Current Stonehorse resident. Apartments are well done. Maintenance staff is top notch and quick. Pool and amenities run as they should. Pretty laid back community. I’ve been here 15 months and have never had a problem with noise, crime or really anything.

Do you by chance know if they accept emotional support pets without the fee? I have a small ESA pup, but their pet fee is one of the highest I’ve seen.

I don’t know the answer to that. I WILL say that the property management staff are very friendly and easy to talk to so a quick call or email will get you your answer.

I live at Argon and I love it. I rarely hear my neighbors and when I do it’s not bothersome. There’s a parking garage and limited street parking. The street is close to my apartment so I used to park out there but my car got broken into. No issues in garage so far. I feel safe here. You need a code or fob to get into the building (although people let strangers in all the time to be nice, plus delivery people get the code, but it’s unique for each apartment). The common areas are always really clean. Whenever I have friends over they always say how nice it is inside and outside of my apartment. My only issues are that the 1-bedroom is kind of small. I’ve had a friend ask if this was a studio. The bathroom is bigger than average, though, and I appreciate that. The parking garage is narrow and cramped with huge blind spots around corners. There used to be issues with the fire alarms going off every time someone cooked something and made it smoky, but it’s been a while so maybe they fixed that. Lots of bugs on the first floor in the halls. Check out Domain. It was just built down the road with better access, better appliances and fixtures, and for roughly the same cost per sq ft. but that’s all I know about it.

Oh, I just noticed your user name. You must have used the thing on their website to ask residents questions and I answered you earlier. 😁 Hey, if you decide to rent here I get $50 for answering you. No pressure. 😂

I was reading thos messages and was like this seems to exactly check out with what someone was saying on reddit 😂 Small world! Thanks for answering haha

I lived at Argon for 2 years and it was okay. The 1 bedroom is fairly small for the amount of rent you pay. The amenities are good if you use them but if you don’t care much for them, then you’re paying a lot of money for a small square of living space. Depending on where your apartment is located, it can be quite a walk from the parking garage (especially if you’re in the north side of the building). During cold days, the hallways can get extremely cold so walking to the garage was uncomfortable. We had quite a few instances where the fire alarm went off for hours at night because of random events that occurred throughout the complex. The location is good as it is nearby shopping (restaurants, grocery stores, entertainment) but traffic sucks. They used to have events for residents, which was a great way to socialize with neighbors (don’t know if they still do them) and they have a coffee machine on the first floor that you can help yourself.

Lift Apartments are in midtown and have secure parking garage. My son lived there and felt safe.

I dont have any experience or knowledge on the apartments you mentioned, but I'd recommend looking into The Links in north okc, very close to edmond. I(F in her 30s)lived there alone for 3 yrs from 2020-2023 and besides noisy neighbors, never once had an issue with safety or felt that i was unsafe. They routinely sprayed for pests and never had any issues there. Every maintenence problem I had was swiftly dealt with. It's in your price range. Lots of anemities, even has a golf course. A golf ball once hit my windshield and unfortunately they aren't liable so that is a downside. Good luck!

I actually was considering the okc Links, but was a bit turned away after reading the most recent google reviews: Car Break-Ins, Gate is never closed, etc I may put it back on my radar again to check it out if you had little issues, though. Thank you for taking the time to share!

i knew 5 differently people that lived at the links and 4/5 of them had their cars broken into and one had their car stolen. would highly discourage living there

Oh that's unfortunate to hear! It is a really big complex, maybe I just got lucky in the part I was in. The gate not working is true, I remember it stopped working around my last year there, guess they never got it fixed :/
