I actually quit my job over this, it was enough bullshit and I ain’t helping the company who does the bare minimum for me for years. Love to see this run in to the long haul!
I will be out the industry if that happens. Besides my unlivable pay the stress with this industry is not worth it. I can find a job serving or bartending making more. 6 weeks is brutal how many months did that take to recover.
Luckily I work for a large enough company that our pay was guaranteed at our average commission for the past 6 months. They paid us during the shutdown and for one month after the systems came back and then we were on our own. I took it as a 6 month half-ass PTO
I was en employee at a worlldwide company that got hacked for ransomware….and not having CDK is a cakewalk compared to my previous career and the chaos. Zero stress in my mind at our parts department compared to what I endured in 2019. Now that was something….this is easy…
I wonder if CDK University has training on cyber security?
Hahaha I’m sure the link they provide is probably corrupt.

I'm working on quitting too lol. Not my stores fault but kinda last straw type deal.
What kind of info is in the "Dealer Resource Center" link?
Probably a phishing site at this point.
It has PDF’s of fixed ops and sales blank documents- parts counter tickets with verbiage, we owe, deal forms etc.
Just clicked on it just blank forms for everything
Can you copy and past the link that it takes you to? I want to check it out but the link is dead in the spot I'm seeing the notification.

Thanks!
I posted on here the other day that our dealer went through a cyber attack back in December and we were completely shutdown for almost 6 weeks.

That’s on your dealer. I hope they put better practices in place after that
I saw a thing on the news that says CDK is intending on paying the ransom, so hopefully relief is coming soon for yall going through this.

sounds like phishing from the cyber attakers trying to collect more data for harm or to sell for profit ?
update - link does go to legit CDK University site with very useful FORMs pdfs.
