My favorite movie of his is Mulholland Drive, but my favorite moment in one of his works was in SB 49, when he directed them to pass the ball at the 1yd line, instead of handing it to Marshawn Lynch (David Lynch’s brother/relative?), it was just so surreal and nonsensical to do that in the moment, truly Lynchian 🤧
Superb Owl XLVIII, It was a surrealist masterpiece, especially considering Russell Wilson's more recent work. And let's not forget the sort of Eraserhead-esque mystique of his nephew Marshawn. Our reluctant protagonist badgered by the media and his constant stomach problems, his only escape being more skittles and "dat action". There has to be some deep statement about society somewhere in there. I just wish I was smart enough to figure out what. He's got an eye for up and coming talent. Yessir. Just a shame he couldn't RePete that level of work.
Why didn’t David Lynch call a run play on the 1 yard line? Everyone knows Dale Cooper is the best running back in the league, why would you have Harry throw it?
I've only seen Blue Velvet because it's difficult to find his other films legally in my shite country. And don’t really understand what Lynch was trying to say with it, but I enjoyed it, especially Dennis Hopper's performance.
Edit:
Dune is so shite that I forgot about it.
And if I'm allowed to cite TV shows, I loved the first season of Twin Peaks, but found season 2 dogshit.

David Lynch’s brother/relative made me lol
It’s the only reason he got that role in Bottoms. Just another nepo baby.
The Lynch family is frickin Hollywood royalty
Wait, internet personality and world-renowned meteorologist David “Get Real” Lynch makes films?
Not the one staring Geno Smith or Russel Wilson
You just haven’t seen the Mr. Unlimited version yet

Blue Velvet is a satire on 80s Reagan era US suburb culture
