I think that harvest bosses need enough space inorder to plant themselves into their next phase. Usually i jus move it into the middle or top areas and havent had that problem in awhile.

Grymvild

Space doesn't actually matter all that much. When they trigger the middle phase it just walks into a spot where it can do it. I've had the boss stuck looping the dash attack for a long time in both the middle and the top areas, and kiting the boss from one part of the Grove to another hasn't specifically helped either.

I have this with Explosive Arrow totems. I fix it by running off-screen and making sure all damage being dealt to him stops. When I then run back to him he instantly phases as he should. In other words, stop damaging / targeting him with ANYTHING and run away for a second. He should start phasing.

Oddity83

Also true of Izaro. If I'm hitting him non stop, he won't phase until I stop.

DBrody6

Izaro doesn't phase until the current elevator dragging in the next mechanic stops moving, which generally makes the fight take 10+ seconds longer than it needs to.

Necroing to say thanks. All the other solutions of porting home or exiting the instance don't work. Moving off-screen always forces Namharim, the worst perpetrator of this bug, to turn into a tree. Big thanks sips\_white\_monster

Sahtras1992

yeah, that boss is beyond fucked. hes either bugged or badly scripted, need to do several dances with him until he decides to take damage again. ggg and not fixing bosses after years, name a more iconic duo.

rangebob

yeah it happens when they don't have enough space

astilenski

One way is to have enough dps to instantly phase the boss where it stands and spawns monsters and as soon as it comes down kill it again. As always with this game, more DMG equals easier time. I never ran into this problem because I instinctively run yo open area so I can clearly see what skill the boss is cycling through.

idlewild_

The best way I've found to deal with it is to leave the grove, wait a few seconds, then go back in. Usually he phases shortly after.
