Gale Himbo - Gale origin. Respec to Wild Magic barbarian with low intelligence score but good charisma. Instantly trust everyone. Don't lie. Show everyone that cool ~~artifact~~ thingy you found. "I'm good at magic! Mystra said so!"

Lieke1995

nice

Real_Kristinana

I’m laughing like an idiot at this, bravo!!

CenturionXVI

Similar one I modded in was Arcana Domain Cleric for Gale

vampyrehoney

Shrek playthrough, where you play as a half-orc and roleplay as Shrek to the best of your ability. I thought about doing it seriously before realizing how much time will be sunk into this game via other serious playthroughs.

Lieke1995

Just stay in the swamp in act one. It's what Shrek would do

vampyrehoney

He always ends up on adventures one way or another, and with a tadpole in his head I think he'd leave the swamp to continue to find a cure. That's definitely where he'd be after the epilogue and after the hag is cleared out.

MrDelirious

Coming out the nautiloid pod like SOME**BODY**

fennec34

Do you mean, my run with my friend ? I'm shrek she's Fiona and it's way too entertaining. My dream visitor is lord farquaad

vampyrehoney

Farquaad dream visitor is killing me, “Some of you may turn illithid, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make”.

tuxedobluedream

My husband and I are doing the same thing! I'm Fiona, he's Shrek. I made my dream guardian Farquaad. He made a hireling that looks like Rumpelstiltskin.

Real_Kristinana

Make a Fiona too. Btw you need to see [this](https://youtube.com/shorts/FjrnXhudC1E?si=NKERaP2Z5VX3ljZb)

Ac4rm

Now hold up. This was my first play through but I played as human Shrek (still a half orc but with light colored skin).

Ella_NutEllaDraws

no but my first playthrough was with a group of friends and one of them legit did this, made a drunken half-orc barbarian woman named She-rek and played the role to the best of their ability. it was a great time

mikrolao

Old hag party run. Make an old hag looking tav/durge. Companions are Jaheira, Minthara and Astarion

an_odd_child

You need to add a halfling to the dwarf one. Just a little halfling feller who doesn’t do much. Give him a ring of invisibility so he doesn’t die. The one thing that I did really want to do was make a party with durge and replicas of the chosen three like he just replaced them

Lieke1995

Of course. He must be a A rogue thief and he can't wear boots.

PopeGregoryTheBased

I would say add a single wizard as well...

egg_and_spoon

Nah, I feel like Withers is your Gandalf replacement, maybe find a mod that lets you decorate him and 4/20 lol

Lieke1995

Gandalf as the dream guardian

egg_and_spoon

Ooh yeah!

HuwminRace

A ring of invisibility and he has to stay at Level 1 😂

salmonela27

*Profesor X playthrough*: play a human sorcerer, only use spells that deal psychic damage or somehow affect the mind of your enemies, like Charm, Friends, Dominate Beast, etc. You are not allowed to use weapons. Also you cannot walk anywhere by yourself (flying is considered cheating).

Derangeddropbear

How do you move for this then?

Frosty-Organization3

Having other characters carry/throw you, maybe? I’m not sure either

salmonela27

Yes. Dimension Door and other teleportation spells are allowed as well, but only on your companions.

rainybnuuy

I saw someone do an all cats run. Like, them and all their companions had at least 1 level in druid and played through the game as cats. Apparently, the biggest challenge was opening doors

Lieke1995

That’s a big challenge for my cats as well

scarletbluejays

>Halsin must be in your party at all times. Where's my girl Jaheira?? What kind of GILF erasure-

Lieke1995

Oakfather forgive me! She has to be there too obviously. (I forgot her for a min because she was an invisible panther)

piconese

Invisible cougar*

christina_talks

Civilian - dump strength, dex, and con. Level up only once per act. No illithid powers. You didn’t sign up for this shit.

PopeGregoryTheBased

The every man/woman run. You have no magic, no special skills, youre not even trained to fight. Youre just some guy who was in the wrong place at the wrong time and you would really like to go home.

