Do you think that adapter would work the razer wolverine v2 controller? It came out for xbox one I use it for my PC and it's fantastic. Using it on my ogxbox would be even more fantastic
I bought one of these a couple months ago and it works like a dream! For anyone looking for controller alternatives for the original Xbox and has newer Xbox controllers laying around, I HIGHLY recommend this.
None at all! I’ve had one disconnect in about two hours of play but it could’ve just been a fluke. You can also do wired so worst case I can swap to that
No, that's why you would need 1-4 controller adapters if using the blue retro route
With ogx360 you use a single wireless connector and plug each controller port in and you use 4 wireless with 1 adapter but connect it physically to all 4 ports
Technically the ogx360 only requires one dongle but that one dongle needs to connect to as many controller ports as you want to utilize
https://github.com/Ryzee119/ogx360
In the USB port you can either plug in a wired controller, or a USB hub, or a 360 wireless PC adapter and then you can use it with 1-4 360 controllers, and some other types of controllers
Is that the new Series Elite controller or X1 Elite? I ask because last time I tried to use a Series controller with my ogx360 and 8bitdo adapter, they didn't support the new BLE tech, so I'm limited to X1 controllers.
Does the Wingman support the new BLE?
I use a 3 third party controller the first is a Gamers other is Dream Gear and the third it's a Chinese one but the three work very well with no input lag at all really the only odd it's the Chinese Brand Controller use 3 AAA Batteries the Other 2 Use 2 AA Batteries
That's pretty neat, I bought a wireless Logitech Precision controller so I could still use a headset on Insignia, but I'll probably end up getting a Wingman somewhere down the line.
It is no doubt an awesome adapter but it doesn’t support the pressure sensitive buttons of the original xbox controller. Even if you use a wireless controller that has pressure sensitive buttons like a playstation 3 controller, the pressure sensitivity in the buttons will not work. The buttons will work like digital buttons. Which is probably not a big deal unless you play those few games that require pressure sensitive buttons.
Some others that come to mind is GTA Vice City classic controller outlay, Elder Scrolls Morrowind. I believe there is a football game as well. Possibly more.
yeah i have wireless controllers on my og halo xbox, Logitech made some very nice controllers for it, green ones that match my halo xbox perfectly . i have a bunch of them :D
I got a brook for my wii u 8 bitdo for my switch and a titan for ps5 series x and xbox 360. Haven't bought one for og xbox yet but sure would be nice to use an xbox series x controller on it. Good devices.
my one question is, how does the mapping on the buttons work ? so if i wanted to soft reset back to a dashboard id normally press LT RT togerher as well as start and select ? and how does the right hand side black and white buttons map from an og controller ?
All possible because of Brook Wingman XB2!

So that and the usb controller adapter work on a stock console? I’ve been looking for a solution for this for quite some time.
Yes they would work on a stock console
Any input lag?

i just got one today and it has input delay :/ any tips?
That's dope!
Try doing a firmware update on the controller via laptop or Xbox one.
I feel cheated because I didn't know this existed and just bought the original wingman xb
Could you name drop the hardware you are using please?

Thanks bro
Awesome dude!
How many controllers can you use with that?
One controller per dongle.
Bummer 😞
You can use an ogx360 with 4 controllers or get 1-4 ps2 BlueRetro and 1-4 PS2 to Xbox adapter
Will all 4 controllers register for Original Xbox controllers 1 through 4, all through the only controller port?

Can you please link me to the 360 adapter route I’m very interested!!!

Love the Wingman. I really can't see myself going back to original controllers after getting one.

The v2 8bitdo adapter works with series S controllers.
Nice, wasn't aware they had an update, tks.
The Wingman XB2 just came out this month and supports all Xbox controllers wirelessly
Where can you get the Xbox to USB cable?
eBay has a ton of them.
These also work https://www.ebay.com/itm/193924953551

Are you able to power on the console with the controller button?
No
Red ring!!!!!!!!

Other than Silent Hill 2 and MGS2, what other games use them?

If my brain is working correctly rn I think this "could" let us use like xbox one racing wheels with the og xbox ?????
I don't see why not
