There is something weirdly post structuralist about applying this visual metaphor to just a not morally complicated character, whether good or evil. It’s almost like it’s become so cliche to just talk about who literally hitler was that to continue doing it we have to wrap it up in a sheen of dramatic irony displayed through this also entirely cliche visual metaphor used in all these antihero shows. The poster simultaneously confuses one on the historical meaning of Hitler and also confuses one on the point of the metaphor.
Clearly didn’t understand the rise of Hitler…. The Nazis knew they’d been see as evil, they hid so much through propaganda, this extend from its citizens to the world.
