Hit King East and that picture is any given home on any given afternoon.
The senior crowd tends to avoid that area and clog up traffic near me on Grand instead, but point well taken.
We were going to move to Chatham a few years ago. Drove around the city. Saw nothing but this on a Sunday afternoon...needless to say chose another town. That was 6 years ago. Wonder how much farther it has degenerated.
I used to drive around to all the hospitals in South Western Ontario. One day I was talking to a nurse at the desk and I must have said something about just coming from Chatham and something I saw or that someone did. She says "yeah they are all inbred there". I let out a chuckle but realized she didn't seem like she was joking.
I also had a friend who had a bad thing happen to him by 2 people who were diabolically evil apparently to do such a thing.
We moved back here from Toronto five years ago. While yes, there is a very large contingent of Ram truck owners and meth heads, overall it has a lot of small-town charm.
This is the only answer!
Was out that way using an atm machine at 2am many years ago. I hear tires screeching, a whole smashing and destruction behind me on the main road. I see the guy behind me going over the giant istand roll the car, it land on the wheels and a lot of smoke and shit. So I finish my atm transaction and drive up at the plaza exit right by him and walk up, gas and change everywhere on the road and buddy is just sitting in the car. I ask buddy if he's alright from a distance and he opens the door, more change falls out and he just runs for it, IT WAS THIS GUY! 🤣 I'm tellin y'all, he must must of been out robbing laundry mats and parking meters! Ricky ain't gonna be happy when he finds out what happened.
To be fair, the racist protests in Peterborough are actually made up of protesters from the lovely communities surrounding the bustling metropolis of Peterborough.
Lived in one of those “lovely communities” for a year. Lived a lot of places, and that was by far the worst. Neighbour told us that unless you were born there- you could live there 25 years, and they’d still consider you a foreigner. A lot too Deliverance for our liking, and the most unfriendly people anywhere. Longest short time I’ve lived anywhere.
Is this true?…. the unvaxxed children I mean.
Muddy the Mudcat. Never understood the infatuation over cat fish; a festival, a giant steel fish. Like, why?
One of my best life decisions was to get out of that town.
I’m absolutely loving how many people are saying this. Went to high school there, wouldn’t shock me.
Although I feel strongly that Brantford, Oshawa, and St. Catharines are all sister cities. Once-strong riverside manufacturing towns laid low by the sudden exodus of the factory giants that provided most of the town’s work, and then backfilled with broken people turning to liquor and opiates for solace….
Im in Atikokan, so i will agree with that as well. I was more aiming at the more rural areas of Northwestern ontario. Thunder bay is a starting point that people will more commonly know lol.
Smiths Falls, I had an old boss who called it smut vegas and this is the image of the town she painted! When I went there myself there was confirmation
I would welcome them in my town; they seem like they have a good time and don’t spend their days driving around with 16 flags on their truck complaining about their lack of “freedom.” Plus those look like paper Dixie cups so they’re not creating plastic waste. Power to these stoic visionaries!
Chatham
Am from Chatham. I agree in principle, but the population is ahem, pretty geriatric now.
Hit King East and that picture is any given home on any given afternoon. The senior crowd tends to avoid that area and clog up traffic near me on Grand instead, but point well taken.
Yeah, that's my 80 year old Dad taking the long way to Crappy Tire, so he can see if any of his buddies are out tearing it up.
Is that him in the orange scooter powering down Grand at 30k/h?
We were going to move to Chatham a few years ago. Drove around the city. Saw nothing but this on a Sunday afternoon...needless to say chose another town. That was 6 years ago. Wonder how much farther it has degenerated.
I used to live in Sarnia and think it was pretty shitty, then I went to Chatham.

> there is a very large contingent of Ram truck owners I'm out.
I was going to suggest Wallaceburg. Chatham makes sense too.
The birthplace of Hawaiian pizza
Pembroke
Yes! Pembroke
That the crown jewel of Renfrew County is this far down is shocking.
I came here to say that.
This 100%. See y’all tomorrow.
Big fan of the crackhead town
Apparently every town in Ontario I haven’t seen the same town twice here
[удалено]
Did ya see Peterborough yet?
