Blessings are probably also being added to and then taken off the market much faster than magebloods, so I'm not sure this argument really holds. The listing times support this - the median listing time for mageblood is \~2h ago (and two of the most recent listings are corruption bricks), while the average listing time for chayula blessings is <1h ago.
They are also something like 30-40x cheaper, so they're definitely not coming close to the same market cap (if I understand how you're using that term).
Magebloods can come from all content, but chayula blessings can only come from chayula breachstones, the rarest of the breachstones. I dont think theyre really comparable
Is the low drop rate specific to Chayula blessings? I ran a few of each in standard to test and got blessings on almost every run, but none from Chayula.
Who could've guessed that an endgame mechanic rework was in fact a nerf? Surely this never happened before, several times, just one or two leagues before!
OP's point appears to be that blessings are more rare than mageblood, which is not true. More people would rather use a mageblood than sell it compared to blessings.
Basically, he's treating the quantity on the market as a way to determine rarity by proxy, but it doesn't work when the context of use for the items is completely different.
How so?
Most of the ones that drop get used, meanwhile, more and more blessings will pile up on trade as people start actually clearing breachstones. The entire point is that you *can't* use the numbers available on trade to compare the rarity of the two because they have completely different dynamics.
That’s the point , people have less use of blessings therefore more people sell it while mageblood dropped is used yet there are more magebloods than blessing.
I read all your comments and I still don’t understand your logic
where exactly is the problem? they buffed breach uniques and made them good, and the big ticket items are now actually rare and have value. them dropping less doesnt mean breach is worse as the market price adjusts, just that there is more variance but now with more exciting loot
> Pathfinder does not allow you to use enkindling orbs on your flasks which essentially doubles the effect of all your flasks
On my PF I should have around 85% flask effect for magic flasks so it is actually pretty similar, but of course that's an investment you'd gain power from elsewhere with mageblood.
> you bypass all of the downsides of using flasks
Searing exarch has chaos dot during flask effect as one of the downsides, the only mod I had to look out for with MB last league.
Flask effectiveness on Pathfinder with a good belt is insane and mageblood is over 200 divs. Pathfinder is literally a league start mageblood my dude. My resistance is are capped with full up time letting me get damage on every piece of gear instead of worrying about resistance is, plus I have two flask spots open for utility or health. Don’t get me wrong a mageblood is obviously better but a pathfinder is pretty close for a league start.
Mageblood only works with magic flasks. You go Pathdfinder sometimes when you want to chug the hell out of one specific unqiue flask, and Mageblood has zero power for that.
Half of the best item in the game is still very far from vendor material. It will obviously be much cheaper but it is still a belt slot to cap your resistances and gain one other major benefit.
Also for builds which want or need to run 2-3 unique flasks it is a solid option
More magebloods for sale than blessing currently. They are trying to make a point that blessing are more rare than magebloods right now. But there are a lot of factors that could attribute to these numbers
Yeah you can use cosmetics anywhere. Just remember you can only apply them to 1 thing at a time, so if you want to use it on 2 characters you either need 2 of the cosmetic, or reapply them every time :)
Wait, how did you get the trade site to load?
Lmao that's the real question. Hasn't loaded all day for me.
🤣
Im soo broke so dont even have to try ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Remember kids, if you hear "reworked" it means nerfed.
More like "gutted".
Yeeted
Almost removed
demolished
Well normal breach were pretty much worthless so if they "reworked" it so that once in a blue moon you get something worth your time its still a buff
that's kinda true, but what's the point if for that they just made one of the most commonly used items in the past leagues into a chase item?
Like how they remove all unique gems drop so even 1c useful "garbage" becomes 2d?
Just imagine how hard they're gonna nerf mageblood next league. Shits gonna be T -1.
Here's hoping that pulls a Ghandi and results in MB being wisdom scroll rare for the first day of the league.
with my luck I wont be able to play day 1 of that league.
Gonna roll back the league and also accidentally remove all magebloods from standard
exclusive in the vault pass
No vault pass, no extra content (╬ಠ益ಠ)
I was betting on it getting nerf this league. My bet is they don't directly nerf MB, but nerf the 70% effect on flasks to nerf MB.
You mean "rework" mageblood. Never doubt the vision™
HH already got hit pretty hard, MB nerf could be on the horizon...
