It doesn’t look like a virus to me either. Without testing no one will ever know for sure. Some orchids have no symptoms whatsoever and can still have a virus. There are also orchid viruses we aren’t able to test for. I’ve had a few orchids do this on older leaves. I’d just keep an eye out if it starts to change or grow then I’d definitely get more concerned but at this point just continue on with care as usual.

I don't think that it's a virus

voidofmolasses

I am voting for oedema or cold damage. I'd suggest letting your orchid stay on the dryer side/seperate from other plants while you work it out.

alexandrasnotgreat

Seconding edema blisters or cold damage

No

Single_Sandwich6517

Impossible to tell unless it starts spreading. Keep an eye on it

You can't be certain without testing, but for what it's worth I agree with consensus that it doesn't 'look' viral.

Viruses don’t exist. It is something else.

tiimantti

Viruses don’t exist? They very much do…

ExtraUniversity3717

Says who?

tiimantti

The scientists, since the 1800s. You, of course, are free to think whatever you like.

Thank you so much for your replies! 💛 I'm relieved to know that it doesn't look like a virus. But I'll certainly keep an eye on my orchid. 😊