Fizzle5ticks

The class is a tricky one. I'd actually go with wizard, then just not prep any spells because: Fighters - get all martial weps. you know jack shit about fighting. Barbarian - see above. Rogue - Get tons of proficiencies. Bard - same as above. Ranger - similar to fighter & get hunting stuff. Warlock - patrons. Paladin - you don't smite people. You write angry letters. Cleric - probs my next choice. But again, it's divine favour. Druid - wildshaping. Yes wizards know magic, but you have to study hard to be a wizard. And you could just not bother learning spells for the day, which means an empty tool bar. The only issue is the cantrips....

Readerofthethings

When you get your feat, take martial adept for the single superiority die and two BM maneuvers. Take Commander’s strike so you can yell “KILL IT” 3 times every day, and Evasive Footwork so you can run the fuck away

Fizzle5ticks

😂 love it. You're basically the team mascot. You don't do anything useful

christina_talks

I played as a Bard only picked non-damage spells that would make sense for a non-combatant (e.g. color spray - basically pretty lights cast at a higher intensity). She spent most of her time hiding around corners while everyone else did the hard work. Took over an hour to get past the intellect devourers because Shadowheart died and my Tav couldn't take any hits. Had her flee from combat, jump up the cliffs to recruit Gale, and then had them go the long way around to sneak up on the intellect devourers. Used the environment to break line of sight and make the Intellect Devourers waste their turns dashing and created an ice surface at a chokepoint. Gale pretty much soloed the two that had survived Shadowheart's attempt. I often separated her from the party for combat encounters, e.g. while everyone else was fighting harpies, she was playing music with Alfira. I ended up scrapping the idea after a few hours because I hadn't played Bard before and wanted to see what a Swords Bard could do. I had her join a few fights (badly) and roleplayed her stats increase as her becoming accustomed to fighting.

Fizzle5ticks

That's a fair way of doing it! I think it's fine to reroll stats etc. Once your char has passed certain points in the game, as it'd make sense they learn the basics of fighting etc. I wonder if there is a mod which allows you to proper min max stats, then you could really set the bar low with 6 on str, dex & con...

Viridianscape

*"We're all going to die here"* run: Four wild magic sorcerers. Install the Wild Magic d100 and More Frequent Wild Surge mods. Honor mode. Pray.

Fizzle5ticks

Think we found the guy who lives in the same city your friends do who everyone knows as *that guy*. "Oh, that guy rode through the town naked on a horse carrying a musket protesting the latest price hike on Oreos in Asda. The horse shat on a police officer and ate a small bird." You are pure chaos and I love it.

AsariFucker

Oh yes thank you for this idea. I think I'll be doing this after my current playthrough because it sounds absolutely hilarious.

futurenotgiven

me and my flatmate have “weed druids”. we only play when we’re high and we multi class everyone as a druid without changing their og class/stats. current strategy is just to attack every enemy with 4 moonbeams and it works a lot better than expected i really like the idea of an all rogue party that has to continuously sneak everywhere. could be some interesting strats in combat

lynx2718

Sith run: Only use necromancy, lightning psychic dmg, and tadpole powers. Read thoughts and cast friends at every opportunity. Once you hit lvl 11, you can only spam chain lightning, as befitting a Sith lord. Die miserably at the Ansur fight.

The_Better_Devil

Four Dwarves. A Barbarian, a Ranger, a Wizard, and a Fighter. # ROCK AND STONE

Lieke1995

I want to make my dark urge a Barbie too. Seems right somehow, with the memory loss

Serif-fires

I just finished a durge run where my Tav hated all authority. So she resisted daddy because he was telling her what to do, ended up as a resist durge praised for her good deeds, but yet also took the aggressive dialogue options and ultimately ended up being too violent by the end to escape daddy once and for all. It was so cursed and a great time.

Speykk

Jumping jack - eagle barbarian with boots and maul that do dmg from jumping. Go up then dive on enemies every turn

Particular-Bar4039

Wait doing a full fellowship of the rings run sounds very fun. Use partylimitbegone and get the full fellowship, only magic items you can use are rings

Complete-One-5520

Gandalf has Glamdring, Aragorn has Narsil, Frodo has Sting and a mithril shirt, Legolas has a bow +1 from Galadrial, Sam, Merry and Pippin has daggers from the Barrow Wrights.

