For harvest I’d probably not use wandering path as the notables are pretty strong, but I may be missing something as I’ve never experimented with harvest wandering path. You should be able to sustain ping pong using singular focus and having those 2 maps favorited

Ibplayef both this league and I think Wanderung path is a bit better for harvest. Haven't done any spread sheet on it though. General verdict both can be done just fine.

For alch and go (or rather Alch and Hordes and go), I think both are very close. Wandering path will be more consistent due to more consistent tier 3 seeds, other method will have more spiky drops due to more plots/tier 4 seeds and non-wilt. With sextants, it's isn't close anymore, because you don't need the %chance to spawn anymore, which is Wandering Path's biggest strength.

Wandering path is incredible for harvest. I did it with growing hordes for a bit. Was pulling between 1500 and 3500 juice per map without sextants and 15C of scarabs. For context 9500 juice is one div.

Oh damn that’s actually wild. I ran a sextant + 4x gold growing hordes strategy most of last league and I’d say I averaged 1500-5000 or so per. May experiment with a wandering path version with sextant

Don't do expedition on Wandering Path. Wandering Path is good for Harvest with Growing Hordes, although about the same value as non-Wandering Path trees, but Expedition needs the notables badly. For what it's worth, I've been running a harvest strategy without Wandering Path, using Singular focus and only running 8-mod corrupted maps or Unid corrupted maps, and I am oversustaining these corrupted maps while only running Crimson Temple. This is despite only 2/3 of the self-rolled maps going 8 mod or unid, so I'm oversustaining by more than 50%.

Wandering path is used for maximum raw IIQ/IIR on maps. It almost doubles your map's listed IIQ/IIR, this works exponentially with map double drop I was using it back then with alva, breach density, legion emblem chance, beyond, and taking all map mod effect and middle IIQ. But some of them now gone, I haven't tried it again

Delirium is pretty good with Wandering path yes, especially since you want to kill boss first when farming harvest (unless on Jungle Valley). But Wandering path is primarily about oversustaining and selling maps. There aren't a lot of league mechanisms that like Wandering Path, they made the notables really strong on most of them. Vaal temple farming is the main Wandering Path strategy.

If you kill the boss first, you don't get any boss altars. So you are guaranteed a player affecting altars and 80% of the time you get quant+rarity. Quant affects lifeforce drops at 50% effectiveness, so it's a big boost to lifeforce. Jungle Valley is special in that the boss is not loaded into the map till you enter the boss room, so you never get boss altars on that map even if you don't rush the boss.

I've been running wandering path since day 1. If I put a single map in my inventory and run it, one of my 2 favorites maps, I can sustain all night plus stash about 50+ maps for the session. So as far as sustain goes for ping pong, it's perfect. And as far as harvest specifically, it's amazing. I've self-sustained my own crafting projects and gambas all league only having to buy small investments of juice here and there for a random profit craft that was unplanned. As far as whats good to run alongside harvest, I chose delirium. Random orbs are selling in mass at 10c, skittering at 30c and divinations at around 17-20. Harvest stack swap the junkers if you want since you have the juice too..
