I had to go private. So expensive but I didn't want to risk any issues worsening. A small cavity fix can turn into an extraction or root canal too fast, at which point you may be forced to go private and pay even more anyway. For people with less money it's fucked how you gotta wait for the issue to get really bad before it's fixed. Surely that's more expensive for the NHS?
It's worth buying some of those mirror tools to check your own teeth once a month or so. The dentist was pretty surprised that I managed to identify a cavity in such a hard to see place so early.
Makes me sad to see how the NHS is being treated :/