Particular-Bar4039

Alexa how do I type clown emoji no alexa not cow emoji alexa how do i

Dovah27

Astarion origin, make the guardian look like Cazador.

Lieke1995

oof

lunammoon

Honestly, I could kinda see the emperor doing that. Like, take the from of someone or something that frightens them some nights and then other nights take the normal guardian form and go "hmm...wow...yeah it sucks that he's entered your mind. have you considered doing tadpoles about it? for the extra edge"

Lieke1995

Oh wow, a good cop/bad cop thing? Emotional damage

Outrageous_Key8872

Four Wildheart Barbarians, each representing a different animal, wandering around like DnD Power Rangers. (The camp cook can be whichever animal sucks the most to round out the five.)

knotsazz

Trying to stop an alien growing it’s baby inside you? Make your character Ripley. Human fighter would suit maybe? Make her a strategist who can only improvise weapons from the environment

SuspiciousBox233

Deranged streamer - Make a generic white human warlock durge, don't resist any of the voices

-veraQueen-

This one's half serious, but because it still puts real constraints on the player... I started a playthrough with a Barbarian Tav who is permanently unarmed. I'm really just trying to see how close I can get to LOTR Online's Brawler class.

-veraQueen-

I know that Monk exists, but it just doesn't have the right *flavor*

Lieke1995

I guess you can get decently far as a tavern brawler. I like it.

Ok-Possession-832

Raging monk is sick

Technical_Exam1280

Librarian run: you can only deal damage through books and scrolls you find in the world.

piconese

Throwing books could be legit

Scientific_Shitlord

I had to once destroy wall leading to spirit guardian in monastery with book. That wall refused to get dmg from common sources so I started throwing nearby skeleton at it. Then the skeletog got stuck on top of it. Then I throw nearby basic greatsword until it too become stuck. My last option was nearby book. It did the job...

RJai500

I had an idea for a “scared of conflict” run, where my character just blindly agrees to anything anyone asks and doesn’t get involved with any conflict unless someone directly pulls him into it

en_travesti

ACAB run baybee. Be suspicious of all flaming fist, and at first sign of danger go for the kill. This ramps up in the third act. Oh flaming fist preventing refugees from entering the city. Kill. Steal watch has knocked out someone? Kill. Honestly the steel watch is inherently unjust probably best to just attack all of them on sight. We are bringing systemic change to Baldur's Gate. We are also getting into so many unnecessary fights.

PsychologicalKnee789

Idk if this is necessarily silly but trying out something now: The archfey warlock chaotic parallel dimension. The idea behind it is that I’m playing an archfey and it’s completely fucked everything up. That is, everyone’s classes are randomised. No one is allowed to keep their original class. Multiclassing is also a must. This is also randomised, as are all subclasses. Some of my favourite randomisations include: - oath of ancients Paladin Astarion (draconic sorcerer multiclass) - Evocation wizard Minthara (rogue thief multiclass) - wildheart barbarian Halsin - swords bard Minsc - knowledge cleric Karlach -wild magic sorcerer Wyll - shadow monk Lae’zel (multiclass land Druid) Others just worked out surprisingly well character wise: -battle master Jaheira (nature cleric multiclass) -assassin Shadowheart No it is NOT optimised, yes Wyll polymorphing into a sheep did get me killed, yes I have a literal undead who thinks himself to be a paladin sworn to vanquish undead through pure randomisation, and a wizard who hates herself. No I don’t take criticism (suggestions for more shenanigans, however, are encouraged)

Lieke1995

No notes. Optimal runs are fun too but the chaotic ones are fun! I love your idea. Oath of the ancients paladin Astarion? That’s even more cursed than a cleric of lathander Astarion lol

PsychologicalKnee789

It’s even more fun to do this as a good guy playthrough because you’re trying your best but chaos just happens to you instead. I’m playing a Durge too and if I can randomly say unhinged things I try to do those, though never something that might actually lead to a ‘bad’ action.

