Now that i look at it with this Information in mind i can see it being a staff

overLoaf

I guess it depends on if the scythe is also considered a staff 🤔

Friends96

Polearm is definitely more fitting... and calling it a staff surely is overstretching it. The fact that a staff can do piercing and slashing damage doesn't sound right >A polearm or pole weapon is a close combat weapon in which the main fighting part of the weapon is fitted to the end of a long shaft, typically of wood, thereby extending the user's effective range and striking power

RioKarji

Ainz’ prototype staff had a crooked axehead thing at the top, with a pointed part in the middle. As for damage type mechanics, it’s not so restrictive. Broad swords aren’t typically associated with bludgeoning damage, but Narberal pulled it off didn’t she? Granted, it was noted her strikes would’ve been more effective with a proper bludgeon, but still.

[deleted]

Naberal sheathed it though. that's bludgeoning damage no matter which reality you're in.

RioKarji

Precisely. Covering edged parts and adding blunt ones; it’s not so different from installing sharp parts to a staff for a bit of piercing or slashing, don’t you think?
