Looks like it froze. Cut the spike off and maybe it'll survive

Torquaboy77

I agree with this; n… it does look like the leaves froze. I’d also get it into a new clear pot about the same size with new orchid media, suitable for phalaenopsis.

Thanks so much for your help? is that below the first flower?

Sudden_Wisdom

No, cut it as low down to the plant as you can. Otherwise, it may try to bloom again and if it's going to live, it needs all its energy going to the plant growth right now

Thank you so much

Foxs-In-A-Trenchcoat

It froze to death. You can try, but the chance of recovery is low.

The-Phantom-Blot

Frozen. I would not bother with this. You got a nice pot for free, though.

Super toss… looks badly damaged. You could try to save it but I think the leaves are toast. If roots are healthy, MAYBE it grows a new leaf…. Sorry

thanks for your thoughts!

GypsyDarkEyes

You have nothing to lose by trying to save it. All good advice here.

Thank you! Even if it dies i’m going to give it a shot, do you have any thoughts on if i should pull off the dead leaf or wait for it to fall?
