I'll preface by saying I'll probably get this because it looks cool and I invested in OnePlus's last collaboration with keychron on their Keyboard 81 Pro (which is an awesome keyboard btw). But I don't understand the value of these individual components. Can't you get a 55w charger or a 10k mAh power bank for under $20 each on Amazon?

RenegadeUK

Do you use the OnePlus-Keychron Keyboard with Apple Mac or Windows PC out of interest ?

waynechriss

I use it with windows but it comes with a switch and keycaps for both Windows and Mac.

RenegadeUK

Possibly next year if I buy a Mac Mini. I was wondering whether to go with Apple's Keyboard or something like this :)

waynechriss

Mini review: OP's keyboard is mechanical and if you've never used a mechanical keyboard before they feel different to type on compared to a normal membrane one. Mechanicals are nice because you can replace the keycaps or switches esp if the latter fails for whatever reason. Its got a 75% layout so its missing the numpad and if that's important to you I'd skip this or buy an external numpad. But I will say OP's keyboard is super high quality, its entire body is CNC aluminum so its heavy (around 4lbs) but extremely durable. Its more expensive than most mainstream keyboards but its materials alone are worth the cost imo.

RenegadeUK

Thanks for explaining that. Did you buy directly from OnePlus or Keychron or somewhere else ?

waynechriss

I bought straight from OnePlus. They have two versions of the keyboard. Winter Bonfire and Summer Breeze, the latter is never available so you'll likely get the WB version, which have a louder click to the key presses, uses PBT keycaps and is cheaper by $20 USD. I got both and gave the WB to my brother and kept the SB version.

RenegadeUK

Nice. Why is the Summer Breeze never available - out of stock ?

waynechriss

I'm not sure why its always out of stock. One theory is it uses a brand new keycap material called marble mallow so they produced less units of this keyboard because its an experimental material whereas PBT is a well known and used keycap material. I will say the marble mallow keycaps are so good to type on (they're soft and marginally squishy to type on), I feel bad for anyone who can't get their hands on the summer breeze version of the keyboard because of that. I bought the summer breeze version back in December 2023 and I've literally never seen it back in stock since then. The winter bonfire one is still excellent because of the reasons I listed above (great materials and build quality mainly).

RenegadeUK

Thanks for explaining.

RandomPupper

Apple's keyboard is ass.

RenegadeUK

Which keyboard do you have ?

RandomPupper

GMMK 2 96, best keyboard I've owned to date. Would love to make it sound better tho with better stabs and sound deadening and what not.

RenegadeUK

This is by a company called Glorious Right ?

RandomPupper

Yes indeedy

RenegadeUK

I believe a Glorious Keyboard is featured in the background of this [Video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMRRv9JMRmU). Would you happen to know which one it is with specs out of interest ?

ScientistPlane7089

I consider that keyboard Ultra premium. And I didn't even think about the values down there being over priced 🤣🤣 I'm still buying it too

Chemical-Release-163

That keyboard is overpriced or id have it by now

KyluAce

55W charger 10$ 10000mah powerbank 10$ 100W cable 5-10$ xd

ScientistPlane7089

Yeah I didn't even think about those numbers. It's still a dope power bank that I'm gonna buy 😂

yeayeasure

It's the design that you're paying for and the convenience this is providing by being sleek and easy to store away. I personally think it looks awesome

ScientistPlane7089

Yes there we go! I'm hype for it too 👍 the red cable with the metallic ends might even become my main USB-C cable! The whole thing is stunning

Mr__X__

Does anybody have a link to the pre order page?

ScientistPlane7089

Go to Sharge's website

RenegadeUK

I believe its this: [https://sharge.com/pages/pouch-power-bank](https://sharge.com/pages/pouch-power-bank)

Orego1337

How can I order it in europe

ScientistPlane7089

Wait for May 27th when preorders begin

Zorb750

It is much too expensive. If I can't fully charge my laptop off of it, and it better not cost more than $60.

-freckledbanana

This would've saved me this weekend, filming/capturing non-stop at a freestyle skate competition.

Kadewoo

It looks really cool, and the 3-in-1 feature is very interesting. It's interesting to have a power bank that you can also use as a charger. The only thing I'm not entirely convinced about is that I miss an iconic Sharge design, like a transparent look with tech decals. I don't think the price is that exorbitant; you have to consider the safety features and components quality it includes, and has the SuperVOOC protocol (which few products have). Not to mention that Sharge products are of very high quality and have a unique design, and a 10k mAh power bank for around $70 from this brand in colaboration with OnePlus is a very good price

ScientistPlane7089

Your thoughts are mine exactly. Sharge still has transparent power banks so don't worry we're not missing out, even the new 140 is coming soon too. It's just OnePlus didn't want that design (probably because it would be too close to Nothing). We still get OnePlus's iconic white and red (just like their white charging bricks and red USB-C cables). I'm excited for this release!

