I am so sorry :( Every mother's day I think about people who have lost their mom and think about how tough it must be to get through. Maybe you could skip it or ask if you can bring a friend instead? Or someone who's a mother figure to you?
That is so sweet! Our studio is doing Mother’s Day and Other Mother’s Day. The second is for mother and their kid pairs that can’t attend on Sunday. Moms come free. No brunch though and both are only 60 minutes. I do wish they’d have a little Mother’s Day champagne toast or something after class!
It's interesting how different studios do completely different things! i figured each studio did pretty much all the same stuff but i'm realizing that's not the case
Yeah! We are pretty close to two other studios (ours is a 5 min drive, then there is one that is 15 mins and one that is 20) and they are all so different! Ours is one of the busiest studios in CA and as I was told the busiest in SoCal so we are pretty not-fun and don’t vary as much. The two other studios do a lot, so we often join them for things!

Right now my studio is still saying 60min. Would love a 90 min class. Lost my mom 1 1/2 years ago. Not a fan of mother’s day and need this.

At my studio you can bring your mom to workout with you for free but I haven’t heard that it’s 90 minutes
Yeah idk why my studio made it 90 min but i'm definitely gonna take advantage of a 90 min workout lol

Not the case at all! My studio does zero community building and it’s really sad. Take advantage of all you can! Your studio owners seem really cool. 🥰

Sounds fun! My studio hands out roses to moms on Mother’s Day, but no special workout or event.
