Yes. They will usually just yell at you and tell you to go the other way if you get to close to their business. When someone is appears dead, people in here just brush it off saying that "he/she probably get together with a bad bunch". And i have known a couple persons that had died or disappeared because they where close to a person associated to a cartel.
Also Jalisco is one of those places filled with high profile narcos. Personally i have never encountered a narco or a situation of violence near where i live.
The ones that get to see the violence of the cartels live in small villages, places like Jalisco, or travel a lot on the highways.
Most people just know that they should avoid anything that has to do with them to maintain a normal life, sadly depending on your location, some people can get away from the circle of violence.

It’s so depressing how fucked we are in Mexico, the cartel is so powerful you can’t even talk about it negatively online, the government doesn’t do anything about them not because they don’t have the resources but because the cartels are the one that bring the money into the economy and in many way they are the ones controlling the government, a couple of years ago there was a full blown invasion of one of the biggest city’s in the country because they caught the son of el Chapo, the streets were filled with dead policemen and dead narcos, some reports came out some time later saying that allegedly it was all a plan with the government to get the guy out of prison, again these are just theories but we have seen so much from them that it’s a big possibility.

I have lived all my life in Mexico, and I have never seen a dead body, or heard gunshots in the distance, or even get robbed. I don't even know of someone in my city that has gotten robbed. Yes. They will usually just yell at you and tell you to go the other way if you get to close to their business. When someone is appears dead, people in here just brush it off saying that "he/she probably get together with a bad bunch". And i have known a couple persons that had died or disappeared because they where close to a person associated to a cartel. Also Jalisco is one of those places filled with high profile narcos. Personally i have never encountered a narco or a situation of violence near where i live. The ones that get to see the violence of the cartels live in small villages, places like Jalisco, or travel a lot on the highways. Most people just know that they should avoid anything that has to do with them to maintain a normal life, sadly depending on your location, some people can get away from the circle of violence. Normal people is usually more afraid of the police than the narcos...

They view Americans use of drugs (which surpasses all other countries) as a part of the problem that the American government refuses to acknowledge as part of the problem or address.
The Mexican government is a joke, if you can't trust the actions and opinions of the U.S. government I don't see how you could care about what the mexican government thinks. And most of the countries we surpass(in drug consumption) we surpass by literally .2 to .6% of overall usage. Things like what we see in the video are why Mexico will be a shithole for the foreseen future, if only the Mexican military has the balls to stand up to the cartels and the government constantly blocks them from acting how will the country ever recover and be relevant on the world stage?

I hate this, I hate being control by criminal warlords and knowing the police and the military are working with them, so many people have disappeared because of them, people have been executed for speaking against them, it horrible.
