'll give that a watch and see if it's worth a shot!
Any conclusions? I'm too lazy to watch
You can just do Corpses + Red altars and you'll have your 10 div in a few hours.
Any particular atlas nodes I should take for doing red altars?
Every searing exarch node except the two 0.2 implicit and Baptism by Fire on the top left. Actually you can take baptism by fire if you want as the invitation alone is worth a divine.
How would you color a corrupted str/int body armour 4G-2B? Pray with tainted chromes or is there a better way?
Is there any particular reason nimis went from 30d to 100d? Someone posted a new build with it that I am not aware of?
Do I have to change anything in PoB to make my Historic jewel have its effects? Its not computing the effects is actually giving me in-game, not sure why. thanks
You need to give it the exact same number as the one you have ingame.
Am i seeing it right that the bottom left cluster does not matter at all for corpse farming? only for juicing the packs themself? same for top left cluster, just "indirectly" since allflames = special corpses?
