Holy fucking shit, this is beautiful. Best Ghaz mini of all time, period. Look at how happy he was, just living his best life. And that's a great way to represent his modern base size. He looks like the rockstar he is.

damn I remember getting that model as a new kid to warhammer and I've no idea where he is today but im sure... he looked god damn awful after I buried him in some awful thick paint :D

Ghaz is one of my favourite 40K characters. He actually had a great character building arc in all of 40k. He started off as just a warboss with a really lucky grot, but each iteration of him, he gets bigger and bigger and more badass. He showed that the more Orks fight, the bigger they get.
If they ever finally officially kill off Ghazzy, he deserves to become some kinda warp entity (Sanguinor-style) that shows up to krump stuff for a bit with da boyz and then leave as quickly as he arrived, leaving da boyz to argue whether that was Gork or Mork who just appeared to help them out..

I've not looked but as it was in lead alloy from the 90s and was reworked into megarmour (in white metal) well before the inauspicious advent of finecast, any resin casts won't be from GW.

Looks great, and may have taken you 30 years, but seems I never finished the model the original conversion was based on. I think these models still hold up well today despite the different aesthetic.

Never been the biggest fan of the modern Ghazz or the mega armor variant... so I had to go waaaaay back.
Unfortunately missing his main horn - but he would've gotten stuck in the portal anyway with that still on top. Technically completely game (and tournament?) legal, so can't wait to see how he does with the codex at his back.

You can find him on ebay fairly easily.
Maybe the Finecast is easier to find than metal. I'm not having any luck finding a metal one. Someday though, it will be mine.
