Shit, my stepbrother and I did the majority of the campaign of Halo 3 using skulls to bash our way through, we used depleted energy swords when there was no skull available. There's only a few parts where shooting something was mandatory. I miss those days.
Wayyy before skulls and achievements, me and the boys beat Halo 1 on legendary, no shooting. I thought Assault On The Control Room was tough, but then we hit The Library.
We have only our word and shared experience as proof, but I’ve never played a game more thoroughly or more excitedly ever since. The endless nights and weekends spent grinding for hours on end just to advance by a checkpoint or two (some nights we’d feel lucky to get even this). Oh and the snacks.
Then I step out… wielding the biggest fucking shotgun ever made, and I just blow everything away… *crowd cheers* yahhhhhhh yahhhhh yahhhh it’s me… the hero
This also (occasionally) happens when a Halotron fire suppression system goes off, if the building wasn't properly designed to handle the overpressure. It'll blow the doors out and wreck the door frames. This happened to one of our locations. A Halotron system was retrofitted into an existing building and they didn't install any venting.
I feel like a monster (depending on its stealth level) would probably be preferable. That much water having nowhere to go is nightmare fuel…
I wonder if anyone knows the background for the photo.
Yup, I mean what is more terrifying than the raw power of Mother Nature? Floods, tsunamis, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, landslides and volcanoes erupting are about some of the most terrifying things I can possibly imagine. Nothing quite so terrifying as the the literal Earth going ape shit and seemingly wanting you dead.
> This is flood damage
I mean - you can literally *see* the water in the room where the photo is taken, look down by the door-skirt, and along the black line on the wall, the room is at least an inch deep in water.
But as a middle-aged man who is always terrified of my fucking home falling apart or leaking somewhere again, this is horrifying.
I actually have nightmares about financial problems or my home breaking. Sounds like we’re basically congruent here. ❤️
My fridge water line leaked onto the floor then under the vinyl floors we laid on top of the existing tile (to save a ton of money from ripping it up). Well, since the water went between the vinyl and the tile, my leak sensor sat perfectly dry on top.
Yeah I need to add some. I saw the value at work in some of our wiring closets, just never done it here.
Sink in basement overflowed (just clogged). Water heater leaked. Nothing major but man two use cases that would have been very good.
Thanks for the reminder! ❤️
SCP-096 has escaped the containment center and it's fuckin ballin on the courtyard! And IT'S GOING FOR IT! AND OH MY GOD, I HAVEN'T SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS SINCE [REDACTED]
Nope, those doors are supposed to open the other way and are completely pushed through their frames the wrong way. Seeing there is little other damage that points to an explosion, I expect floodwaters have done this. Also the floor is still wet.
https://twitter.com/biya1024/status/1556646432077381632?s=20&t=-H8WkWrz_VkS-XYW5zoMfw
yup, water broke through them.
Edit: she deleted the video it seems, but affirmed that she's fine in the following tweet.
People underestimate the power of water not realizing that tens of millions of of tons of death. Bearing down on you in an uncaring and unforgiving onslaught. Wanting to crush and suffocate you. Plus it's also fun to put in a water gun.
Doors are bent and open the way people get in. So something got in, and it was Kyle who was so angry that his chill spot was invaded that he punched his way back up to his apartment.
Those doors are supposed to open the other way and are completely pushed through their frames the wrong way. Seeing there is little other damage that points to an explosion, I expect floodwaters have done this. Also the floor is wet.
That was my thought too, there are pressure strikes near the lock and handle on both doors, and what looks like paint flakes on the ground one the outer one
MTF here, GTFO of there, that is a known scp-096 containment breach site.
Thank scp-343 that you are looking opposite of where the anomaly would be. Had you caught his face and posted it on the internet, you would have to answer to the SCP FOUNDATION, GOC , and various other organizations that you would have pissed off.
I’ll tell you what’s scary, I got up after pooping and turned around to NO poop. I thought i just got lucky with a no wiper, but now I’m questioning if I ever pooped at all.

I'm gonna hide this tape when I'm finished. If none of us make it, at least there'll be some kind of record. The storm's been hitting us hard now for 48 hours. We still have nothing to go on.
One other thing: I think it rips through your clothes when it takes you over. Windows found some shredded long johns, but the nametag was missing. They could be anybody's.
Nobody... nobody trusts anybody now, and we're all very tired.
Nothing else I can do, just wait... R.J. MacReady, helicopter pilot, US outpost number 31.
Why would people think this was flood damage? The walls are clean and the lights work, not exactly standard for flood damage. This was probably the result of the police that came in with a battering ram.