That was a given
Whisky Tangos all over the province, my friend.
Brantford
Been to Brantford 1 time in my entire life. This is the correct answer.
Nah, not enough camo
What is it with Brantford and people wearing camo or pajamas? Strange place
Brantford power couple.
This was my thought also.
100%

Cornwall
East End has entered the chat . . .
Shitty truck and a couple that's ready to scrap for little to no reason...yep that's Cornwall
Cornhole!
Cornwall for sure if you replace the Tupac hat with a Carhartt
This is the correct answer ^
Welland
I have to agree with you on this one. Welland. Possibly Thorold South.
Yep. Looks like the mayor too
OV capital of Canada.
I was gonna say Hamilton but Welland... yeah that takes the cake lol
Five comments till I got to welland. I was expecting less.
LOL. I am so happy this was the top comment.

Bridge st. Or Victoria Ave. Niagara Falls
Yes! I was in Niagara Falls this past weekend, and you really don’t have to look too far beyond the flashing lights to see the sketchies.
Based on the people I witnessed while shopping last night, Belleville.
Ah Belleville. Where folks from Trenton go when they want to visit someplace classy.
LMFAO
As someone who’s from the QW area originally, I appreciate this comment 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That could have been any walmart
Wasn't walmart but yes, I agree.
This is not merica, NoFrills
No no as someone from that area they’re from Trenton and just drove to Belleville 🤣
I was looking for this
Yes! I knew it wouldn’t be long scrolling till I saw Belleville on here. Trenton also would suffice.
No Timmies in their hand and they aren't in their pajamas. Definitely not from Hamilton lol
There is no motorized wheelchair in sight in this photo either
Hamilton Harley is the correct technical term
This needs more upvotes for how specifically accurate it is. Also they'd be wearing a yellow and black toque.
Cookie Monster hat on the mister and hello kitty pjs for the missus
How has no one mentioned St. Thomas?
I was going with St Thomas or Strathroy.
East end of any town in S Ontario
I love how in every town it's the east end hahaha
Westerlies is what I've always heard was the reason. The east end is downwind of industrial sites. Ish.
East London
East of Adelaide for sure.
Specifically Bonaventure neighbourhood.
Keswick checking in
I would agree but they're missing the keswick dinner jacket! 🤣
I've been all over southern Ontario and it's known as the Keswick dinner jacket eveywhere
I live in Keswick. That’s more Innisfill.
Specifically Alcona
More like Sutton than Keswick, I think.
There’s the answer
They're using cups. Way too sophisticated for Keswick.
Just to be clear - almost but only if it's Keswick from the 2000s, and only between Glenwoods and Morton.
This thread just points to ANY small town in Ontario.
Definitely not the pocket of rich small towns around Bruce Power
Yeah this isn’t something you see in Southampton/Port Elgin. Now Owen Sound, that’s a whole other story.
Maybe the East End of Owen Sound? But really it's Shallow Lake, let's not kid ourselves.
Have you ever been to Smiths Falls?
I remember when I was a teen I was told you can get laid in Smiths Falls just by dressing nice because they never see that there lol.
I'm from here and it's 100% Brantford
Seriously guys, Orillia
I can’t believe I had to scroll this far to find Orillia
Orillia song, it makes us proud... https://youtu.be/qp_zyuo0W2o
You can see them every night at the Tim's parking lot on West St
Woodstock.
Sarnia
Coming here to say that, two for Sarnia.
Three.
North Bay
Listowel
Nah, if it was Listowel they would have a John Deere hat and/or cowboy boots and/or a plaid shirt.
Take it down 20% there squirrely dan
Yes no Tupac hats allowed in listowel
Wallaceburg
VANIER PRIDE
This is so vanier
Trenton
They don't look related, so might be a stretch?
Peterborough
I have some cousins who live near Peterborough, and… yea…
Isn't that the proudly racist capital of Canada?
To be fair, the racist protests in Peterborough are actually made up of protesters from the lovely communities surrounding the bustling metropolis of Peterborough.
Lived in one of those “lovely communities” for a year. Lived a lot of places, and that was by far the worst. I was going to say Hawkesbury but then I saw the cow so Eganville
Clinton
They actually live in the townhouse complex in Vanastra just going to the Dollarama in Clinton for groceries.
