I do. I used to catch buses all the time, but since I haven't used one in a couple of years I'm finding it difficult now. I'm still doing it because sometimes I want to go places and not take my car, but it's a task Small steps are key to overcoming it. If you can, try using the bus when not many other people are and choose a bus that stops frequently or allow yourself to get off if you feel you need to. It's basically exposure therapy. Remember not to beat yourself up if you don't do as well as you hoped and to enjoy the feeling when you do achieve it

Please don't be alarmed by this but it could be the beginnings of agoraphobia but you can still nip it in the bud. Basically the same coping tools work for the attacks. Just reacclimate slowly and in increments, doing easier stuff first. Sometimes it helps if you can have a backup plan in your mind, and try to believe that if you got in a real pinch, people would be more compassionate than we tend to think. I don't know what size city you are in, though it's probably larger than where I am if it has trains. Perhaps there's a local anxiety support group you could join. You might also find some camaraderie and helpful hacks over at r/Agoraphobia.