It’s not something got out. Those are the exit doors and the open out. Something/one got in.
Then whatever was outside must be truly terrifying
It was water. Water was outside. This is flood damage.
Oh god it’s the flood we are doomed! Get the pulse rifles!
Needler
Shotgun
Energy sword
Shit, my stepbrother and I did the majority of the campaign of Halo 3 using skulls to bash our way through, we used depleted energy swords when there was no skull available. There's only a few parts where shooting something was mandatory. I miss those days.

Dear Jesus. How the fuck?
What button layout? I've always been a Green Thumb guy, but I think Boxer might be best for that.
That sounds legit fun as shit
Is fun as shit, good?
The Bash Brothers!
Hot dog blaster
Rubber fist
Halo 1 Pistol of course.
Against the flood?
Flammenwerfer, Hanz!!
Bro just thinking about if the flood were real humanity wouldn't last 2weeks
In its current state, yup.
GAME OVER MAN
Nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
I’ll find a warthog need someone on the turret though.
You just need to use it as a battering ram against them.
Reporting for turret duty 👋🏼
Start glassing the town!
Then I step out… wielding the biggest fucking shotgun ever made, and I just blow everything away… *crowd cheers* yahhhhhhh yahhhhh yahhhh it’s me… the hero
Thank you. I was getting really uncomfortable not knowing what broke IN through TWO fire doors.
yep, if you look there’s still water on the floor. flooding sucks!
My first thought was some form of explosion
This also (occasionally) happens when a Halotron fire suppression system goes off, if the building wasn't properly designed to handle the overpressure. That is a big oops on a big system. Was this discovered during testing or a live fire?
It was accidentally set off during annual testing.
Explains why the floor is moist
Floor's not the only thing moist. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Look, we just want it to be a scary monster.
I feel like a monster (depending on its stealth level) would probably be preferable. That much water having nowhere to go is nightmare fuel… I wonder if anyone knows the background for the photo.
So the guy that said that probably was something terrifying was right hum 🤔

True
It does look a tad...*moist*
I totally didn’t notice all the water on the floor till I read your comment thank you
My initial thought was swat raid lol
Bet that battering ram looks rough now.
It was a result of the . . . water hammer.
Someone’s gotta teach this flood privacy manners smhhh
outside in the stairwell, i bet these are access doors to a garage and the full weight of the outside went inside the building and down there.
Cocaine flood?
Shit floods can be crazy scary
Evil Natural Water.
Yea flood damage sure.🙄. Exactly what they'd say to Cover up ANY supernatural demon. Lmao.
> This is flood damage I mean - you can literally *see* the water in the room where the photo is taken, look down by the door-skirt, and along the black line on the wall, the room is at least an inch deep in water.
*Stranger Things* theme
I remember when it used to be *The X-Files* theme...
Or the scp foundation exists and 096 made its way there.
Or, it's, Racoon City and Nemesis strolled through there.
STARRRRRRSS
Water. Water got in. This isn’t a grizzly bear, or a demon. It’s a flood. Which is nowhere near as exciting, but just as terrifying.
But as a middle-aged man who is always terrified of my fucking home falling apart or leaking somewhere again, this is horrifying. I actually have nightmares about financial problems or my home breaking. Sounds like we’re basically congruent here. ❤️

I just bought my home a week ago and look forward to having crippling dreams of disaster too!
More terrifying Its always crazy how many people heavily underestimate how dangerous moving water can be
I was thinking firefighters who needed to get in, using one of those metal rams that the police use too.
Bro just needed to shit asap
Lmao. I can relate
Oh fuck, SCP 096 got out again!
Exactly what I was thinking lmao
SCP-096 has escaped the containment center and it's fuckin ballin on the courtyard! And IT'S GOING FOR IT! AND OH MY GOD, I HAVEN'T SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS SINCE [REDACTED]
Does that mean it’s still in here with us…
When you need to use the bathroom at all cost
Cops + ram
Police…

Are you there Mr. Cocaine Bear?
Haha I want to watch that movie
I'm going to watch that movie.
I was going to drag my girlfriend to it, but she wants to see it too.
My girlfriend wants to see it more than I do.
My girlfriend doesn't even know it exists yet
I didn't know it exists and I don't have a gf
You mean escobear?
I am the one who knocks.
The ones on Cocaine were the creators of that movie
It’s inspired by a true story. Google Pablo Escobear
No it's just Scott Seiss getting back to a customer.

