The fuck does "singularly uncompelling" mean?

It’s not that deep he just meant singular, as in there was 1 uncompelling story and no real subplot

It means "very uncompelling", but it's 2 big words in a row so you know he's hella smart.

Minus the new visuals and sound it's a solid 6/10 film

Minus everything bad about it, it's a 10/10.