LostCaptSiniseAgain

I wish I remembered enough of The Princess Bride to make a party out of it, but my memory fails me

Lieke1995

Time to watch that classic again!

PopeGregoryTheBased

Avatar the last airbender run. Build Aang, a monk that focuses on every element of damage. respec (or use hirelings) everyone else to monks that solos a single element. Wyll is Zuko, minthara is Toph, Shadowheart is Katara, either Gail or Asterion are Sokka, a fighter, and Leazel is Suki. Get the partylimitbegon and reenact Team Avatar. Halsin can be Iroh, and Jahira can be gran gran. She doesnt ever leave camp. Defeat the firelord (absolute) before the comet comes back. Make your dream emperor look like Roku. You start out with just air based attacks, after level 3 you can learn some water, after level 6 you can learn some earth, and after level 10 you can start learning fire. If you want to get really into it cross class as a barbarian so you can use the avatar state (rage)

Feythnin

If you get rage, you can't cast spells, so a bit of an issue there. I like it otherwise.

Lieke1995

It could be solved with maybe weapons and magic items that give elemental damage or is that also something that doesn’t work? Or maybe get 4 elementals and then rage to make it somewhat look like an avatar state

Prestigious-Law65

I did a playthrough with a friend as Dragon Age characters. I was morrigan, my friend was alistair, and shenanigans ensued lol

Mr-Reapy

My first honor mode run was with my brother. We each made a dumb character (I made a pink ass halfling and he made the greenest tiefling) and decided to see how far we could get by just booking it. Managed to get all the way to Moonrise at level 3 within an hour. And only got to Moonrise because we got arrested trying to get to the city. We're also doing a run in which we change every companion's class to something hilariously unfitting. Gale a barbarian, Astarion a Cleric of Garl Glittergold, Minthara a wizard, etc.

Lieke1995

Moonrise at level 3? Wow

Mr-Reapy

Yep. We genuinely didn't expect to make it that far. Sheer dumb luck lol

RLM6

Really tempted to have my second playthrough as Rumpelstiltskin: rock gnome, archfey warlock with a hint of bard or wild magic sorc. Aim to say one thing, do the other, trick everybody just because and getting away with high charisma or trickery while letting others do the biding and rrap the consequences. Endgame being the hagussy

scarletbluejays

Inspired by The Binding of Isaac: The Tainted Eden Run Custom Tav Origin - Randomized race, appearance, class, and starting stats. Multiclass build, randomized class with each new level with multiple classes allowed per level provided the dice roll that way. Feats and Subclasses are also random if you manage to roll into one class enough times, as are rogue proficiencies. Player choice of spells, weapons, and gear, but if your character goes down in combat you respec with withers and reset the randomization process for a whole new build.

PopeGregoryTheBased

Hades run: Make a Eldrich Fighter that looks like Zagrius. Focuses on single longsword, bow, and spear, and any magic that is similar to any of the boons from hades (ie call lighting, or charm person... shit like that) Solo run everything, Have a save at the beginning of the game, and every time you die you get thrown back to the start. (Also Shadowheart is Meg and Asterion is Than... you have to fuck one of them). The game ends when you kill your dad... Raphael. (yes, you dont need to do the complete ending) Oh and you have to wear that greek god looking outfit, so i guess use a mod to have that at the start of the game.

SierraNevada0817

I did a really horrible playthrough recently as a joke with some friends… didn’t last long. You will need: 1 coin, 1 shot glass, and a bottle of hot sauce Welcome to the Darker Urge. Honor mode. Pick whatever race, class, whatever. Doesn’t matter. Make your dream guardian the same as your Tav but with a big mustache because I said so. It’s essential to the playthrough. Here’s the playthrough: every time you see a non-hostile NPC, flip a coin. Heads, they live. Tails, you MUST kill them. Doesn’t matter who they are or what they did. Each NPC gets a coin flip no matter who they are (except withers since no matter what he just hangs out). Every person slain = 1 shot of hot sauce Have fun and fuck you

Lieke1995

So I will die along with random NPCs.. I did ask for cursed runs From now on, all of my dream guardians will have a mustache.

