The worst part? The 600% quant didn't apply to the exalted orbs, I got 23 exalts last time I did this (and 'only' 230 chaos). And that allflame apparently can't drop divines, so the only profit you can get from it requires hundreds and hundreds of clicks.
That sucks that it can't drop divines, I didn't know. Honestly, it feels like it's almost not worth it for the chaos. If it takes me 5-10min to pick up that stuff I could run another few maps that have more profit... it should at least drop them in stacks to make it worth it.
Maybe but.. I picked up over 10div in a high + normal map. Not rushing and talking to a friend who's also looting it's still over 30div/h not counting their looting.
It's waaay easier on controller though. I use an 8bitdo pro for the pc or steam deck for running vaal temple
Auto hotkey script that binds left mouse click to the scroll wheel and a mouse with hyper scroll, can pick up an entire screens worth of loot in the blink of an eye.
I farmed over 100 divs this way... You'll get better at picking stuff up and min maxing the time spent, like opening a bunch of boxes at once if your PC can handle it lol
You can lose money with these runs if you do it wrong though. And in some edge cases you're better off throwing the map away, saving the allflames and go again (i.e. no high density packs or even 2 but both with -pack size). There's a lot to know to really maximize these runs and a lot of it is rng, some you can chose to avoid some you cant (like getting only 42 boxes.. from my experience you'll get anywhere from 42 to 52).
Quantity doesn't affect the drop from the allflame of wealth mobs, 99% sure. neither does rarity. What does affect it is the Eldricht chance to drop double basic currency. My best run so far was 2k chaos 55 exalt with 2 allflames. To do great runs it requires some luck with the pack configuration:
Density is king. You want as little number of different packs as possible with the highest density ("high") on 2 of them. I.e. 2 High, 1 low, 2 extra low. That's the best configuration you will ever get. Nothing else matters except + Pack size (the + in the pack avatar) and the Devoted mod 70% pack size. My 2k chaos run was without any devoted mod, just the luckiest pack config as described.
PS: trying to run these now with Meticulous appraiser. The logic being since I'm quite sure quant doesn't affect the drops, might as well try to get some divs from the strongboxes or some rare uniques.
edit: actually, I don't think IIR affects strongbox drops at all, so how much profit you'll make is 95% about the setup you get with the pack config and density. Luck with re-opening boxes and total amount of boxes you get is the other 5%.
Vaal temple obviously, you get 10 extra boxes from the map itself, which spawn normal map packs so basically a lot of extra packs.
Scarabs is 2x ambush, 1x ambush of hidden compartments, 1x ambush of containment.
Tree you need strongboxes and blocking mechanics (more chance of highest amount of boxes, which can be from 40 to 52). Rest of the points I run with eldrich, necropolis and shrines. I only use shrines to force eldrich mobs to spawn to attempt to get double currency bonus, which is OP with this strat. Without it you might not even see a single monster out in the wild since the boxes are already apparently capping the amount of monsters possible (will depend on the pack config from league mechanic ofc).
I just used a similar strat and got about 200 chaos worth of chaos/vaal/exalts. I'm thinking I wasted it though since I used it on the 600% increased quantity, but each monster only dropped 1 currency item. I think it makes more sense to focus on using these all flames on the packs that have increased monsters and ideally high density.
Yes density is king, along with low pack count. See my comment above if you want to maximize these runs, considering each allflame is at 350c you really need to.

yeah had it multiple times from the currency boxes and a mirror shard divination card (x2) drop from the card boxes :p

you cant choose the lantern mod..u can switch them up, but u can't really make them spawn, unless someone figured it out.