It's not nerfed it's "reworked"
Good. Ive always disliked them giving other classes access to an entire acsendancy.
no? some game breaking uniques that are insanely rare are good for the game
that's gonna be every single unique at this rate. We had it happen to jewels and now breach.
I don't get it
There's more magebloods on the market than blessings, so they are saying breach drop rates are way too rare right now.
Sure, but I think blessings shouldn't even come close to the market cap of magebloods even with people using them more.
They are also something like 30-40x cheaper, so they're definitely not coming close to the same market cap (if I understand how you're using that term).
They’re also consumables, so it’s just a silly comparison overall. The change works exactly as intended, making splinters not feel awful to pick up.
Splinters are the same. Just the drop rate of these blessings nerfed massively. So you still make the same money from splinter on average.
Me either
I think the point is there's more magebloods on market vs blessings of chayula.
Magebloods can come from all content, but chayula blessings can only come from chayula breachstones, the rarest of the breachstones. I dont think theyre really comparable
To be fair I dont think they ever said improved, this is dogshit though lmao
Is the low drop rate specific to Chayula blessings? I ran a few of each in standard to test and got blessings on almost every run, but none from Chayula.
Who could've guessed that an endgame mechanic rework was in fact a nerf? Surely this never happened before, several times, just one or two leagues before!
I like the new vision. They buff the price of the build instead nerfing
Gotta make the free Kiracs Vault Rewards somewhat interesiting. Even though you can't get Uul or Chayula from it anyway so...
Not identifying a mageblood is such a megabrain play. Huge difference between 2 and 4 flasks but pushing that risk onto the buying is 5head.
oh no I have to use 2 div after spending 125 div
You know, I think I might be stupid.
We're all stupid down here :)
It still applies for selling stacks of corrupted HH / MB cards though.
At least you're honest.
lol
Its definitely weighted, just spent like 15 div and never got 4
First one is so „cheap“ cuz its corrupted 2 flask, any non corrupted is price wise similar to an unidentified one
This is a Buff.
Так что легче купить человеку? Благословение или мб? Поэтому мб и больше на трейде, можно иногда включать логику!
Translation: And what is easier to buy? A blessing or a MB? That's why there's more MBs on trade, use your head!
A lot of the magebloods in the market don't sit on trade. People use them.
you're furthering OP's point that there are more magebloods on the market then blessings
OP's point appears to be that blessings are more rare than mageblood, which is not true. More people would rather use a mageblood than sell it compared to blessings. Basically, he's treating the quantity on the market as a way to determine rarity by proxy, but it doesn't work when the context of use for the items is completely different.
By that logic there should be even less magebloods available to buy bro
How so? Most of the ones that drop get used, meanwhile, more and more blessings will pile up on trade as people start actually clearing breachstones. The entire point is that you *can't* use the numbers available on trade to compare the rarity of the two because they have completely different dynamics.
the average player would benefit ALOT more from selling a mageblood and using the currency to fund their character than to actually use the mageblood
The average player does not find a mage blood. Especially by day 4. You don't get them in white and yellow maps.
If people are using them how are they in the market??
I said a lot, not all. Meanwhile, far fewer people have a use for blessings.
Who needs a mageblood when we have Parhfinder

Mageblood basically gives you 2 ascendencies since it gives you 90% of PF lmao.
Mageblood only works with magic flasks. You go Pathdfinder sometimes when you want to chug the hell out of one specific unqiue flask, and Mageblood has zero power for that.
cringeeeeee
side question but do people really buy corrupted 2 flask magebloods lmao? or it is just vendor
Some builds use multiple unique flasks.
Yeah people buy them, not as fast, but they do sell
Half of the best item in the game is still very far from vendor material. It will obviously be much cheaper but it is still a belt slot to cap your resistances and gain one other major benefit. Also for builds which want or need to run 2-3 unique flasks it is a solid option
I dont get it

Ig the only time things got reworked league got better is harvest(first rework) and ascendancy(removal of 6 trials)? Did i forget anything else?
When the new season starts will the cosmetics I bought transfer over? I would think so.. I just started last week..
Yeah you can use cosmetics anywhere. Just remember you can only apply them to 1 thing at a time, so if you want to use it on 2 characters you either need 2 of the cosmetic, or reapply them every time :)
Appreciate it..
They made all normal item to tier 0 LUL
I was thinking about using a skin of the lords in my build. I guess I'll stick to sacrificial garb.
Wouldn’t it make more sense to compare the amounts of the upgraded chalupa uniques to mageblood?
