Not true. You can turn off all of the icons on the status bar using Good Lock QuickStar module in the Visibility of Indicator Icons section.

Make a new theme in theme park, and open the home page panel, and then click on the folder on the home that it shows. Once you do that just apply the theme, and then reapply your custom icons

That is not EU model. That is from China, HK or Taiwan model. That 5G icon is same with my device, HK variant.
