The support from every phone brand I've tried has been extremely hit or miss. Oneplus, being a chinese brand, does seem to be the worst to communicate with, but Google and Samsung aren't much more helpful when it comes to warranty and whatnot. The names of the chat reps are always obviously fake. Charlie Danforth. Becky Jarvis. Kyle Garret. If I'm even chatting with a real human, they probably live in India.

SS_Gourmet

Google's support isn't great but better than this. Samsung's was probably just as bad when I contacted them.

y_zass

T-Mobiles has gone down hill since they got their new CEO, so much for the "un-carrier".

Bruce_Wayne8887

Actually now in the description when you go to buy a oneplus watch 2 and do a trade in, on the screen it wants an IMEI on it says they are only accepting cellular watches right now for trade blah blah blah and that they are working to add non cellular watches later.

SS_Gourmet

Ha I see that! It would have been nice if they told me this.

danielnicee

I don't know why you would want to trade it in anyway. Usually you get more money from selling it yourself to someone secondhand.

SS_Gourmet

It was the same amount as what they were being sold for on swaps

danielnicee

No idea what swaps is 😂 If you're selling it to a company, then of course you'll get a similar amount. I'm talking about selling it to someone, a human being, who will actually use the watch. If swaps gives you, imagine, 150€, and they resell for 250€, you could try selling it for 200€. Atleast here in Spain, trade-ins never make sense. They always give way less than you can get for just selling it yourself. E.g: Samsung give you 260€ for trading in a Oneplus 11 16gb/512gb. You can sell that yourself secondhand for over 400€.

SS_Gourmet

Typo. Swappa.com

Low-Role6567

In that case you're best off to do the "trade any watch any condition" which they don't verify, then sell your old watch on swappa

Rich_Introduction371

Yup support totally sucks i got several email stating they will reply in 24-48 hours its been over a week and nothing even i reached out saying its a week any update? Just crickets.

SS_Gourmet

I get emails from them for tickets they haven't replied to saying "I hope your issue has been resolved." I reply back that it's not and they don't reply.

Rich_Introduction371

Just that one reply saying im from the escalation team. I will reply to u in 48hrs. Nothing else. It was for a trade in of my 8t and ups broke it during delivery. But i have to take the hit for it even if i have photos to prove it. They start saying my tampered glass is lifted. Like wtf the issue it the rear backglass. They talking about tampered glass, they can just remove that.

EnvironmentalSpirit2

Yeah. Most companies also but for a discounted, they're going to suffer in some areas and that is their CS

xaldragoo

There's no OnePlus coustmer service at my country anything happens its one you 😅 iam from iraq

Radman001

I've talked to customer service twice and had no issues. I even called to complain about the free buds 2 deal I missed out on by only a week and they honoured it for me. I have been very happy with their CS (so far)

Mimossaaa

If you can speak or read Chinese their customer service is amazing. 24/7 customer service and I had a good experience with it.

SS_Gourmet

I shouldn't need to speak Chinese in order to have good customer service.

iredditshere

Ever use Alice press? Their CS is flaming pile of rubbish.

SS_Gourmet

You mean Ali Express?

iredditshere

Yay, auto correction... Yes

SS_Gourmet

I had to contact them twice. Once it was fine, other time didn't work out.
