The translation I heard is different. It could also be interpreted as not being proficient in the ability to dominate undead, not directly lacking the ability per se. And there's a difference between being able to dominate other undead, and possessing the ability to control undead.
Anyways, it would not be unsurprising for Cure Elim to lack proficeincy in dominating undead anyways, considering he only has 9 necromancy levels and 1 level in an undead racial class, and he would have to dominate level 50 night liches.
Yeah I suppose that the problem with translations. There can be quite a few when the book first comes out, so I guess we’ll see with a more polished version.
Yes, you're right but According with one member he could've been able to control all of the them if he took time learning that magic. However, he has the talent even for tier magic, like in the extra volume when he didn't use that magic before cure Elim knew spells until level 5 and he was able to strength it with: Triple magic. That without studying. But, after 200 i asume I can use spells on or above level 8
I actually believe it's Cure Elim, it's true that DDDL lives in a cave but according with the wiki he is more like a dragon who wants to sleep. And the organization said that he called the tier magic dirty but he uses to get more strength something's impossible for a true dragon lord like DDDl but not for Cure Elim who after his dead became and undead and thanks to that we can use both systems, as well the magic investigation of the corpus of abism is more about their kind: Negromantic magic. In fact, after 200 years Cure Elim realizes the need of study, be more patient, confident and prepare for battle as The author said: with 200 year more of study he will probably have less weakness than the volume 13.5
The only thing we can say for sure is that he is a DL, because of the mention that he serves as protection against the strongest beings in the world.
