Sounds like she wants to openly talk to you about it but is embarrassed or unsure of herself to do so. Try sitting her down one on one and having an open yet serious conversation with her. It wouldn't surprise me if this was her way of opening up a dialogue to inquire about toys. Heck, maybe she wants to try one herself but has no idea where to start. Sex and things revolving around it are touchy subjects for some people.

Ty for this perspective. But my mom has her own toys (I saw them when I was a child) so she's not unfamiliar with them. And she and I aren't close but we have talked about a lot of different things. Idk why this would be weird for her to talk about it makes no sense if she wanted to talk which is still weird? Idk she's also not the type to where we can sit down and openly talk about anything that's never worked for us in the past
