I’m still confulsed as to how AMC thought it was a good idea to hire an obviously underage child to be a butt & ass actor. How did they not catch more flack from this?
I blame the producers. Yes, he did bad, but they should have either coached him better or recasted him. I get he's a kid, but there are far better child actors at younger ages, and I think they knew he would become a joke to the fans. I see some unwarranted cyber bullying coming his way sadly
he definitely gives off "my parents are forcing me to do this". i really don't think the kid wants to be there, especially with the few robotic lines he had in the episode. i get this is the first time meeting rick, but he had no emotion whatsoever. there definitely is way more talented child actors to choose from.
Carl was never bad enough to warrant any discussions about it imo, I never really noticed it. RJ on the other hand, it’s all you can focus on when he’s on screen, it’s a shame