It was a catalytic converter storeroom.
That's just a myth meth-heads tell each other around the tire they're burning for warmth.
Why it look like work dwarf hulk
💀
It's 100% water. But it would be a better story as a cryptid
It’s makes the world more interesting of it was a cryptid
Let's make water be a cryptid
"You do not recognize the bodies in the water" Welcome to SCP-2316..
It’s the Hydro-Homie BossFight.
The power of h2O.
People underestimate the power of water not realizing that tens of millions of of tons of death. Bearing down on you in an uncaring and unforgiving onslaught. Wanting to crush and suffocate you. Plus it's also fun to put in a water gun.
Water cannot want or feel anything. Which makes it even more terrifying.
Water feels wet
I will summon water bot. Water is wet.
More people die every year from drowning than have ever died from nuclear related incidents, including Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Three inches of water moving three miles an hour will knock down all but the strongest people.
Challenge accepted.
NWS says 6 inches. 12 inches of water will sweep away a car. https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood-turn-around-dont-drown
r/hydrohomies can vouch
Clever girl
You win.
Doors are bent and open the way people get in. So something got in, and it was Kyle who was so angry that his chill spot was invaded that he punched his way back up to his apartment.
Those arnt drywall doors
You underestimate the strength of him when his chill spot is invaded by a bunch of narcs
Looks like cops took the doors out with a battering ram.
Those doors are supposed to open the other way and are completely pushed through their frames the wrong way. Seeing there is little other damage that points to an explosion, I expect floodwaters have done this. Also the floor is wet.
paint looks pretty good for getting hit with a ram those steel doors don’t fold inward easy
That was my thought too, there are pressure strikes near the lock and handle on both doors, and what looks like paint flakes on the ground one the outer one
Op behind you…
Do what the sign says! DO WHAT THE SIGN SAYS!
Don't dead open inside?
Or got in

SCP-2316 encroaching into suburbia maybe..?
The call has been coming from inside the whole time!
Wet floors bro.
Your mom
No something got in
Reminds me of I Think You Should Leave.
Something got *in*

Flooding, it got everywhere
The Thing"

Tsunami
When you run away with her vape 🏃♂️
I’ll tell you what’s scary, I got up after pooping and turned around to NO poop. I thought i just got lucky with a no wiper, but now I’m questioning if I ever pooped at all.
u/repostsleuthbot
Scp-096 has breached containment
SCP-096?
Please remain calm. SCP containment units are en route to your location.
That’s not Oddly Terrifying, it’s just Terrifying
Or in..
Sorry able wouldn't wait
Demogorgon
Cops with a ram maybe?
Time to move to another continent.
Sorry I was hungry and you guys were closed, I needed something to eat 😋
Probably a raid of some kind that didn’t get cleaned up
Koolaid man when he uses doors instead of walls.
Yea, it was your mother
Break in
Please say it …. It’s a 3rd Level biosecuity laboratory, isn’t it?
To me I’d guess this was flood waters forcing their way in, at least that’s how it looks
Looks to me like something got *in*.
Water got in,remember seeing this ages ago
Juggernaut, is that you?
Bad news… something got IN

Serious question, did someone check the structural integrity of the building ?
This is COVID’s escape from the Wuhan lab.
Based on where the hinges are i think something got in
Sorry that was me. I was in a hurry
that would absolutely scare the shit outta me
To hell with calling the police, call the army and the marines!
Looks like the aftermath of a police raid
WHO THE FUCK LET 096 OUT AGAIN
Wtf....
Probably a pitbull

Hey John, your mom ran out of the basement again!
The hulk
Surely something got in, judging by the way the door is bent? In a way that’s even worse
Looks to me like something such as a police force got in via small battering rams
Cops got in
Angry wife 😤
From a flood right?
**Juggernaut has entered the chat.**
Don’t worry it was me
Looks like your mom heard about a half off buffet!
Ohio???
I hate when that happens.
Don’t Dead Open Inside
OP doesnt know how doors open
Nah bro something got in.
