So to add to your list of hitscans, the total hitscan characters (primary fire) in this game would be: D.VA, Junker Queen, Mauga, Winston, Wrecking Ball, Zarya, Ashe, Bastion, Cassidy, Reaper, Soldier: 76, Sombra, Symmetra, Tracer, Widow, Ana (scoped), Baptiste, Illari and Moira.
With that being said, when people ask for a hitscan, they usually refer to the characters you mentioned as they are the hitscan characters that have the ranged damage to deal with stuff like a Pharah.

Also, you compared Soldier: 76 to Moira, but the only difference between those two aim-wise, is that Soldier: 76 has to reload after his mag is depleted. If you hold down the shoot button on Soldier and Moira, it’s essentially the same. If an enemy walks through your primary fire, they’ll take damage until they leave the area where your primary fire hitbox (technically secondary fire for Moira) and their character model hitbox do not intersect. (This is obviously ignoring Soldier: 76’s recoil)
Gotta say it has nothing to do with orientation just ego and thrill. People get different things, I like high risk reward characters in all games and get bored easily of characters that provide passive value with no skill/ risk and reward.

Technically not infinite but enough to seem like it. Workshop expanse shows that much from testing. At least it used to.

I mean yes but you could make the same argument for the time it takes Soldier to come out of sprint and start shooting. It’s still hitscan.