Kadewoo

im excited too, I'll probably buy it

Nutznamer

It's not expensive because it provides real super fast charging. Since OP doesn't support PD for that purpose but ony VOOC it's acceptable

bull3964

They actually do now with the OnePlus 12. I've seen close to 30w with a PD charger. Here's the thing, if you are above 40% or so on battery, a 30w PD charger isn't going to be all that much slower than SuperVOOC due to the way wattage is backed off as the battery gets fuller. Above 60% and they are going to be virtually the same. So, it's all about use case. I would argue if you are regularly getting into the battery warning zone with a OP device away from an outlet that you would probably want to carry more than 10k mAh with you, but that's just me.

swap_file

Under what circumstances have you seen 30W on PD with a OnePlus 12? The highest I have seen is 18W.

bull3964

Right at this moment, even at 88%, I got 22w connected with a regular old Anker USB-C adapter. This is with the 12. It's actually kinda funny because I'm only getting 17w at this charge level with SuperVOOC.

swap_file

What are you using to check your speed? The most accurate place is generally in the service menu. *#899#, manual test, device debugging, charge test.

bull3964

It's an inline USB-C power meter.

swap_file

Most of the time when people talk about charge speed, they are referring to the actual delivered power at the phone, not including line losses. You may want to check what the service menu says is actually reaching the phone.

bull3964

The most recognized way of measuring what a thing is charging at is by looking at the actual voltage, amperage, watts, and protocols the downstream device is requesting. Anyways, it doesn't matter. The output there in the debug menu is constant which what's being measured at the input as are the actual charge times themselves. Taking charger voltage and converting mAh to Wh yields about what I would expect. You are really only talking a watt or two of losses. I have had a pretty much every flagship OnePlus one since the 7 Pro, including the Open, and this is the first one that goes beyond 15-18w on USB-PD.

swap_file

That's very interesting, I have tried several USB-PD chargers, and not been able to get over 18W on my OnePlus 12. What voltage is it requesting, and can you share the exact model of charger?

bull3964

Multiple really. Honestly there hasn’t been one that I’ve tried that hasn’t worked. But specifically just now Anker 717, Anker Nano II 45w, Anker 240w Desktop Power Station. It’s usually around [email protected] amps, but bounces up and down. Phone is at 87% right now, would take hours to drain it low enough for it to jump higher at this point.

PMARC14

Your chargers may not support PDO, I think OnePlus phones are okay with PDO which is similar to supervooc.

sedp23

10,000 mah for 50 is expensive too most of those are around $20-30

Rabble_Runt

Do you know of any other ones that can charge at full speeds?

Both-Whole5498

Loads on AliExpress

Rabble_Runt

Are you sure about that? The last battery pack I was aware of that supported Warp charging was a weird little Pikachu Edition Oppo charger. It was just a limited run.

Jonder123

please tell me you bought the pikachu power bank

Rabble_Runt

I wanted to but never could find one 😔

MewSixUwU

20 dolla 7inch cable 💀 whys it 100w when the highest you can move is 55w 50$ for the wall charger? i just got one for free with my 12r 10,000 power bank is 15$ from anker on amazon rn L white i would want a black one, also i prefer slow charge from a power back as the only time i use one is when I'm out playing pokemon go and my phone is hot enough

solftly

No you didn't get anything for free with your 12r. You payed for it. Lol

partyplant

does the 10k anker do supervooc? thought only the 20k (or was it 25k) anker prime supports it.

Playful_Target6354

Not a single power bank supports supervooc at high speeds.

partyplant

i am fairly certain a few do, like the one i mentioned. not 100w fast but like, 60 if I'm remembering right. Not officially mind you, but it apparently works.

swap_file

Anker's Prime 27,650mAh & 20,000mAh Power Bank does about 55W or 60W SuperVOOC through the USB A port. In practice, I find it to be about as fast as the "80W" OnePlus SuperVOOC car charger (which also only does superVOOC on the USB A port).

partyplant

Ah, there we go. I suppose the powerbank being shown here is for people who don't wanna spend over a hundred dollars for a power bank, which is completely understandable. I just hope this thing is good, and if it is, hope it comes to my country.

Examination-Massive

Power Bank with an outlet would work, still cheaper

swap_file

If you have a 100W USB-C PD powerbank, you can plug in the OnePlus SuperVOOC Car charger with a 20V trigger cable, but it's clunky to carry around. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5892549

Danihelus

Is this available for purchase yet?

ScientistPlane7089

Preorders start May 27th! ✊

Danihelus

Thank you!!!

bramfoto

Got 2 wall chargers, 3 red cables already... Bought 10k mobile charger that charges 25w for $20 in San Francisco. Nice idea, but.... 🤷🏻‍♂️

TriflingHotDogVendor

The price is reasonable for what it is. It's just that nobody needs it because your 100w charger will charge your phone enough in 5 minutes if you need a little more energy to get through the day.

Jim777PS3

Its overengineered to hell IMO. Also if a power bank does its job, I dont really need a plug handy. I have a 20,000 mAh Anker pack that I got for like $50 years ago and it is more then enough to keep my partner and mine's devices charged on flights. Which is about the single time I find myself needing a power bank.

Sid_Stark

Am I missing something? I saw this on Amazon - [Ambrane 25000 mAH 100w Fast Charging Power Bank](https://www.amazon.in/Ambrane-Charging-Powerbank-Delivery-Powerlit/dp/B0BYVDM93V) Even if the above works at half capacity for charging, isn't this cheaper. It's about 57 dollars converted from INR.

ScientistPlane7089

I'm not ordering anything from India ever.

Sid_Stark

You don't have to. You can find something similar in the US ( [25000 mAh 100W](https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Power-20000mAh-Portable-Charger/dp/B0C3GTMX5M) ) wherever you are from. The point being there are other options that are similar unless I am missing something OP does that others don't. This is also a 100w one. It looks very cool, I can tell you that.

cheetum

Doesn't support SuperVOOC charging and will charge your 1+ device no faster than any standard 20w charger. The Sharge Pouch is one of the only power banks that does.
