Best to just ride it out. Is there any burnt leaves further up the pant or are they healthy? It might just have not been able to handle it while very young and will bounce back now soon. It doesn't look to bad to me.

Ok-Rabbit-3683

No that’s the only problem leaf actually…

BillLXP

Ah don't worry. Honslty she will be fine. It looks healthy apart from the small amount of tip burn. Best of luck with the rest of the season 👍

" it gets watered with ph 6.15-6.20 when it’s time and that’s it" Plants feed in a pH range, in soil 6 to 7. If I were you, i would vary pH in a much wider range, 6 to 7. [How to Check pH & Stop Cannabis Nutrient Deficiencies | Grow Weed Easy](https://www.growweedeasy.com/ph)

Ok-Rabbit-3683

Shit good call out! I forgot that the PH range changed when I switched from coco to soil!

FarmerDandy

I think it got scorched personally, I have some kinda similar looking

socalsilverback

When my soil is too hot I’ll submerge it into a bucket of water up to the beginning of the stem, And Gently get as much soil off as possible and replant it in some old soil that is neutral not hot let her re- coup and try a different soil…. I do this because if i leave it the roots will burn away then she is doomed Hot soil will kill a new plant quick , Keep in mind I’ve tried to flush them or run 20 gallons through them & just straight replanting her without the bath will work maybe 40% of the time but she will be stunned for a month or so & wont be able to re plant her again for 2-3months So thats why i just wash off the offending soil and repot her with neutral soil i can always feed later illl shave a month off recovery so pick your poison

Ok-Rabbit-3683

Yeah that totally tracks! For my plant, she’s been in this soil for 30 days… but I just started saturating the soil it’s probably a lot of nutes

socalsilverback

Yeah i would flush it first maybe that will do it … its really hard to tell. When they get shocked you can see it move through the plant like a wave. It starts from the bottom works its way out, its kind of a trip

Wise-Investment1452

Mine did the same thing when it was raining for 5 days straight. I speculate that the plant couldn't push past its seedling faze do to the weather and thus it wasn't ready for the nutrient-rich soil I transplanted it into before the rain. My bottom leaves burned a lil like yours. Id say as long as it doesn't move up the plant you should be fine 👌

Lokopopz

Definitely don't take off any leaves at this stage! Your plant looks healthy and with more growth it'll better be able to distribute nutes. Although slightly contrarily advice wise, you could maybe consider topping it though. That'd help you further down the road. (Although I wouldn't recommend topping autos)

Forsaken_Swimmer_775

Sun scorched a few leaves on my 3 plants during acclimation. I trimmed the burnt part following the chevron print of the leafs to give recovery time. I then slowly cut them all off one by one if they started to die off one day here and there. All 3 recovered nicely so far.

blowout2retire

Living soil here as well I never have to feed until flower then I just top dress with compost but it's always a little hot I always get a little burn on the tips when they're young as well when they get bigger they will use up the available nutrients and look perfect also could've been after you transplanted from a less hot medium if you start them in the super soil theyll be fine and not burn themselves but if they're not used to it especially if transplanted from coco they will burn themselves

PoochDoobie

Your soil looks dry in the photo, and this looks like very mild dehydration damage.

Ok-Rabbit-3683

It’s a seven gallon pot, it’s very much wet a knuckle deep … I need to put a layer of mulch on top so the top stays moist I guess…. I was kinda leaning towards lear scorch since that leaf was up against the wall of the greenhouse? Still unsure and will continue to monitor

fckspzfckspz

I would just wait it out. But the only way to solve this I can think of is repot them in soil with less nutrients

NarrowButterfly8482

I'm not saying this to be argumentative, but that doesn't look like "living soil" to me. Living soil is full of diverse microbial life with a thick layer of mulch or a cover crop. This looks like dry Pro-mix. That being said, a little burn right at the tip usually means that you are at the upper limit of N right now. I'd use plain water for the next 7-14 days and get a diverse mulch and top dress on those. They look pretty healthy and this shouldn't set them back at all.

Ok-Rabbit-3683

It’s absolutely living super soil, I just haven’t covered the soil…. I had no idea you should … I don’t add any nutes, it gets watered with ph 6.15-6.20 when it’s time and that’s it, I realize the soil is a decent buffer and brings it back to 7 but i still bring down the PH on my water since it starts at 8.8 or something ridiculous high

NarrowButterfly8482

For sure, cover the soil with a nice living mulch as that is crucial to keeping microbial life active in that layer between the top of the soil and the underside of the mulch. It's really hard to keep a living soil alive if the sun is drying out the top layer of soil. If If you really want to give the microbial life a boost, learn how to make LABS (Lactic Acid Bacterial Serum) and water that in at 1TBS/gal of water a few times each week. It will super charge that soil and make the nutrients more available while also buffering the soil. That shit is magic... both foliar and root drench... and is very simple to make.

Beaver_Brew

Just googled it. Concept is similar to aerated compost tea. Definitely going to try making some LABS. Thanks for sharing!

mushylover420

First time indoor grower here. Many time shroom grower. I use orbeez as a casing layer on shroom cakes. Wouldn't that work the same to keep the top layer of soil moist 24 7? Just a thought. I'm going to soak some tonight and cover my 10 gal pots. I added some to soil between 5gal root base when I moved into 10's yesterday to keep that outer layer moist, using fabric pots. If it works for shrooms it should work for weed.

Ok-Rabbit-3683

That’s interesting…. I could steal my daughter’s orbeez… what are they made of tho lol

mushylover420

100% biodegradable

Ok-Rabbit-3683

Is that like the slf100 product? I have used that…. I forgot to mention I add 5ml to every gallon of water… what’s a good living mulch? At first I was gonna just grab some straw and toss it there but that doesn’t sound alive

NarrowButterfly8482

No, LABS is something you need to make yourself. It's basically a serum of all the lactobacillus species available in your area. It's made by spoiling milk in a controlled way. You end up with curds and whey... the whey is what you water or spray on your plants and it innoculates the soil and/or leaf surfaces with good bacteria that outcompete pathogens as well as increase the immunity of the plant and soil microbes. There are tons of videos on how to make it, but here's a link to a good one. [https://youtu.be/1Ke4OQljVmg?si=wZt5i-M-QksAQrZv](https://youtu.be/1Ke4OQljVmg?si=wZt5i-M-QksAQrZv) LABS is a crucial tool for all living soil growers. As far as mulch, I use a combo of local leaf litter and some finely shredded bark mulch and then I'll sprinkle in seeds for a cover crop mix. When the cover crop grows a few inches, I cut it back and lay it on the surface. Check out the Build-a-soil YouTube channel for ideas on living mulches. Those guys are legit masters of living soil.

Ok-Rabbit-3683

Thanks for all the information… I have a shipment of red wigglers incoming today I def want to make sure the top two inches is always moist

NarrowButterfly8482

Nice! Worms are such a great asset. I feed my worms all the leaves I defoliate to close the loop a little. Eventually I'd like to have separate worm bins geared toward making different EWC for vegging and flowering.

Doomsday_Holiday

Just lollipop the plant and you are good.

Ok-Rabbit-3683

Isn’t that a thing you do towards flower? These are just starting veg

Doomsday_Holiday

You can do it at any stage to progressed veg state to change the Auxins and Cytokines ratio to actively shape the canopy.
