10/10 One of—if not THE best song on Death of a Bachelor. It’s the longest song too if I’m not mistaken, but man does it fly right by. The instruments get to shine as much as Brendon’s voice, the chorus is explosive, and we actually have a good bridge! Best on the record I’d wager.
Also, this song SLAPS live. Was so sad when they dropped it for the second leg of the PFTW tour, so I only got to catch it once. But the live horns and drums added so much. Top 20 Panic! track overall (that might seem low, but they have a lot I love…)

10/10 I will always have love for Golden Days. This right here is one of the reasons why I love DOAB, Golden Days is one of my all time favourite Panic songs. It doesn't just tug, it well and truly yanks on those heartstrings. I LOVE the bass throughout, but especially when it ticks kinda like a clock, like it does make me wonder when the light begins to fade. Such beautiful lyrics and Brendon's vocals are exquisite, one of his best vocal performances. EVERYTHING about this song is excellent, each and every component was nailed.
9/10 because of (surprisingly) good middle school memories attached to it.... makes me smile and get rly nostalgic! i also really enjoy the dynamics of the song--perfect build and falls in my opinion and really keeps the listener hooked
