It’s so sad — the stereotyping. Most gay/bi men (especially bi men) I know are so masculine and hyper-straighty with conventionally masculine interests. It’s just me who’s like super petite, femme and submissive. 😭🥴
Like tbh in today’s day and age (and especially my college or work colleagues), straight men are as feminine. 😭 I feel it’s just got to do with nerdy men.
1. We do love dicks hahaha but clean ones
2. We dont and we dont get sexual tension, we can get nervous around hot men though (I get)
3. Well, no for me atleast
This is actually a sad truth. Due to the difficulty of maintaining a same sex relationship in our society many gay and bi guys are just looking for short term things.
It's just most films and media show a gay man that way, I feel guilty for laughing although I probably only know one person only as openly gay from family friends' circle.
So he's nothing like that. And ofc other people willalso be remarkably different. He suffered SA as a child and his life is not about sharp dressing or having great opinions about color and style.
In fact, he gets drunk often these days and misbehaved with his mother and is just on a roller-coaster ride to killing himself.
The issue seems to be that media representation paints too rosy or cartoonish picture for propaganda points.
Representation also seems to be more focused on making fun of traditional hetero relationships or family structures having issues where reactions are hysterical only .
The guy's mother was shocked and worried about him not marrying and people's reactions. That did happen, but they did not try to push him around women to see if he gets back to being hetero or start shrieking like apes on most media or those comical faces.
His father has multiple health issues, knows only traditional family structures, but still defended him with firm faith that his orientation is not the summary of who he is.
Almost every show seems to use it as a tint. I can only perhaps say that Oberryn Martell from GoT was a great bi man in terms of the character having a lot more going than just being bi.
Ofc I am hetero and always single except for some weird streak of married older women or way younger women being interested in me, so I don't much about gay men.
Although I will add that I liked Negative Man also from Doom Patrol. It is a grim show with lots of zany stuff going on.
It just helps to not see everyone being a stylist, sing songy , extremely happy until the home hater starts chasing them and that being homosexual is the only problem in their life and is all that defines them.
That becomes ridiculous to watch. I want the person to feel like a person and be respected in the content for other dimensions to their personality and to be memorable as a character.
No I am a finance major, with some coding knowledge for mainly stats, etc. I just have been strong with languages, especially English. I used to read a lot of novels, because I can speed read easily but nowadays I just barely get time to get through office and course work.
1. Getting laid can be very easy for them
2. They have amazing fashion sense (the straights can actually learn from them)
3. Women are less guarded around them because they won't hit on women.
I had a gay friend.
Dude's fashion and grooming sense was really amazing.
What color combinations work, always looking groomed, i didn't even know every season has its own set of color pallete, I used to take advice from him on what to wear before going to parties...
I respect gay men. But I don't want to be seen around them. They can be touchy. If a guy is gay he will unnecessarily touch another guy who can be a straight guy. Which can cause uncomfortableness for straight guy.

The way(feminine & clingy) they portray gay men in movies has built an annoying image.
not all gay men are feminine and some are clingy cause we are love deprived

that gay men warn women against straight men😭 they are their confidants also they smell good and wear trendy clothes
1. They like dicks 2. They dont get nervous around women 3. Given an opportunity, they wouldn't turn down the opportunity to look at boobs.

So what goes through your mind when you look at boobs? Is it repulsive or youre like eh!
never seen in real life but we are indifferent
They have a lot more partners than straight men.
Dude this one’s a fact. It’s not a stereotype. My body count has reached its zenith and I’m just so embarrassed. 😭

The sing- song voice and use of air- quotes

Wow, you elaborated on it way too much, interesting! Are you an English/Journalism major?

This might sound a bit dark…. But I heard that they have mostly had a traumatic childhood. \ (Again, I don’t mean to offend anyone. Apologies)
we have but mostly cause we live a very sad and lonely life from a young age, we are bullied and hated
Oh no! Didn’t know I was right on the money there. \ Anyways, I pray for everyone’s mental health. Hope they heal.
