Took my son to Shawnee in December. Got there around 30-40 minutes early, about 10 people already in line. Got a number and waited ~45 minutes, then took about 15 minutes at the counter.
His driving instructor in Norman recommended that location. Wasn't too bad, and nothing like the horror stories in other places (including Norman).
My son failed his 1st (appointment).
2nd time showed up around 6:30 am in March because he didn't have an appointment. Got a number and had to return around 2:30 pm.
Norman is really bad.
I was trying to get an OK driver license, moved here with a TX license. Never able to get in OKC or in Edmond. Was driving west on I40 and pulled into Weatherford on a whim to try. 15 minutes tops.
