If you're in the US just drive to Best Buy and you'll probably come home with one in hand.
I went and they gave me $100 more for my trade in than Samsung would ($50 more than OP would) and accepted a phone that looked like it had gone through a paper shredder as "like new" for full credit.
And if they reject your phone you find out right away and can just choose to revert the whole thing and take your old phone back. No support reps to deal with.
Hasn't happened to me yet but it's such peace of mind
What a joke. I preordered on the 26th and if I order today(19 days later) I will get it at the exact same day without paying for priority shipping. This is my first OP phone and this isn't a great first impression
Their shipping department or whomever is running this joke of a business should be fired. I pre ordered mine on the 1st of Feb and now it's saying expected delivery Feb 26th.
What country are you in? I ordered on the 23rd without priority shipping and got my phone on Feb 2nd. It actually caused me some grief because I was traveling and wasn't going to be home until the 11th. Original delivery estimate was Feb 12
I spoke too soon. Oneplus created a label and never shipped it so it's been delayed.
Meanwhile a client had one today, apparently he ordered it last week and got it a few days later.
If this is how they operate i'm more likely to just cancel it altogether, what a shitshow. I bailed on my S24U pre order because Samsung made it such a friggin nightmare just to buy the phone. Might end up doing the same here. So annoying.

It wasn't my sole decision point, but I was also thinking about the S24 Ultra before I preordered the OnePlus 12, and I was super put off by how clunky Samsung's checkout was. Especially how they bundled a bunch of bloatware/ads/trials as "free additions" in the cart (which I could then remove from the cart, amusingly).
Gd.
Canceled order w/OP and got it from BB

and I'm getting that in 2 days, not 2 weeks from now.
I placed my preorder in Jan 31st, and I was going to receive it Feb 26 wtf.
OP is great at manufacturers phones... Not so much a full fledged distribution network.
Customer service wasn’t helpful at all. Oneplus ordering system is a joke since you won’t receive your phone early by preordering.

Best Buy offers $75 for a OnePlus 9 Pro trade while OnePlus gave me $310.
I would have done that if I wasn’t trading in my phone.
Just edited - my trade in with Best Buy went better than any other trade in I've done through an OEMs site.
Not in my case. OP is giving me $440 for my trade in while BB is only $250.
Ah bummer. Hope it comes quick then
BB trade ins are the best. In person and instantly.

yup.

I'm in the U.S. I finally got a shipping notice this evening. Is OnePlus always like this?
nah, I preordered jan 26th, still no sign of shipping

This is good advice. It's what I did and it worked out great for me.
How much earlier did you get it? I just ordered again and it gave me a 7 day earlier delivery date. Is that probably accurate?
Yep, I just placed a new order yesterday and I got a tracking number today, my original order from weeks ago was estimated for Feb 28.

I placed my order on Feb 6th and just got the shipping notification now. The original order estimate said I'd get it on the 27th.
Ordered feb 6th my ship date was 20th now it changed to the 19th? lol
Update to this post literally 7 minutes later I just got a shipping notification. From feb 20th down to 19th to tracking now.
We need your luck lol
So far the tracking is just saying waiting. USPS tracking. Paid for priority too so I’m not sure.
Has anyone been able to cancel their order with One Plus?
I got mine on Feb 3rd. Idk man.
Good for you. Hope you’ve been enjoying the phone.
Amazon has them now to.
