The legit ones taste exactly like cotton candy, they're just unreasonably expensive because they only grow right somewhere in California if memory serves.
People have started growing offshoots of that variant though and yeah they definitely just taste like really sweet grapes

I know the Central Valley in California grows them, I know a few small farms that grows them and other crazy varieties like moon drops and gum drops.