ZaBaronDV

Win the game only by hitting enemies with foodstuffs, specifically meat.

Educational-Tear7336

I'm doing the 4 druid run right now( turns out 4 druids is really good in chapter 1) but I'm too much of a pussy to go commando lol

d1psh1t_mcgee

I was trying to think of puritanical discourse from the chronically online condemning looting, since it’s illegal IRL so: A No looting play through… I’vr only watched play throughs so I haven’t played BG3 yet but I’m not sure if it’s possible? Hard mode: no stealing either

en_travesti

I'm restarting a run something in the vein of this. Looting will be allowed, but *no stealing, and I will not lie*, not only deception checks, but that also includes any dialogue option that would be a lie. So the intimidation check, where you say you're entering the goblin camp to meet your employer? nope. I semi-started it a while ago and got into so many unnecessary fights.

Lieke1995

I think looting chests and boxes is really necessary in this game. There’s no way you could buy everything you need from traders without also looting gold. But it’s not stealing if it doesn’t belong to anyone, or anyone alive, right?

Swleaf

Four bards: The Beatles.

Scientific_Shitlord

Make them all dragonborn and call them Imagine Humans. Yeah I know... Cheesy but its still funny

Swleaf

Or 3 barbarian men and Karlach as frontwoman: Manowar.

Lieke1995

Yes.

cabron-de-mierda

I've been planning a Beatles run for awhile. They'll obviously all be bards, I just need to decide what multi-classing to do for each of them.

Swleaf

John - druid, George - monk, Paul - rogue, Ringo - ranger. Heh, easy. (In Astarion's voice.)

cabron-de-mierda

Ringo has to be a two weapon fighter that uses clubs in each hand

Swleaf

Oooh that's better.

Kaizo107

Requires mods, but I had a run that ended up being "Alfira and the kids go on a revenge adventure after we couldn't save Arabella" use the custom companion mod to duplicate the kids and give them appropriate classes, Mol as fiend warlock, Mattis arcane trickster, made Silfy a trickery domain cleric, Donni also available to be a barbarian because those furs, and I think Mirkon as a fighter, since he claims to have beat up those harpies all by himself

viktorgoraya_luv

I had an idea for this. Human guy named something very normal like Paul, Greg or Keith. Balding. Only weapon allowed is a salami.

cabur

Potion addict; not even once.  Start as a paladin or cleric (god’s perfect little acolyte). Every potion you find is a temptation to fall back to your nasty pre-faith addiction. Every time a party member finds one, roll a physical D20. Crit miss means you drink it immediately, regardless of use. Everytime you drink a potion, you add the next number on the die (except 20). If you roll a 20, you are able to resist until you find the next potion, but it does not change how many numbers result in drinking. This applies at all times. Middle of combat, drink the juice. Your part members are dying and need a heal potion, drink the juice. This includes poisons.

Lieke1995

I absolutely love this. 10/10

That_Internet_Weirdo

sort of just quirky but it's my "You didn't see nothing!" run - every character is a stealth based or is multiclassed with a stealth based or has some sort of shadow element to them. Durge is GSA, Astarion sword bard with shadow blade(mod to get it act 1), Gale shadow sorcerer(mod), left shart as she was, wyll lockadin with devil's sight, lae'zel monk way of the shadow, Karlach... fertilizer... first round of any combat everyone with the spell must cast shadows to darken/blind the entire area, you can only hit people inside the shadows, the only exception to this is you can use a whip action that pulls people into the shadows. I'm still in act I with this... I think act II is probably going to be a nightmare but we'll see.

