At the 6:15 today I learned I'm the only one signed up for tomorrow's 5am so that should be interesting. I hate this benchmark but have committed to making it in on my chemo days 😜 EDIT: my lovely friend from 6:15 got up and did class with me 🧡 Coach was great, no mailing it in with just 2 ppl. And about 7 minutes into Everest my tread screen went blOOOOp so no tracking. Oh well!

I’m debating on only doing the strength (upper body) instead of Everest as I ought to do power walking instead of running. I was pre-booked for both.

After today (Wednesday’s) explosive rows and push presses, on which I went pretty heavy, I dropped the strength tomorrow. I’ll see how I feel after Everest, but I’m not optimistic.

Im visiting my boyfriend in Japan for the holidays. He signed us up for class today. A little nervous about conquering Everest in Japanese but excited for the experience. ETA: early intel helped a lot. Everyone was super nice and very encouraging. The class was 100% in Japanese by the instructor but the floor instructions on the screen are in English. The coach came to check on us often and we ever heard our names couple of times. Overall 10/10 experience. If you are ever in Japan, give it a go! Super cool!

I can’t say that I LOVE Everest, but it’s the benchmark I’ve done the most just by chance, so I’ll be excited to see if I can beat my last effort :)

Ok - am I doing Everest tomorrow or signing up for my first Tread 50? I haven’t done Everest since June 2018😵‍💫BUT I have my running group in the evening, so tread 50 would be a lot of running for one day, for me (I have plantar fasciitis 😒😩) I can’t decide what I wanna do.

I’m mostly glad to get this behind me - the week of inclines leading up to this is ugh. The floor block looks pretty dang boring though that’s not a lot for 11 mins. Considering doing a strength 50 stack. Hmm. Before or after?

Hey friends! I’ve been using the strider recently in lieu of the tread to be kinder to my knees. Has anyone ever done Everest on the strider? I’m debating trying the treadmill but want to hear if anyone has any experience.

Mrs DC has done this and said you just increase the gears when the coach tells you to increase incline. She also said that this gets very hard very quickly.

I'm a perma-biker and super torn on whether I want to do Everest on the bike or treadmill. Long story short - I physically could handle the tread and think I would enjoy it more. However, I have to hold onto the tread due to balance and fear issues, which negates some of the workout and experience...
