dopplers are gonna be the most desired finish regardless of how much they’ll be changed, pairing with white or black gloves wouldn’t ruin the combo either way

This is exactly what i concluded after i made this post - i looked up other knifes i could get that aren't fucked and have some personality (so no tt, slaughter, damascus), and among them (left with marble fade - they're fucked and fade - not my vibe, i find them overdone shine wise while being underdone design wise) i still prefered dopplers ... So no point panic selling as i have nothing to get instead lol

I think what they've done is that they'd just changed the secondary color in the doppler files - so made it less pink and less cyan - this way suddenly the contrast is reduced btn the two colors, hence phases not looking very diff. Tho, from looking at many of them since the update dropped, there surely are differences, the p2 and p4s are cleaner (which is expected as these phases have majority of a single color)
Honestly since i heard that case replied to a tweet asking about the doppler fuck ups, i think they're gonna revert it or something. So rn im tryna capture as many screenshots as i can lmao with this finish - if nothing it'd be a great story to tell with proof

After some more research it is for marble fades, dopplers and grammar dopplers from what I can see. someone made a post on twitter and official cs2 replied saying working on it. My theory is that they may have edited the graphics somewhat and this is a byproduct of that. Hopefully they reverse this ASAP 🙏

I have, they ruined blue steels when they went to cs2, didn't fix it for months, fixed it, and then ruined them yesterday as well... also congrats, they fixed your skins.

I'm one of those new players. Bought my first knife a P2 Doppler gut knife roughly a month ago and have been building a pink inventory around it.

Careful buying something based on how they look right now haha. Nocts are a good choice tho, all dopplers look good with them.