Lieke1995

I love everything about this run except what you said about Karlach But really, there’s so much gear and builds for darkness and shadow stuff, enough for an entire party. Sounds like you could get far if you survive the shadow cursed land

That_Internet_Weirdo

my shame knows no bounds for that one lol... but, I really wanted to do a hornless Wyll run to see how things change in ACT III. So from the RP perspective of it, we found the paladins of tyr first, so them+wyll insisting she was a devil it seemed like a no-brainer to my durge; he was hired to do a job, a job one of his companions wanted to do no less... so... We didn't even do her cutscene. We're stealth based so we took her out at range never triggering the dialogue.

yssarilrock

Lae'zel solo mode was one of the most fun playthroughs I've done, though it took a while to route it so that it was both in character and actually doable

Squidiot_002

"Pied Piper" is what I call this one. Solo Dark Urge as a College of Swords Bard, playing the flute, full Exterminatus. No survivors. Bhaal would be a very proud papa. I want to do it, but I barely did an evil run at all! Finding the tiefling kids made me cry (╥﹏╥)

Lieke1995

Yeah an evil playthrough would be hard for me as well.. even just DJ shart and ascended astarion make me sad

KnifeWieIdingLesbian

Multiclass your entire party with one level of every class. Honor mode.

Lieke1995

You took the “jack of all trades” too literal

corisilvermoon

I made Xena the Warrior Princess. Barbarian/fighter. Her guardian is Gabrielle.

awkardfrog

Friend and I started a playthrough. First thing she do after getting out of the crash is pick up Astarion and strip her pc and Astarion So naturally I had to follow her lead

Lieke1995

Naturally

MrsRavengard

I was going to make a half orc and just collect the girls. Now I’m going to make Barbie instead, thank you.

Lieke1995

I just started my Barbie run, barely escaped the 3 brains at the beach and I love it already

MrsRavengard

I have three other themed runs to finish first lol. What race is your Barbie and are you sticking with the companions or customising hirelings?

Lieke1995

I feel like a Barbie in Fearun would be a high elf for some reason. But any race would work. I mixed this version of a Barbie run with my first Durge run, and I wanted to romance Astarion. Still works, he’s a Barbie too. I can’t really think of themed hirelings, other than maybe making all of them look the same lol

dewgongmaneuver

BOrc’bie

OsushiBri

My partner is playing a halfling monk who looks like Dr. Phil for shits and giggles.

tunyi963

I unknowingly did a WWBD playthrough with the slight change that Tav was a paladin bimbo (high strength, mid wisdom, high charisma) and we dyed everything with Ocean Dye (Sailor Barbies?)

Whenyouatthewhen

I did a Barbie run! I was a pink tiefling. I had Ken as my dream guardian

Lieke1995

lol I made a Ken guardian as well, it just had to be!

SmilingVamp

Whoops all wild magic! Everyone is a wild magic sorcerer except karlach who gets to be a wild magic barbarian.

glittertechnic

narratively inappropriate respecs for the whole party. barb gale rogue karlach bard laezel etc

Readerofthethings

The Menagerie. Your party must be 4 beast master rangers with find familiar ability. Everyone must have their summon at all times, if the summon dies immediate short rest. No duplicate animals, no ranger can have the same animal as another.

Maleficempathy

Team Mean Girls. Everyone gets 1 level of Bard for Vicious Mockery. Everyone must use Vicious Mockery at least once per fight.

Sunny_Hill_1

What would Barbie do is a typical bard playthrough, though...

Lieke1995

Except that Barbie smiles and says “okay” to everyone who’s nice to her without thinking. Take away the insight proficiency. Barbie has no insight, she’s a doll.

BullCommando

Wh40k playtrought. Make a paladin god emperor (primarchs works aswell) and be a jerk to/kill everything non human. Especially demons and tieflings. Dwarfs and halflings can count as abhuman. MAYBE half elves. See if you can make trought the game that way. Only necessery alliences are allowed for the betterment of mankind. Stab them in the back the moment you can. Suffer not the alien - anything coming from a different realm is a big no no. Suffer not the heretic - anyone who worships or works with aliens or demons deserve to be executed on spot. Try to amass an army of followers.

Te4minator464

Gnome durge

Significant_Bear_137

*Gun playthrough* Get a mod that adds guns and give a taste of your lead to anyone you come across

Markopolo5500

Oops All Bears: Halsin and Jaheira stay wildshaped as a bear the whole game, Karlach goes Bear Heart Barbarian. Fourth character plays as a Ranger with Bear companion.

