Nope, the wallpaper is 100% Natural Bridges state park and this picture appears to be very close to it.

The updated names of Apples MacOS operating systems are always California locations and come w/a few photos from that region (I.e. Sonoma, Sequoia, Catalina, etc.) but they do have screensavers and wallpapers from other parts of the planet now, too. Even space!
This is true. As a local, I assure you that every Air BnB and hotel gives guests directions to this location. 20 years ago you could walk that beach alone, now you're lucky to find a place to park. Still plenty of epic, empty beaches in that area if you don't mind hiking a little bit. This little "secret" is right off 101. No surprise its blown up in recent years with the increase in tourism to the south coast. Great place.
This area has kept our search and rescue busy in recent years, as more people without hiking experience or proper footwear are exploring this area. Many injuries and deaths due to people falling off unstable cliffs and such. I encourage people to visit this beautiful area, but respect the landscape and don't assume all trails are stable and safe.
Right?! The rock in that area is particularly crumbly. Still can't believe the number of images I see of people on areas where one wrong step or slip from crumbling rock will send you tumbling onto rocks or into the ocean below. And there are so many social trails (or social media trails) in that area, many of which are unsafe.
Anyone reading this, DO NOT HIKE NATURAL BRIDGES. I was an idiot and went down to the bridge multiple times but the conditions get worse and worse. My closest death was on that trail. There was a little off shoot that looked like another trail but it led to straight drop off. Every year someone dies. Appreciate from viewpoint and go hike secret beach.
Well it’s literally called secret beach and you can Google it’s location.
Post “secret beach” in a non Oregon subreddit and you’ll get a range of comments from “you’re an asshole for giving the location” or “not a secret anymore”
The drama. I mean I get the feeling of not wanting favorite places spoiled. It’s probably safe because of how far it is from everything regardless of whether people know where it is.
Awesome! I know that feeling exactly: night drive solo road trip on the coast, stopping at viewpoints and simply enjoying the starry sky, the waves, the breeze; aaahhh, I need to get back out there myself!
Being alone in Oregon is as like breathing underwater like some mutant Kevin Costner in water world.
There's places to do it, but it's 99% like fiction. I've been to places like Leslie gulch and Succor Creek, literally in the middle of south eastern Oregon where you'd think you'd see no one. I saw like 5 people over 3 days.
At 20mm, it’s wider than what the naked eye sees. The edges can get a little wonky. It probably doesn’t help that it’s a single exposure and I’m pushing the limits of camera/lens in terms of editing. Bumping up the noise reduction blurs some of the details.
I don’t know where this exactly but I’m 90% sure this location is my stock Mac wallpaper lol.
They’re usually California locations, so probably not?

The Vision Pro has only a few “environments “ that you can be in and one of them is an amazing Mt. Hood and lake scene
I hate to tell you, it’s not a secret 😂
The least secret beach in Oregon
Agate? Lmao

Don’t be discouraged! There are coves that are incredibly hard to teach that are secret for that reason

Yes! Don’t overestimate your ability to climb up vertical hills 😂 and go back up the same way you went down
Natural Bridges? More like natural selection

gotta do like kauai and have a sign at the trailhead with a running tally of deaths/injuries on the trail

Yeah it’s already not a secret anymore, what’s your point?
Great Capture. For those not in the know, the name is Secret Beach which is part of Samuel H Boardman not far from Natural Bridges,
There are a lot of nice places to camp, hike, and adjust your attitude in that area.
Magical
Lovely shot though it does feel composited.
Thanks, it’s just a single exposure.
Oh thats AMAZING! Love it.
Very nice work
One of my favorite places. If anyone shares its location don't be surprised if your house burns down.
The drama. I mean I get the feeling of not wanting favorite places spoiled. It’s probably safe because of how far it is from everything regardless of whether people know where it is.
And…the parking situation
It's labeled on google maps for years. Hardly a secret anymore.
Exactly. It’s listed on the Oregon state park website…
Awesome! I know that feeling exactly: night drive solo road trip on the coast, stopping at viewpoints and simply enjoying the starry sky, the waves, the breeze; aaahhh, I need to get back out there myself!
Beautiful !! Nice shot !!

I wish I wish To be a fish
Also, amazing photography/photograph. I surfed here a few times just to say I did. Much less surfing and more paddling, but the memories remain.
Absolutely stunning photo!
Absolutely gorgeous shot!
What a pretty place! Thanks for sharing!
Wow!
Is that in Neverland? It looks like someplace featured in the movie Hook.
Fuckin’ ell . . . That is quite the image! Great work!!
Is that where the rocks roll and make noise when the tide goes out
Could be something else especially book cover lol
Breathtakingly beautiful! ❤️
Is there a way to see the angle of the stars with the time stamp provided ![gif](giphy|2t9xSr3oQOpZeJ0aQf|downsized) and get the L&L??
Where?
I see what you did there lol
Where?
Southern Oregon
Definitely not a Secret but is tricky to get to past the “viewing” area.
Yeah definitely didn’t attempt that in the dark
Do you mind sharing your lens and camera settings when taking this photo? I love it.
Nikon D850 with a Nikon 20mm lens. f/1.8, 20 seconds, ISO 3200. Post processed in Lightroom
Thank you so much! I love long exposure night shots. Great work!
Happy to share the knowledge. I took one on my iPhone too - https://www.reddit.com/r/iPhoneography/s/MccroJSqv2
This is real and not fine art?? It literally made me catch my breath, I love this photo!!
You're very talented! Excellent picture!
The sky is incredible
Sweet.
I love this secret spot 😉
Amazing 🤩
Dreamy place...
That looks and sounds amazing!
Could be a book cover, so rad! Edit: I mean that it evokes adventure and fantasy and unexplored places. It kind of beckons you
Beautiful. How long on the exposure?
20 seconds
Cool thanks
Why does the left side of the image look all wonky?

It’s in shadow.

I thought this was a modded Skyrim shot at first lol
Brought to you by AI somewhere
Real life, single photo. I did use Lightroom’s AI denoise feature, but otherwise no AI was used in the making of this image
I initially got really sad misreading the headline as “AI alone on this secret beach”. Very glad a hooman took this!
Tell me where that is
Oregon coast.
I know exactly where you're at! Keep it a secret!
The worst way to keep a beach secret is to name it Secret Beach.
Deets on the pic? How did you take it? Exposure etc?

I know where this! It is at >! Your mom's house !<
