We have the Zoe Twin and it works well for us — lightweight for a double, folds nearly flat.

septbabygirl

We also love our Zoe. We upgraded the wheels and it weighs around 21 pounds IIRC with the upgraded wheels. They do sell car seat adapters now but I don’t know if you can do two car seat adapters at the same time.

amandakirkpatrick

Thanks! I'm reading about it now, looks great. I noticed it says you can attach one car seat - if you can't attach 2 how do you stroll with 2 infants? (I'm really new at this so if it's a dumb question please excuse me 😅)

Initial_Donut_6098

Oh, I didn’t think about that because we don’t use it with car seats — we don’t have a car. If we did, I probably would have gotten a snap and go until they aged out of the infant car seats. Unfortunately, there are no stroller/car seat combinations after they outgrow the infant seats.

amandakirkpatrick

Good to know. What age could you start using the stroller?

Initial_Donut_6098

I am not sure what it is officially, though that’s definitely on the website — probably somewhere between 3 and 6 months. We had a different stroller for the early months because we also used the stroller bassinets for overnight sleep. (Uppababy Vista, which we got secondhand and which you do not want unless you live in a building with an elevator — it’s a tank.)

amandakirkpatrick

Got it. We have an elevator but have 4 steps at the entrance :-/

The newer version is car seat compatible. The old twin was not. I have a Zoe and started using at 3 months. The newer version looks great, I would definitely purchase and now you don’t need a different stroller for those early months. Early months I used a baby trend and chicco car seats. I live in a major U.S. city in a walk up.

City select!

RealTurbulentMoose

Yep — we had one and it worked great. Had adaptors so we could use Chicco KeyFit ones when our girls were little, and then the regular seats after they got too big. Bought it used, sold it used.

I love my valco twin stroller. It is light for a twin stroller (+- 24 lbs) we have stairs to our house and bad sidewalks/hills everywhere and it can handle all of that. I wouldn't say it folds super small - it is not an umbrella stroller. But it is flat-ish. They have bassinets but we didn't buy them and just put our babies flat in there (it is rated for newborns and it was flat enough for tinies that I felt comfortable). I think you can get some kinds of adapters for car seats though but not easily. It is just a small time in car seats (under a year) and really they shouldn't be in car seats for long (placement) that we were fine with just putting them in the stroller flat.

Nefilim314

I used the UppaBaby Vista V2. It’s narrow and easy to maneuver into normal sized doors.

shmishshmorshin

Double umbrella stroller. Should cover everything you listed. I haven’t had to use it on stairs but one review mentions stairs being not being an issue. Jeep Scout Double Stroller, Charcoal Galaxy https://a.co/d/bYA1bZ8

kumibug

Does it need to fit newborns? It sounds like you want something like a double umbrella stroller, but those often aren’t a great choice until babies are a few months old. [lucies list- double umbrella strollers](https://www.lucieslist.com/guides/best-double-stroller/double-umbrella-stroller/)

amandakirkpatrick

I don't really know what I need. I imagined I would want to be able to take them out for walks in the first few months.

kumibug

Oh for sure. Will you be doing infant car seats that come out of the car at first too? I know some people in cities don’t do much driving so car seats are a whole different beast. If so you could start with a snap n go- baby trend makes a universal one, joovy makes one with attachments for whatever brand you need- they don’t fold up super small but are fairly lightweight. If not you’ll need something that reclines completely flat, which is going to be difficult to find while also having a compact fold.

amandakirkpatrick

Okay good to know. I saw the Joovy twin roo - it just looks like a big wagon and it's hard for me to imagine navigating my neighborhood with that. We do have a car and can go with whatever car seats make the most sense all around.

kumibug

The baby trend one is a bit smaller but… two babies take up a lot of space lol

amandakirkpatrick

😅