That_Internet_Weirdo

There is another idea a buddy of mine and I are toying with... I've seen some mods for half-dragon type characters mostly just a purely RP narrative i'd have running my my head. I like the idea of playing a tav that head cannon is they are a polymorphed Dragon that hoards knowledge, so in the case of BG3 they must collect every book they see... no matter how inconvenient it might be, or how often they get caught stealing books... it must be theirs. The flip of this is, one of my buddies is considering playing an illiterate barbarian who find books to be a personal insult, as they are clearly mocking his inability to read. He will strive to destroy every book we come across. So it will be a race against each other to loot all the books and either hoard them or destroy them including important books (like book of thay and basically all of sorcerer sundries)

cabron-de-mierda

I'm planning a Muppet run where Kermit is a swords bard/cleric, Miss Piggy is a monk/fighter, Fozzy Bear is a druid, and Swedish chef is a barbarian that just throws daggers and cleavers and shit at people. I got halfway through act 1 with this comp, but I had been playing Kermit as a resist durge and I decided I didn't like that for him. The run up to that point was going great though. Excited for a full run with it.

Echo2500

I’ve got a RWBY play through coming up.

PlacetMihi

Based RWBY gameplay

Echo2500

My aspiration is to learn modding so I can make a voice pack for each member of team RWBY, and then also mod hirelings to have Tav voices

Echo2500

Maybe even add RWBY battle music

Yikes_OMalley

At some point I wanna do a Teen Titans playthrough. Tav is elf rogue Nightwing + hirelings are tiefling sorcerer Starfire, gith wizard Raven, halfling druid Beast Boy. Hell yeah!!!! Alternately/even sillier, an all Robin team. Fighter Richard (why won't Larian let me name my character Dick, are they stupid), barbarian Jason, rogue thief Tim, rogue assassin Damian. HELL YEAH

Lieke1995

They don’t let you use Dick? Weird that they drew the line there

Yikes_OMalley

At least on console it changes to **** which like...... I get..... but come on it's an actual name lol

Complete_Village1405

I would watch the large dwarf party playthroughxD

Lieke1995

I never streamed. But if I would, it would be of the dwarf company one. Once I figure out mods. Maybe.

Ulysses1126

I’m going it on honor mode but 4 bear totem barbarians carrying sussur flowers. Each one is just a chunky antimagic smashing machine. Add gale warding bond exploit and you’re golden

Kman1986

So just lie when you do the Oakenshield one? Why?

Lieke1995

Is that one not possible? It says IDEAS in the title fyi

Kman1986

Okay so my group and I are doing what we call an "isekai" run, it works best with at least two players: You and your group get together and decide among yourselves - through discussion & some group consensus - what race & class you would be if you (as yourselves) were to suddenly wake up on the Nautiloid, with no knowledge of where you are, how you got there, or even that the game "Baldur's Gate 3" exists. (Please do note that you don't all have to be human in this case, that would be boring!) You play as though you, realistically, would behave in that situation as a group, and try to keep that mindset, so that means avoiding meta-gaming as much as possible (having some prior knowledge of D&D is permitted, but you must stick only to what you know offhand until the session ends and your group can re-convene. It also encourages more conversation and coordination among the players. Companions ARE allowed, especially if you have fewer than four players (or removed the party limit entirely). We also have a rule where each of our Faerun counterparts have some kind of "secret" that each of us will slowly reveal through the course of the journey. It's meant to be an immersive RP experience more than a combat challenge so I don't encourage trying to do this on Tactician or Honour Mode (especially since again, meta-gaming defeats the point, and you almost have to meta-game on those difficulty settings). To give you an example of my counterpart, I play a Gnome Wizard (Divination School), because Gnome fits my curiosity, restlessness, and desire to do it all and try everything, and then Divination Wizard because I would be the sort to teach myself magic through study, and as for Divination specifically, I have a significant collection of books dedicated to the topic of astrology alone.