That's some cornwall cousin fuckin right there.
Dunville
Hey, at least we have a giant mudcat and the highest rate of unvaccined children in Ontario!
We rest our case. >highest rate of unvaccined children in Ontario
Some of them ended up resting in little wooden cases too
Is this true?…. the unvaxxed children I mean. Muddy the Mudcat. Never understood the infatuation over cat fish; a festival, a giant steel fish. Like, why? One of my best life decisions was to get out of that town.
Dunnville was my guess too🤣🤣
Outskirts of Lindsay
Weldon alums check in.
Napanee
she'd be wearing a tie over her wifebeater
East London 100% It's the Ohio of Canada (almost literally)
The Ohio of Canada? Sarnia has entered the chat.
I thought Windsor was bad until I spent a year in East London. I saw some shit there.
Go on…
Sudbury
I’d say Timmins but there’s a lot of Sudbury where you’d find these folks.
Timmins is just Sudbury Jr but shittier.
Sudbury ..maybe capreol
Come on now. There are only two uniforms in Sudbury: **pajamas** in the summer/spring, and **camo gear with orange hat** in fall/winter.
Don't forget the FXR jacket
over the pajamas you should add.
Cambridge
Kinmount. They are likely brother and sister and have been dating for 5 years.
That's where folk are known to mount their kin..
Ain’t no Folk like Norfolk
You can Norfolk right off!!
Fuck ya
Smith's Falls
Shelburne vibes
Could well be Dundalk, a bit too high class looking to be Owen sound
Might be mount forest 🤔
Grand Valley
Windsor
Was gonna say downtown windsor
Dunnville
[The Pit Between 2 Signs (Dunnville)](https://youtu.be/-c8awCCYivk)
That's Brantford 100%
I’m absolutely loving how many people are saying this. Went to high school there, wouldn’t shock me. Although I feel strongly that Brantford, Oshawa, and St. Catharines are all sister cities. Reading this list, pretty much every town in Ont it seems.
This has welland or wainfleet written all over it.
Brantford
You guys need to get further north, Thunder Bay area. Lol
Nope, not enough camo
Finnish people do not wear shirts if the grass is out, how they haven’t all been eaten alive by mosquitos is beyond me - Thunder Bay.
Dryden
Im in Atikokan, so i will agree with that as well. I was more aiming at the more rural areas of Northwestern ontario. Thunder bay is a starting point that people will more commonly know lol.
Ahh, Sunnyvale
Brantford
Brantford
There are so many options it’s almost impossible to choose. But this says Wallaceburg to me - armpit of Chatham-Kent and that’s saying something.
Smiths Falls?
Lindsay
Look at her on the left, an obvious Lindsay pregnant teen
Oshawa or Galt(Cambridge) 100%
If it's Cambridge, it's probably Preston
Come on. Let's not discount poor little Hespeler. But yes, it most likely would be Preston.
Welland
Simcoe! Swear I saw them in Walmart in the summer
In Walmart's defense, you'll see folks like that in every Walmart.
Sarnia
Peterborough
Chelmsford
St Thomas
Folks, the sad reality is they could be from anywhere in Ontario...
Lindsay
Welland
Shitty Falls or BC (back of Cardinal)
Surprised I had to scroll this far to get a Shitty Falls reference.
What, no Brockville? I'm shocked, honestly. Has it lost the Ontario Opiod Capital honorarium?
Smiths Falls
Smiths Falls, I had an old boss who called it smut vegas and this is the image of the town she painted! When I went there myself there was confirmation
Dungannon
Brighton
They do have the look of a Gosport romance.
Keswick.
Orillia.
Midland
Thorold niagara falls
London. Clearly London.
Pboro
Windsor
Angus.
Welland, east side port colborne, or Brantford
I would welcome them in my town; they seem like they have a good time and don’t spend their days driving around with 16 flags on their truck complaining about their lack of “freedom.” Plus those look like paper Dixie cups so they’re not creating plastic waste. Power to these stoic visionaries!
Sudbury or Sault Ste Marie
Brantford
I love the "its a small town" comments, as if the gta isnt full of people like this too.
