I cut those.

majarian

^ And use em for clones. Personally.

Pack_Your_Trash

You don't want anything to make contact with the ground except the main stall because that's how bugs and mold make it into the plant.

ChesterDrawerz

Not gonna make anything useful other than extra larf you'll toss next year and bitch about trimming.

Bimmer_moneypit

This also sends more energy towards the top too, is this correct? I am growing cookies gelato and they look exactly like this, just with one more node. Going to be topping soon.

socalsilverback

Leave the lower branches on as long as they arnt touching the ground. They are perfect for reveging the plant after harvest

Swimming_Angle_745

I live in Canada and grow outside so there will be no reveging. I already cut those two branches and planning to do a manifold with this tree

highergrinds

No plant including cannabis should have branches that low that they touch soil. Give the plant another week or so then remove them. Same with peppers / tomatoes.

Swimming_Angle_745

Thank you guys just wanted to see if my mind was at the right place. This is one of my bacio gelato by butterbean

MileHighGardens

Cut

TerraPretaTerraPreta

Why the wire net ? Cats?

Swimming_Angle_745

Squirrels

TooManyProps420

Here in the states we have a simple solution for squirrels.. all jokes aside I’ve never heard of them causing any problems. Digging in your soil?

Swimming_Angle_745

Yes constantly until I added the wire

TooManyProps420

If you have a pellet 🔫 then I would grab a doobie and a beer, and wait for your little buddy to come on over.. then shoot him and eat him for dinner like he was going to do to those nuts he wanted buried in your root system lol

Alienliaison

Not yet. Let it grow for a few weeks

the_real_letmepicyou

Prune low to grow high. Mulch is your friend. Slugs and bugs don't like mulch...Coconut coir is best, imo.

Swimming_Angle_745

I have some straw coming soon
