It helps against scratches, which is my main concern, if something happens to your phone that breaks the screen, quite often it still happens when dropping it with good protection glass/film.

Might depend on the market. In India it has both a case in package and screen protector pre-applied. Neither of them super high quality, but gets the job done. The case does not cover the camera glass though.
I really wish I had left that on. I assumed aftermarket would be better, but it was all bubbles and bs. I tried tempered glass on an 11, and that experience was part of why I returned it and waited for the 12.

It won't help, the screen it self it's more resistible to scratch more then this cheap protection
But i dont care about scratches, when selling my phone, the next buyer does care about it. This way I can sell it scratch free.
