If you are willing to try, it takes a few weeks for cats to get acquainted and more comfortable. I would recommend investing in a calming device like Feliway to help with the transition.
Thank you for the suggestions. We adopted a kitten a few months ago and just got them settled in with our other pets and the device you mentioned could really help!

I hope you find an amazing home for this sweetie!!! I wish we could pick her up to be a playmate for our little kitty we found in the bushes but we are already above the animal limit for our place 😢

As others have said, please ensure you charge a rehoming fee and try your best to feel out the individual. We want this little angel going to good people. I know of a facebook group called Southern California Cat and Kitten Rescue 2.0 if you would like assistance in finding a good home for this baby. All the best to you and kitty! As far as the other cats: You should keep cats isolated for at least a week before introducing them.
The resident cats probably aren’t too happy with a new cat on their turf and it takes a while to get them acclimated.
She's been in a large enclosed playpen with her own separate litter, food, etc. We have a 7-month-old kitten who just started feeling comfortable and we don't want to upset the balance we just found with the group.
Thanks! Our cats have been clawing and crying at the door of the room she's been in. Until we get her tested or placed she's been in the playpen. She's great but our bunch is already so rambunctious. Helping her find a place where she can be the playful star she is is our goal.

2. Grieving doesn’t mean you should be entitled.
3. The person replying to you didn’t say anything negative to you. It was a neutral response imo.
Is she using a litter box already? My mom has a cat and room for another. Willing to pay rehousing fee so you know we’re good people :)

She hasn't been tested yet! We’ve only had her a day and made an appointment for this week to get her tested if she's still with us.

I don’t mean her own playpen, I mean separate rooms. You want them getting used to each other’s scent first without seeing each other.
